Una casa ideal para descansar. Muy acogedora y perfecta para desconectar. Fuimos con nuestro perro y fue perfecto, disfrutamos los 3!

This is a tranquil place to stay if you are looking for spot to relax! I would stay here again. If you are traveling with dogs, note that their rules do not allow the dog to be left unattended in the unit or to be on furniture/bed. They have doggy beds and water/food bowls for dogs if you need them. The units look exactly like the listing photos. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. If you are coming in on a Sunday plan to bring some groceries with you as there are not grocery stores or restaurants open nearby. I’d recommend going to Salto for a glass of wine and a stroll across the border to Portugal. This spot is also a great home base if you are looking to hike to the Dolmens or stargaze at the lookout for Berrocal de la Data. Thank you again for your hospitality. This was a wonderful stay.

Adorámos a estadia nas casas da Fontanheira, sem qualquer dúvida dou 5 estrelas. A casa tem todas as condições para um casal com 2 filhos, muito espaçosa, moderna e muito bem decorada. As minhas filhas dizem que foi a casa mais "fixe" onde ficaram, adoraram! Mas atenção para quem tem filhos mais pequenos, que o acesso à mezzanine pode ser um pouco perigoso, pois as escadas não têm proteção lateral, o que para nós não foi problema, pois as minhas filhas já são mais crescidas. Ficámos na casa mais afastada da piscina, que tem uma vista deslumbrante para a montanha (não sei se a casa do lado também terá). Ótima casa para desligar do stress do dia-a-dia e recarregar baterias no meio da natureza.

We were 2 couples staying in this lovely spacious home within the walls of Marvao. Loved being able to explore the castle and its walls simply by exiting the house. Driving the streets can be very challenging but if you are a skilled driver it can be done, otherwise, immediately after entering the castle wall, stop in front of the tourist office and carry luggage up the stairs the lead you directly to the house. Then park in the public car park. The house has many bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and functional kitchen. Highly recommend this home for your Marvao stay!!!

Lovely stay at Casa Serra São Mamede. The house is about a 10-15 min walk (depending on your walking pace) to the centre of the village. Casa Serra São Mamede was as described; spacious inside and outside, with the amenities required for a comfortable stay, with parking at the house (there's also parking spaces not far from the house as well). The location was great for embarking on the PR3 PTG Alegrete circular walking path (about 4 hour hike) as the starting point is close to the house. Where the house is located is peaceful with the sound of the nearby stream. Check-in was a breeze and Jéssica was very responsive and helpful. We was running late in terms of check out, and when we informed Jéssica, she kindly extended checkout time time at short notice; thank you! Would definitely recommend Casa Serra São Mamede!

Adoraríamos voltar, até porque não queríamos sair. A casa é muito bonita, decorada com muito bom gosto, muito bem equipada e está num sítio espectacular! Há muito para fazer à volta (a televisão nem sequer foi ligada),desde passear na natureza (cuidado com as carraças), a visitar vilas lindas que existem à volta. Um sítio perfeito para férias activas, ou ficar a descansar com um belo copo de vinho (ou chá) e pôr a leitura em dia enquanto à noite pode ficar a ver as estrelas.

Incrível! Anfitriões muito atenciosos desde o início, instruções esclarecedoras e bastantes sugestões dadas para lazer e restauração nas redondezas. A casa é um encanto, decorada com muito bom gosto e muito bem equipada. Os diferentes recantos do espaço permitiram-nos usufruir da experiência de uma forma muito agradável (pequeno-almoço no deck, fim de tarde no mini miradouro, e noite com lareira e uns jogos de tabuleiro) A nossa estadia foi muito curta desta vez, mas pretendemos regressar!
