Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Santos-o-Velho

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

Parfait pour un voyage en famille avec 3 chambres et une très belle surprise avec une mezzanine très lumineuse afin de profiter de bon moment, cela permet aussi d’avoir un coin TV pour ceux qui le souhaite. Petit piscine agréable mais non chauffé à prendre en considération. 2 salles d’eau très agréable en famille et un chambre un peu séparée pour les enfants. Très bon accueil et conseil de la propriétaire. Proche de Sintra et de l’océan avec une vraie tranquillité. Je recommande

Great place. Close to the ferry station, bakeries and markets nearby, amazing views of Lisbon. The house had everything we needed; the host provided the kitchen and bathroom essentials. We felt right at home. One little issue, the beds were not very comfortable.

Wonderful place. Super cute inside and out. Great location central to Sintra.

L’appartamento è ubicato in una posizione molto tranquilla di Sintra ed è equipaggiato di tutto ciò che occorre per il soggiorno degli ospiti. Molto comodo il parcheggio privato proprio di fronte all’ingresso. Patricia è una persona davvero socievole e disponibile e ci accolto con molto calore. Davvero una bella esperienza ☺️

Casinha muito acolhedora e tradicional, com todas as comodidades para uns dias de descanso. Próximo de tudo, mas longe da confusão do centro. Estacionamento gratuito na rua. A Alexandra foi muito atenciosa e deu boas dicas sobre as redondezas.

João's flat was perfect for our needs. 5 of us stayed here and there were 2 double beds and 3 singles. I had worries that the flat was too far from the main town center near the river but it was really close to Sao Sebastiao metro station, and just a €7 taxi away on the one day we got one (although weekends may be different story!) The flat is really spacious and the building easy to access on the ground floor and quiet. Decor is pretty tired but we werent there to stay indoors much. No air con could have been a problem if it was hotter but we went in about 23 degrees and no problems. You can hear planes going over if you have windows open, but it was really minimal as double glazing all throughout. Outside space was ok but really just good for smokers or to hang washing. Key boxes provided made it really easy to check in and João earns his Superhost title with how quick and clear he was to respond to everything, which wasnt much as he made it easy. Un séjour parfait. Maison très propre identique aux photos, située dans un quartier très calme et proche des plages. Parfait pour un WE prolongé ou même une semaine de vacances. Les prestations proposées sont excellentes. Accueil très chaleureux, je recommande.

A Perfect Stay in Amora, Portugal! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house in Amora was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly welcoming. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special—starting with the thoughtful welcome basket filled with local treats and essentials. Such a lovely touch! One of our favorite parts of the stay was the pool. It was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also really appreciated the owner’s local recommendations—every spot they suggested was a hit, from charming cafes to hidden gems in the area. Thanks to their guidance, we discovered a nearby beach frequented mostly by locals—and it was absolute paradise. Quiet, stunning, and totally unspoiled. It made our trip even more magical. This rental truly felt like a home away from home. Cozy, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. We can’t wait to come back!

Prez est un excellent hôte. Il a pris le temps de bien nous expliquer le logement et nous donné une multitude de recommandations locales et touristiques. Nous avons aussi adoré la piscine pour les journée chaude. Tranquille avec beaucoup de chaise et très refraichissante Un peu plus éloigné du centre mais seulement à 20 min à pied de l’arrêt des bus touristique. Je recommande à tous !

Very well designed place .. it’s a very quiet and private newly renovated house .. someone put a lot of thought into the architecture and design of every detail .. agent was very easy to communicate with .. everything was perfect

This place was absolutely amazing. The pool was such a refreshing touch, the location was close to so many restaurants, the beds were comfy, plenty of towels and linens, nice shower with body wash/conditioner/lotion/etc. The neighbours were also kind & recommended some spots for us to see. The hosts also left us some AWESOME GOAT CHEESE with crackers — thank you!!! We devoured the cheese. Would 100% recommend this place.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in de woning van Lenita. Het is een mooie plek om een aantal nachten door te brengen. Er zijn mooie stranden en leuke restaurantjes in de omgeving, de supermarkt ligt om de hoek. De tuin is een rustige en groene oase midden in een stedelijke omgeving, heel bijzonder.

Rafael foi muito prestativo e atencioso, atendeu todos os pedidos de ajuda, indicou espaços ao redor para refeição logo a nossa chega e a coisa mais marcante foi nos permitir ter um late check out, até a hora bem próxima ao nosso voo, que foi no turno da noite. Ficaremos eternamente grato pois não sabíamos aonde ficar para aguardar o voo. Recomendo

A estadia foi excelente! O local é tranquilo, agradável, limpo e muito bonito, ideal para descansar. A hóspede foi extremamente educada e solícita durante toda a experiência. Recomendo com certeza e voltaria outras vezes!

Tudo correu bem na minha estadia, desde o momento do check in. O espaço extremamente limpo, amplo, organizado e super ventilado. Tinha todos os itens necessários de cozinha, banho e lavanderia. Vizinhança tranquila. Recomendo fortemente esse local.

L'appartamento di Heloiza ha un grande fascino perché è perfettamente incastonato nel quartiere della Baixa, intonato all'architettura pombalina. Vista eccezionale fino alle acque del Tago, dettagli di arredo sapientemente accostati; e non ultimo letti comodi. Avrei gradito uno spazio doccia più confortevole, ma tenuto conto della natura storica dell'alloggio è accettabile. consigliatissimo

Very happy with my stay. Very comfortable and had everything I needed for my six night stay. The local park was my favourite place. Not so keen on the steep roads but there is good public transport so no need to walk. Local construction was very noisy but that tends to happen with city stays. Not hosts fault. Only notice during the day if you are home based. Lourenco replied to my messages promptly and also checked in to see if everything was ok. My main tip would be avoid airport taxi as I was charged 48 euros for a 20 minute trip. The Uber on return was 14 euros. Download the Uber or Bolt app straight away. Over all I was delighted with the apartment. Nice little balcony to sit in the morning and evening when slightly cooler. Bed super comfortable. Sofa also very comfortable. I didn’t use the little work space hit it looked adequate for needs.

This Airbnb exceeded all expectations! Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making everything feel effortless. Every detail was thoughtfully curated — from the cozy linens to the local recommendations. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier experience!

This apartment was very comfortable, and easy to use. The building is full of other rentals, so it has a smooth entry and usually someone in the lobby to provide information. When we arrived, the dryer did not work, but Sinan fairly quickly got someone over to fix it. For me, the location was a bit more in the tourist zone than I like, so there were usually lots of people around. But it was in the middle of many attractions, and there was always an Uber nearby. The Time Out market is walkable and the Familjen restaurant a bit further away is Highly recommend. We never felt unsafe. I would have liked some insider sightseeing and restaurant recommendations, and transit tips in the apartment manual, like most other Airbnb's. But with the internet, maybe that's no longer necessary. There was a nice bottle of wine on the table when we arrived, and we enjoyed drinking it on the balcony in the evening.

Fabio was a great host and his place was lovely. It was close to plenty of restaurants and bars. It is a short (hilly) walk to a metro station. The apartment had everything we needed in a peaceful neighbourhood.

This apartment is a gem. I will miss getting up in the morning and watching the sun rise from the balcony, overlooking the city and the river. The park in front of the house is a little piece of heaven. I went for a walk there every morning. Don’t miss the basilica de Estrela on the other side of the park, it’s gorgeous and you can go up to the rooftop - with a beautiful view! The restaurants and wine bars around the corner are awesome - great wines and options for plant based meals too :) Hugo and Renata are amazing hosts, they did everything to make me (and my cats) feel comfortable. The apartment is like in the pictures, even more spacious than I expected. If you want an authentic, epic Lisbon experience this is definitely the place to be.

This place is so beautiful and comfortable!Walking distance to so many amazing bars/cafes/restaurants/local designer and vintage shops. Beautiful lookout over the city is only 1 minute walk away. Everything in the house was clean and functional, very well equipped (soda stream, coffee machine, dishwasher, washer/drier etc.) it’s also so bright and open! We loved our stay and would definitely come back.
