House holiday rentals in Santo Isidoro

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Wir waren mit Freunden da und das Haus war perfekt dafür geeignet. Der große Essbereich, die vielen Schlafzimmer und der einmalige Pool mit Blick bis zum Meer haben uns überzeugt. Für besondere Anlässe kann man seit neuestem eine Art Wintergarten dazu mieten, der riesig ist und zum Verweilen im Garten einlädt, auch bei niedrigeren Temperaturen. Die Zufahrt mit einem Camper ist etwas eng, sobald es Gegenverkehr gibt. Wir waren zunächst auch etwas verunsichert, weil es ein Durchfahrts-Verboten Schild für Wohnmobilen gibt. António hat uns dann abgeholt und uns alles gezeigt. Er war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar und wir durften unseren Camper mit Strom und Wasser befüllen.

Everything was great, we had a really nice and peaceful stay. There seems to be a quarry not far and it made some noise but not too much. And in the evening there was an event nearby with loud music that was a bit disturbing. I don’t know if it’s a regular thing.

Esta casa é um paraíso mesmo ao lado de Lisboa! Passei três dias neste lugar com os meus amigos e é consensual que é a nossa casa de sonho. Todos moramos em Lisboa e podíamos ter pensado que não valia a pena alugar uma casa a 40 minutos de distâncias mas, sem sombra de dúvida, foi a melhor decisão que tomámos! A casa vale só por si, pois tem uma vista fantástica, rodeada de natureza, no cimo de um vale, e uma piscina maravilhosa, com vista directa para o pôr do sol. A luz dourada deixa saudade! Também aproveitámos as praias Palmela e Sesimbra, que se destacam pela água turquesa e pela vegetação em volta. Quem me dera passar mais tempo neste alojamento! É dos lugares mais bonitos onde já estive. A casa em si é confortável e bem equipada e a Annemie é uma pessoa super acessível e muito simpática! E adorámos a gatinha Tigra, é muito doce. Sinto-me sortuda por este fim-de-semana neste lugar mágico.

This was our second visit and Alice was as friendly, welcoming and hospitable as ever. The house is spotless, well equipped and comfortable with superb facilities across the site. The pool was fantastic, the locality quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be returning again.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit. Das Haus ist genau wie auf den Fotos und bietet alles was man Brauch. Die offene Küche und der kleine Pool mit den Hängematten im Hof waren das absolute Highlight. Wenn ich mir ein kleines Ferienhaus bauen würde, dann würde es genau so aussehen. 🫶🏼 François war ein toller Gastgeber, der uns sogar mit Wein und leckerem Käse begrüßt hat. Wir kommen gerne immer wieder.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Ribamar chez Filipa… La maison est parfaite et très bien décorée avec 2 grandes chambres et 2 salles de bains. Filipa sait se rendre disponible et réactive … Moderne et avec un extérieur ou l’on peut déjeuner et un 2eme extérieur ou profiter d’un moment de détente en soirée Ribamar a su garder son authenticité Nous recommandons le logement de Filipa et les environs avec Ericeira et ses surfeurs entre autres Nous y retournerons avec plaisir 😉 Cristina

Het verblijf bij Vladimir was in één woord geweldig! Het huis ligt prachtig met uitzicht op zee, en dichtbij prachtige stranden met heerlijke restaurantjes… Het huis was prachtig ingericht, super luxe en alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig!! Er is werkelijk aan alles gedacht…. Het zwembad is prachtig en heel schoon, helaas was het nog een beetje te koud voor ons. De communicatie met Vladimir was zeer goed! Nogmaals top huis op een top locatie in het super leuke surf paradijs Ericeira

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het huis van Dinis. Zeer prettig ontvangst en uistekende communciatie. De ligging van het huis is erg bijzonder met fantastisch uitzicht. We zijn 4 nachten verbleven en hebben genoten van alles wat de omgeving te bieden heeft. We hebben fantastische hikes gemaakt vanuit het huis naar Cabo de Roca. Wel een uitdagende hike met vele hoogtemeters met mooie uitzichten en stranden, zoals Praia da Ursa. Ook een hike naar het noorden naar het strand Paria do Gribeto. Ook een fantastisch strand waar je je even alleen op de wereld voelt. De afdaling naar het strand is wel écht een uitdaging. Heerlijk gegeten bij het restaurant Azenhas do Mar - Piscinas op nog geen 400 meter van het huis. Daarnaast lekkere verse vis gehaald bij de lokale markt en die heerlijk gegrild op de BBQ. Kortom, we hebben mega genoten van de rust, ruimte en alle uitzichten.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Probably one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Patricia was extremely helpful for whatever is needed and very flexible with check in times. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Overall a fantastic experience

Wij hebben een zeer prettig verblijf gehad. Laura en Robin beide erg vriendelijke mensen! Een hele mooie en rustgevende omgeving, een mooie onderhouden tuin met zwembad en ontzettend gezellig met de kippen die om je heen dwarrelen. Binnen is alles zeer netjes en goed onderhouden, het 1.40 bed is alleen wat knus met zijn tweeën. We hadden moeite om de plek achter te laten en door te gaan naar de volgende plek, dit is een groot compliment naar jullie :)

Fantastic place to stay, especially if you're a beach lover or surfer. The house is in a quiet location with panoramic views. Beautiful. The house is close to the gorgeous Calada beach which has a lovely cafe on the beach for coffee, snacks, light bites and drinks. The house is close to Ericeira, Ribamar and Barril...all with lovely restaurants and all on the coast. The house itself is super. Its very modern with all amenities you would ever need for your stay. It even comes with board games. The house is super clean. It was lovely to have a bathroom for each of us during our stay. Maria is a super host. She has been so responsive and helpful with recommendations for everything you ask for. She is very friendly. I would recommend this place to family and friends and hopefully we will get to come back some day. Thanks Maria

Casa do Forno at Quinta Velha is simply wonderful. It is beautiful and private, with fantastic views. Every morning for breakfast, we sat outside and looked up at the Moorish castle. The place was spotlessly, clean and beautifully furnished. It was a wonderful getaway from the crowds at Sintra. The bed was very comfortable and our host furnished everything we needed. Ines is a truly great host. She not only helped us with dinner reservations, but also told us all about the fascinating history of her property. It is one of the nicest Airbnbs that we have stayed at. I would definitely return if I come to Portugal again!

Joana's place was clean, quiet, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The sunsets were amazing! It was easy to get to the center of Ericiera, as well as other parts of the area. The drive to Lisbon was reasonable, but you have to deal with the traffic. The house is spacious, and has a very well equipped kitchen. The only thing that bothered us is that the neighbors in the house just next door had a little dog that barked on and off. It was not a problem during the day, since we were rarely home. But occasionally, it would bark at night for several minutes at a time, and that was annoying. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful stay and made to feel extremely welcome by Maria. I would 100% recommend and look forward to staying again next time I am in Ericeira.

Wonderful family stay, Carolina was attentive and helpful, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our baby too. We felt right at home, we didn’t want to leave!

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

It was our best experience with Airbnb by far. Everything was just perfect: amazing views, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the sound and smell of the sea felt like the best feeling in the world! The host was super responsive, helpful and provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. We had such a lovely stay over the month we stayed here. Felt completely at home. The house was so clean, comfortable and had everything one could need. The backyard, pool, and pool room made our stay extra luxurious. Working remotely was easy with a strong wifi connection and a proper office to work from. Lina was so kind, welcoming, and responsive. Any questions we had, she was quick to respond. The house is in a beautiful area, close to some great towns, epic surf, and beautiful vineyards. A great place to stay whether family, friends, or couples.

What a beautiful home! The pictures don’t do it justice. The pool is gorgeous, the view is so beautiful and the kitchen was great. I am American and having a full sized American refrigerator as well as a second fridge and so many bathrooms (and laundry) was amazing. We drove down the street to the local town of Ericiera where they had a beautiful beach, tons of restaurants (including McDonalds) and a big grocery store that sold EVERYTHING (looks like Target). Kristina was responsive and so nice! The airline lost our luggage and she lent us some of her own kids’ clothing to hold over until we worked it out. Great stay, would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Franz and Kim's home in Ericeira! The living room was very comfortable and the whole house had such a cozy, beachy vibe! It took us about 7-10 minutes to walk to most restaurants in central Ericeira. Praia do Norte and Pescadores were an easy walk as well. We discovered Praia do Lizandro the last few days and that became our favorite beach. I will note that the backyard being fairly central, is not very private. There are several homes that look down upon the pool area and many of them have dogs who did bark some. This was a small price to pay for being so close to town, having a private pool, a great deck with outdoor dining table and recliners and a newer home with modern appliances! We would absolutely stay here again next time we visit Ericeira! My teens favorite Airbnb in Portugal so far!
