House holiday rentals in Santiago do Cacém

We had a great two weeks staying here. The house is even better than it looks in the photos. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it is very peaceful, and has lovely views in every direction. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and cooking was a real pleasure. The rest of the house is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. There are lots of equally comfortable outside areas where you can eat, or sit and read, and the heated pool is fantastic (our daughter loved it). It is possible to walk to a bar/restaurant in about 40 minutes, and the nearest town which has some excellent (and very cheap) places to eat is only 5 minutes' drive. The house is also perfectly positioned to get to the coast - Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes are about 20 minutes' drive. We absolutely loved staying here, and we cannot wait to come back.

Casa Calmar is a unique place to stay. Every detail is very thoughtful & the whole accommodation has really high quality. The outside area, the view & pool are super nice. Simone is super friendly & helpful. Would definitely come back.

The farm and houses are wonderful! Beautiful rural nature all around, Sunsets are delicious, very peaceful, and pleasant as the hosts are. Noah and his family are very kind and helpful. Had the best time!

Very nice house, far from everything. Perfect for resting in peaceful surroundings. The house is brand new and easy to live with everything you need. Just like the house renovated with great taste, the pool is superb and very pleasant to sunbathe and take a dip. Highly recommend this place! It was exactly what we needed for a friends’ trip; everyone had their own bedroom with a bathroom, kitchenette and balcony! The location is amazing — rural, quiet, beautiful — but only 40 mins away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. The hosts were so friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. I’d book again in a heartbeat!

From the moment I arrived, I felt at home, welcomed, and comfortable. The impeccable cleanliness, quality mattress, sheets, and towels were exceptional, details that are often overlooked in many places. Little touches like these make the stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the bottle of local wine, cheese, and freshly baked bread offered to me upon arrival were a lovely gesture. The ambiance of the place left me with a feeling of tranquility and well-being. I appreciate the good taste and additional amenities, such as the keyboard and mouse next to the flat-screen TV, which made it possible for me to work remotely optimally. What a nice house! The garden with pool is lovely, but also all other areas in the house are both user-friendly and very nicely decorated and clean. The area very quiet, but if you have done good shopping in advance, there is no reason to leave the house and have a wonderful time there!

excellent place to relax and to feel the nature

Clean, comfortable, spacious home with a nice balcony. Had everything I needed, I felt very at home.

The house was so charming and comfortable. So much nicer in person than the pictures portray. It was always a delight to come back home to this cosy little refuge. We were weather beaten after days at various stunning beaches, so coming back to the oasis of a garden and comfortable house was a delight each day. Proper furniture, to relax in, unlike some other stays, plus the house was fitted out with everything you could / would need. A real home from home. Handy amount of land in addition to the garden on the property, so our dog was happy and had plenty of room to explore, shelter and relax. The bakery in the village supplies the most amazing cakes/ treats / delights. I’d recommend anyone staying to stock up from there! Ines was super helpful and flexible. We arrived early and she was incredibly accommodating. Lots of help to find the dog friendly beaches too, so that was great. We loved this little house and it’s high timber ceilings. Beautiful house, very well maintained, decorated with elegant taste and quality furniture, fully equipped with excellent towels and pottery. Amazing view into landscape, perfect pool. Only the sound of nature but 30 min from best beaches. Host is very friendly and response immediately. A little paradise.

The house is furnished with great attention to detail and extremely coherently. Real Comopta style. ☺️We felt very comfortable. The landlady was always available and very accommodating.

We enormously enjoyed our 5 days in this very charming house in the middle of Santiago do Cacem‘s historic centre. A great location to visit several beautiful beaches (about 20 minutes by car) or enjoy the peaceful hinterland and its cork forests. The house is very well equipped and tastefully furnished. The little yard is great for outdoor dinners. Filipa is a very kind, friendly and helpful host.

The Casinha on the Lagoa is a small place with everything you need, just a few steps from the lagoon and the beach. It was very nice to spend the last two days of our trip to Portugal in this accommodation. Isabel was away for work but communication with her was very simple and Mr. Jaime was always present and very kind under all circumstances. I recommend the place to anyone looking for peace of mind and hope to get back to the casinha again!

Had wonderful days in the Alentejo with our family. Beautiful setting! Just the sound of sheep, birds, horses and dogs. Licinia is a really friendly hostess who welcomes you. She also has tips for the surroundings. Beautiful beaches of the Alentejo. A car is a must! We enjoyed it!

Our stay was great. The hosts were very attentive to our needs. The area is very quiet, which we value a lot. The house was cool and very comfortable. The place is accurate, ideal for getting away and relaxing as a family. Nearby places to eat well and supermarkets a few minutes away by car. Beaches nearby. Nature live. We were pleasantly surprised. We hope to repeat it if the circumstances allow us to do so.

All great! Quiet location and private space, shady places. Piscina could be a little larger but overall 5 stars, very good for groups.

Vitor is one the best host ever, the house has positive vibes, everything was just on top, and you have the calmest house while you have access to all services with feet only. And some of Portugal's most beautiful beaches are just a half-hour's drive away. Thanks for these 5 weeks of pure happiness!

Spacious house for 8 people, beautiful and simple decor. Well-equipped house with all amenities. Location half an hour from the beaches, but with easy access and very quiet place. There is only one bathroom and since there were 8 of us we felt it would be nice to have another. We recommend this place!

we loved our stay with Luis. Luis is a very welcoming person, available and attentive. We enjoyed the sweets that awaited us when we arrived, even a thought for children with a fruit juice. the house has everything you need and is very nice. It's nice not to have to carry bed linen and towels. In addition, Luis was good tips for restaurants and areas to visit. We will keep this address for our next stay in Alentejo! muito obrigado!
