The stay at Norma's great house, her sister Valía and her super attentive and friendly mother, the exquisite breakfast! The room and the house super clean, very quiet the area, the light does not go, we did not suffer from the blackouts for a moment!!! The room has air, hot water, we had been put bottled water in the room fridge and the truth is that super the stay, we will surely repeat, we felt right at home.

Hostal Bellamar 3 Bedrooms

Joel's terrace has a great panoramic view of the harbor and city. A perfect palce to being and end the day. I rented his casa becasue of the view and was not disappointed. The accommodations are basic so don't expect luxury. The casa is very clean. Joel is a GREAT guy and will do anything to help you. The main square is a short walk away.

Los Medicos Garden

Isabel and Danilo are very helpful hosts, tremendously kind and conversable - in sum tremendous👍🏾. After almost 3 weeks I felt at home, Isabel made me chicken soup when I was sick, Danilo put the car in the garajito. And they always had time for a chat.😄 The house is close to the historic center, the house of La Trova, the Alameda also the rum museum. There are bars and restaurants near the house (Calle Calvario, Santo Tomás). It's a quiet house and I liked reading my Leonardo Padura novel in the courtyard in the courtyard on the floors. Isabel offers a tasty and delicious breakfast, also on the patio.😋

Nicolaus house room for two person , special offer

Very kind, both she and her sister and niece. They also had a nice touch, which was that they gave you free coffee on the terrace, the great terrace, to chat, either with them, or with your companions. It is very well located, very close to Ferreiro, and a 10 or 12 minute walk from Plaza de Marte. Nearby you have restaurants, pubs, etc. Restaurants like "El Lindon" or "Club Led" are highly recommended, although I repeat, there are more in the area.

All the host families are very friendly and very kind. They also personally consulted us about the access to the Balacoa and solved it. And the breakfast on the terrace of the historic building was the best. I recommend you with confidence!

Rancho Oliva

It was our best experience during the trip. The charming family that runs the place made us feel at home at once. They gave us all needed info (in petfect english) about the area. Helped with the neighbours to arrange trips in the area (beach, river, mountains, countryside with coffee and other plantations. We were taken by motorbikes, horse cart, huge camion, old chevrolet - great adventures. We where able to experience "real Cuba" with the best guides. The ladies are real wizards, being able to create decent meals in the very poor kingdom. Two shy little ferries bathed us with cheers and blossoms. We could have some "talks" with very friendly animals, dogs and horses, looking happy and well treated. Lush garden, meals on verrandah visited by kolibri and lizzards. We relaxed well in this beautiful, peaceful place, and we wished to have more time to spend with those lovely people. P.S. Just have in mind, that while the two new rooms are great, the third one is very simple.
