The villas were perfect for our family to have space and spend quality time together. Everything was very close and easy to find. The pools were very relaxing and perfect for bird watching.

Our family had a great stay at Vanilla Hills. Claudia was so helpful in booking excursions and transportation. We didn’t rent a car and found it easy to get taxis to and from the resort into town. The restaurant was amazing and the staff was very accommodating with our 5 year old daughters special menu requests. We loved the tranquility and would definitely stay here again if we return to San Ignacio.

A small cottage in the countryside. Was a very good stay. Christophe was always quick to respond and gave cool tips and challenges. Unfortunately, the Welan does not work in the house. Outside the home it works. But it was still very worth it.

WOW!! If you’ve come across Jay’s place all I can say is “just book it!” The pictures don’t do it justice, this place is paradise on earth. We brought our family of six and enjoyed everything the Sanctuary had to offer. Jay is a 5 star host and walked us through every question we had! He was easily accessible and his staff were lovely! If you’re an avid kayaker, I would highly recommend asking Jay about his route down the Mopan River. It’s definitely not a beginner ride, but we made memories that we will never forget!!! We booked it for the water slide initially, but we got SO much more!! The local town is incredible. Friendly locals and great food. The Mayan temples are close by and a one of a kind experience. If you’re looking for authentic Belize and adventure this is your spot!

We had a wonderful stay. We were a family of 6 including 4 adults, a teenager and a toddler under two. Daniel’s place was gorgeous, gated, squeaky clean and even had a crib and high chair which was a dream for travelling with a toddler. Check in and outs were super easy and Daniel was super responsive to any questions or concerns. We let him know the toaster wasn’t working properly and a new one was on our doorstep by the time we arrived at the end of the same day. The pool was right outside the back door and we used it almost every day. It was super close to the local market and a great restaurant just down the road. Don’t pass this one up if you’re staying in the Belmopan area.

This little blue house sits right in the jungle. Slightly from the rest of the lodge cabanas by the veggie garden and only few steps to the swimming pool. It feels very private, peaceful simple and comfortable. From its terrace u can observe surrounding nature while sipping a tea. U can decide to cook for ureself or explore the restaurant menus. The lodge offers a spa, a sauna, plenty of games ond can arrange any tour y may think of and there is a lot of amaz g sites to visit around such as rio on pools, big rock, etc. They truly take care of you as if u were their best friends visiting and we felt right at home at Mariposa. We came with a family of friends from Placencia and as always enjoy the beauty of the place, the kindness of the staff and the delicious meals ! We keep returning here any time we go to Cayo.

Peace. That’s the feeling I had when I arrived here. In fact, I got emotional when we pulled up because the whole property took my breath away. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Catherine was so kind and such a pleasure to communicate with.

This was our second time staying at this property and it is the best in the Belmopan area by far. Oskar is friendly, communicative, and very customer oriented. We did not experience any WiFi issues as other reviews have noted. Everything in the property is clean, neat and organized. The pool is an extra bonus during warm weather months. I highly recommend this property for anyone traveling to this area.

Jungle vibes, banana muffins, and fascinating stories! We had a fantastic stay at Dalena and Steve’s San Ignacio, Belize home! The stylish jungle-themed interior was cozy and well-equipped, with plenty of hot water, clean bedding, fresh towels, and even banana muffins in the morning. We also loved hearing their fascinating stories about biology, ecology, and the creation of the Museum of Natural History in Belize. Dalena provides a comprehensive guide to local dining, adventure and cultural tours, taxi services, and more. The house is only a 15-minute walk from coffee shops, restaurants, and tour offices. At night, we enjoyed walking a few blocks to the local grocery store for carbonated water before heading to bed. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend their place to anyone visiting Belize! Thanks, Dalena and Steve!

We all loved the place , place was very clean , cozy , honestly felt like home , we would definitely do it all over again , lovely quiet , tranquil place .

I came to stay at Luis' place with my husband and our three daughters during the second COVID wave in Belize. We stayed for a full month and Luis was extremely accomodating. Responded quickly to any concerns my husband had and was SO NICE when we had to tell him about a few plates and cups we had broken (over a month teenagers get clumsy!) The air conditioners work great. The kitchen has everything you need. We went on several large grocery runs but stayed locked down in the house most of the time. Some time away was just what we needed during this crisis and considering how much cheaper groceries and vegetables are in San Ignacio, compared to our home in Placencia, we actually SAVED money going on this trip. Thank you for everything, Luis! We will see you again!

Lovely house & stay! This home was perfect and suitable for our 9 person family. We stayed for 2 weeks & this home was very spacious and catered to all our needs. It’s located in a nice area in town and is convenient to get to local spots either by car or even walking. Everyone in the community was super friendly and helpful as well. We cannot recommend this house enough & will definitely be back in the future!

Honored to be Maria's first stay for my family of 5 total and 1st visit to Belize. Great place to 'stretch-out' in several rooms, cook, do laundry. East walk to a few restaurants ... and a very short drive to maintown San Ignacio. Maria's secret talent is she also works at tour agency and provided amazing (free) tips that saved us time and effort ... she was a 'one-stop shop' with thoughtful touches during our stay.

Great Place! I left my car light on and the host sent me someone over to give my battery a jump start! Very helpful and kind.

We stayed in Las Haciendas Villa #4 and had a wonderful time with our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 teens.) Customer service by Laura and Leda were superb. They were very communicative, accommodating, and responded to us Airbnb Messages within 20 minutes and in within 5 minutes in-person when we had a request on site. Check-in and getting into/out of the courtyard gate and the unit itself were very easy. The kitchen was well-stocked with all food prep and cooking utensils, along with a 5 gallon container of purified water that we used to refill our water bottles throughout our stay. Had we known that was available, we would have not bought the cases of water at New Flags Market. The bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine. I'm very picky when it comes to cleanliness and I felt at peace in this villa. The beds (2 queens in 1 room, 1 king in the other) were comfortable, the decor modern and stylish, and the rooftop pool was clean and offered a great view of the city to relax in the evenings!

Maddiely was a wonderful host. She was very responsive. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The yard is beautiful and the clothesline was perfect for hanging wet clothes after our ATM tour. The only thing to note is that the neighbors have roosters that crow through the night. We felt right at home with the locals.

This place is so beautiful with lots of space for a big group and amazing views! A walkable cave and waterfall is a must if you stay in the area!!

We absolutely loved Las Haciendas. My family of 12 rented the entire compound, and everyone had plenty of space. The team there was always responsive and helpful day or night. You could always contact them for help with taxis, food delivery, and questions. Replies were back in minutes. They were also a massive help in setting up all our group's activities during our stay. The tour operators were all great. All units were decorated to a high standard. There was a beautiful view from the 2-bedroom units top floor pool areas. The area is not really walkable to anything except a local grocery store. However, the ease of getting taxis mitigated that issue. We would stay again.

We had a great stay, was one of the best looking places in San Ignacio and even then exceeded expectations. The rooms were the cleanest we found in 10 days in Belize and the back porch/hammock area was a great communal space.

This was a beautiful place to stay. Everything was perfect and the place was spotless. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that is staying in the area.

We will be booking this air bnb next time we come back to Belize. We didn't want to leave. The beautiful greenbelt of jungle behind the Villa offered us amazing wildlife viewing when we drank our morning coffee, when we took a dip in the pool, and when we ate our fresh cooked dinners outside. The backyard is really full of Tucans, Parrots, and Kinkajous! The kitchen is beautiful and perfectly set up for a home chef. We loved using the soundbar to wind down with our own music at night. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing too. The host has thought of everything. If you crave a private villa in a beautiful setting, this place is for you.
