Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Santa Croce, Venice

Pamela’s Airbnb was perfect for our mother-daughter trip to Venice! The location couldn’t have been better, just steps from charming cafes, beautiful canals, and all the sights we wanted to explore. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and felt incredibly safe and welcoming. Pamela was a kind and thoughtful host, ensuring we had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We made wonderful memories here and would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful view and right next to Farragona water/boat taxi. The hostess was wonderful- flexible with our check-in/out. Easy to communicate. The apartment is spacious and clean. We always felt safe. It is a more quiet area and that was just what I was hoping - peaceful and relaxing.

Chiara hat immer schnell geantwortet und ich war mir schon vor der Reise sicher, dass alles klappen wird. Sie hat uns herzlich empfangen und die Lage war nett und in der Nähe der Vaporetto-Station. Nachts war es schön ruhig, außerdem war es sauber. Es gab eine Bialetti, guten Kaffee, Toaster, alles prima.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans le logement proposé par Lucia, très bel emplacement, entre un magnifique jardin et un canal pittoresque. Nous avons eu tout le nécessaire, tout est bien pensé et décoré, extrêmement propre, un mélange d'ancien et moderne à notre goût !

L’alloggio di Beatrice è un piccolo gioiello nascosto in una zona residenziale di Venezia. Oltre il muro d’ingresso si cela un bel cortiletto da cui si accede all’appartamento, un grazioso bilocale molto pulito, con una cucina molto fornita e una camera da letto molto spaziosa. Beatrice, oltre ad averci fatto trovare prodotti per la colazione, ci ha accompagnati personalmente all’appartamento e ci ha dato molti consigli su locali della zona e su come muoverci in città. Assolutamente consigliato!

This stay makes 5 weeks we have spent in this Airbnb. I can honestly say there is nothing I would change about it. Everything you could need is provided and everything works like a charm. Die Unterkunft war einfach zu finden, der Check in problemlos. Die Lage ist sehr gut, etwas ruhiger abseits aber nur 10 Minuten von den Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, es gibt nette Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Den Kindern (11 und 13) hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt un kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent communication with the host. Chiara provided lots of recommendations on what to do and where to eat without me asking. Shout out also to Julia who helped us during checkin and checkout and called me immediately to let me know that I have left my shoulder bag with some valuables!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt in einem sehr schönen, charmanten Appartement in einem schönen ruhigen Wohnquartier in einem noch lebendigen Viertel von Venedig. Super gut gelegen. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber!

Letizia’s apartment was perfect. Tucked away in a quiet spot but minutes away from transport and tourist spots. It was tastefully decorated and well thought out with a well equipped kitchen. The tiny terrace was perfect for sitting out and watching the swallows fly past in the evening. The bed was large and comfortable and there was plenty of space for clothes. Would definitely recommend and we may well return.

Traudy's place was very comfy and clean. The house is exactly as seen in the pics, was very clean and had everything that we needed. The location of the house was also very good, close to good restaurants and away from the tourist crowd at the same time. Traudy is a very responsive and helpful host! I would recommend anyone to her house.

This place is in a great location, on a canal, very walkable to everything. We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip and one night at the end. It started to feel like home away from home. Maddalena was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Close to everything, but off the beaten path so the apartment was quiet and peaceful. Had everything we needed and more! The washer dryer and bathtub were definitely helpful!! Our only regret was that we had to leave! ❤️

当我们进入这个房间，简直震惊了，房子的样子，包括光线和照出来的感觉一模一样。天井下面来的灯光让整个房间都非常的亮堂，而且我们到达威尼斯的下午下了大暴雨，在房间里呆着非常舒服。做饭也非常方便。除此之外也非常感谢房主给我们提供了贴心的服务，让我们带着大箱子也能够自如的旅行。

Marco est très sympathique. Il répond très vite et est venu nous chercher à la station pour nous accompagner à l'appartement. Appartement simple, très bien situé, qui calme. Nous avons rencontré des soucis pour l'évacuation de nos sacs poubelles et Marco a été très compréhensif et aidant.

Very nice flat close to train station. I really enjoyed the flat design. Piero is a wonderful host, with a gentle behavior. Its flat has a very beautiful view and has all facilities for its guests 😍

Eine wirklich sehr schöne, ruhige und gemütliche Wohnung! ich habe mich sofort in die Murano-Lampen verliebt und in den Blick auf den Kanal und ins Grüne! ich fand es noch schöner als auf den Bildern.

Had a wonderful stay, was able to walk the city and enjoy everything Venice had to offer. Apartment was clean and bigger than expected.

We booked because another guest's review said "just go for it" and I would offer the same advice to others. We had a great time enjoying coffee & wine on the terrace while watching boat traffic on the Grand Canal. Although there are Vaporetto stops nearby, we walked almost everywhere we went and it was great to explore the neighborhood. For a quiet night in, stop by Fried Land (just around the corner) for excellent take-out pasta.

We had an amazing stay at Giovanni and Susannas apartment. The communication straight from the start was excellent. The instructions were clear and we managed to easily find the apartment and enter easily, even though we got there really late at night. The area is amazing, close enough to all of the must-sees in Venice, but lovely and quiet and feels much more authentic and local. There are fantastic restaurants just around the corner too! Thanks again! We will definitely stay again when we are back in Venice.

It's a lovely and homely place in the middle of a busy touristy city. Feels very authentic, not just an empty space. Real plants, not something purchased from the supermarket, that kind of thing. The balcony is a lovely extra. It's not quite as free of noise as some of the other reviews suggest, there is a lively street just around the corner and the activity is present by moment, and the street below is narrow and used by local people. However, it was never too much, and mainly just added to our pleasure of the place, a 'real feel' that is specific to the area. We were very well looked after, and if we had friends visiting Venice we would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely time at the apartment. Located a short walk from the train station and where the airport buses drop you off, this spot is located in a shaded pathway that offers privacy and quiet at night. It's clean and comfortable and pretty much everywhere in Venice is reachable by foot from it. I highly recommend it! Just make sure to have the Venice visitor fee in cash ready when you check-in.

We absolutely loved our stay at Olivia’s beautiful apartment in Venice. Everything was exactly as described — even better! Olivia is a wonderful, warm-hearted host who made us feel at home from the very first moment. We were greeted with a lovely welcome gift, and every detail in the apartment shows how much care she puts into making her guests feel comfortable. The rooftop terrace is simply stunning — the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine while soaking in the Venetian atmosphere. We also appreciated Olivia’s great local restaurant recommendations; we discovered some fantastic places away from the usual tourist crowds. The building itself has so much character and history — you truly feel like you’re living in old Venice, with authentic decor and a special charm you won’t find in modern hotels. In short: we felt completely at home and couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you, Olivia, for an unforgettable stay — we will definitely come back!
