the cabin & hiking

I have been to many Airbnb's around the world and there have been a handful that make me feel like heaven on earth. This is absolutely one of those places. The view is ASTOUNDING!! The home itself is so cool. The owners seem absolutely lovely as we got to meet them in person as they help you check in. The details they accounted for are impeccable. I would live here forever if I could. If you stay here, you will NOT be dissapointed. Sooo much to do in and around Jaco as well which is a relatively quick drive down the mountain. Rqncho Shadday, the restaurant very nearby this place is so nice as well. My family and I loved every single second of our stay here. Please also know the work they would have had to put into this place is immense to create the dreamy space they have. Absolutely loved the stay so very much!!! 20 out of 10 stay!!!

Luxury villa, private pool, 2 min from the beach

CourtneyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sure! Here’s a polished Airbnb review you can use: ⸻ We had a wonderful stay! The property is absolutely beautiful and looks exactly like the photos—peaceful, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. It’s in a remote area, which adds to the tranquility, but still close enough to Santa Teresa where you’ll likely spend most of your time. Just be aware that the roads in the area are all dirt and can be a bit rough, so make sure you have a car that can handle the terrain. Overall, a perfect blend of seclusion and access to everything you need. Would definitely stay again!

Beachfront 30m above - infinity pool - 180° views

MandyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at Villa Delfin was outstanding, we can’t recommend this place enough! The ocean views are gorgeous, especially the sunsets, from your own private infinity pool. The rooms were very comfortable for 2 couples and our baby. The A/C in the rooms kept us cool at night. The kitchen is really well equipped to cook - highly recommend using their chef for a night or two, she made amazing Nica meals for us to enjoy! Easy to walk to a few restaurants on the beach and you are right on Maderas surf beach to catch some epic waves. The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful - it’s also a nice touch having a Doctor on site. We can’t wait to come back to stay at Villas Playa Maderas again!

AsiaTica Lodge Volcano and Lake View

I’ve been traveling on with this app for well over a decade and this stay was by far one of my favorite stays on air b & b. Not only is the place immaculate, but the views are ridiculous and restaurants are just a couple mins away by walking. The butterfly conservatory is very close and I can’t even start to explain how beautiful breakfast was every morning. Can’t wait to come back!

Secret Bungalows Lechu (Bungalow 2)

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay in La Fortuna was absolutely magical. The cabin is tucked away in a beautifully landscaped paradise, full of vibrant birds, frogs, and lush greenery. Everything about the space felt romantic and peaceful—from the cozy, comfortable bed and cool A/C to the dreamy outdoor shower and stunning hot tub surrounded by nature. The thoughtful touches like snacks, wine, and personalized details made us feel so welcomed. Communication with the host was excellent, and the entire stay was quiet, private, and incredibly relaxing. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway!

Armadillo Cabin at "Encuentro" (Meeting)

WOW! We loved our stay!! The rolling hills of hydrangeas were absolutely gorgeous, and we enjoyed some lightning bugs and beautiful views of the city in the distance. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. We felt super safe and loved the little wood stove. The area is so fun too! Adrian had some great local recommendations for us. We hope to visit again soon!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ocean view DRIFT Glamping

FabianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic time in Magalies Dome and enjoyed spending two nights in this special accommodation. The view is truly magical, you can watch hummingbirds and other birds, watch the fireflies in the evening and listen to the howler monkeys in the morning. The pool was especially loved by our children. The kitchen is super equipped and it's fun to cook and eat with such a great backdrop. We also felt very comfortable in the dome. The bedding was extremely soft and high quality and also smelled good. The view from the bed is amazing. Our six-year-old daughter loved her bed upstairs under the dome. Just super cozy! For us, it was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in and a highlight of our Costa Rica tour.

Eden Deluxe Arenal, La Fortuna

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Stunning place where your only regret is that you didn’t book it for longer! Fernando was incredibly responsive with questions and requests and met us at the top of the road to greet us and show us in. The hot tub was a real treat after a 7 hour hike and we even had 2 frog visitors while we soaked our muscles - just be sure to ask Fernando to turn on the tub about 45 minutes before you arrive home so the water is comfortably toasty. Highly recommend ordering the breakfast, with coffee, local tropical fruit juice, and the fruit bowl. It’s delivered to your door with a smile at the time of your choosing and you can enjoy it on the porch while sighting many birds and butterflies. The metal roof was lovely during the rain and quick 10 minute drive into town was perfect for a coffee run, souvenir shopping, and nice dinner. I can’t recommend this place enough! You will be satisfied from check-in to check-out.
