Smoking friendly holiday rentals in San Giovanni La Punta

Amo La Sicilia!! The perfect apartment, for a perfect holiday. The location was spot on - just off Via Etnea; a few minutes walk from the sights of the city, supermarkets and a tube station (one stop from the train & bus station hub). The apartment itself was lovely and worked well for our family (young children) despite all the steps! Clean, not cluttered but nicely furnished and decorated and well stocked for self-catering. Neighbourhood was lively in an evening, lots of bars and restaurants, but it didn't impact our stay at all. Final shout out to Marco our check in and out host, who was friendly, polite, flexible and very helpful. Really appreciated his warm approach and communication. Would certainly recommend this apartment and host for people thinking about staying in Catania. Thank you for making our Sicilian holiday a family experience we won't ever forget!

We enjoyed staying at Paolo’s place. It felt like home with many personal touches and extra amenities. We especially enjoyed the terrace and the large hot shower. Paolo was an excellent host.

We had a wonderful time! Alessandra is an amazing host, always responsive, very kind and helpful. Flat was amazing, it had everything we needed and way more, and the location was very close to both the train station and the city center (cca 10min walk). Thank you Alessandra for everything! 🩷

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The house is divided by one door to make it easy to use air conditioning in half of the house and the other half without. Meaning that while family is sleeping in the bedrooms the other family could easily be enjoying the living room with the fresh breeze from the sea. I want a condo like this one. There are 3 separate air conditioners. One in each bedroom and one in the living room that can convert to another bedroom because of the sofa sleeper. Don’t try to use all three air conditioners and the oven at the same time. There are limits and it only makes sense. All beds were soft and comfortable. We did have an extra key if we had to split up to go shopping or use the pool. The pool is a plus here because there are a lot of rocks in the nearby beaches and vendors harassing you. The town is a 5 minute upward climb but my 85 year old mom with no mobility issues was able to walk up and down for a straight 5 days, often twice a day.

What a brilliant stay! To step out through the front door to see The Doumo right in front of us was amazing! Furthermore, the Fish Market is around the corner and great restaurants all around. The apartment is comfortable and perfectly clean and Giuseppina has provided all those little extra things that makes the stay pleasant. Washing machine and beach towels were great bonuses. Giuseppina was the perfect host, responding immediately to any queries and giving great recommendations.

Fantastic place to stay - walkable distance to good places to go. Very comfy bed! Also host was fantastic - everything was ready for our arrival. Would recommend and would love to stay again!

Silvia was a lovely host and very responsive, we organised transfers to and from the airport with Roberto which was really easily and he greeted us and settled us in very warmly. The flat is beautiful with an incomparable view and in a great location. We would definitely return!

Everything was fine. Very spacious place. And directly in the city center of Catania.

This is the second time I've stayed at this accommodation and I really like it. Martina is very kind and thoughtful. The house is warm with its thick walls and vaulted ceilings. Everything is there and impeccably clean. The mattress is of good quality. The location is great, close to historical sites, while offering exceptional tranquility. It's wonderful to be close to everything and to be able to relax. I can only recommend it and I can't wait to be able to enjoy this place again.

Very pleasant welcome and stay offered by Emanuele and her little family. Huge, clean and very comfortable apartment. The only detail is that the street of the house is really stuck to another. Be careful, is the one that rises all narrow. Otherwise, I recommend going to Emanuele without a second thought.

So already the apartment is beautiful, we feel good, very warm, everything is there, we lack nothing. In addition Isidoro is a charming host, very friendly and very good advice … too bad we couldn't stay longer to get to know each other better☺️! It adds a "plus" to the place. Fantastic host and Grazia’s husband was so helpful on arrival. The apartment was spacious and spotless clean. Beautiful sea view and location was brilliant. Everything was within walking distance and accessible on foot. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Host was very communicative. throughout

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! Alberto and Giorgio were so helpful and Giorgio was kind enough to pick us up from the station and drive us to the location. He also took us around to the local restaurants and bars and introduced us to the locals. The place was also lovely and very cosy and Castelmola was so beautiful to explore! Would definitely love to come back again.

Already miss this lovely place which became our dream Sicilian country home for three nights! Located in a peaceful gardens area, accompanied by lovely doggies, Mathilde's place gave us a feeling of coziness and freedom. I can only regret that our busy programme didn't allow us to meet with her in person but she was ver approachable and easy going. If you are looking for a quite place near to Naxos and Taormina, and a good starting point for Etna - don't hesitate to book this place :)

Lamberto was kind and thoughtful. His apartment is very close to the center and you can visit all the attractions of Catania on foot. Very close to Via Crociferi...The house is exactly as in the photos, for 2 it is ideal, but also 4 can easily stay. Perfect bed, as well as the other rooms. Great apartment with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Perfect beach location. Restaurants and supermarket very close. Maria is a great host, making you feel very welcome ready for your Sicilian adventure.

We had a fantastic few days at Marco's house. Very spacious, well located, with parking near the property. Everything was excellent.

A very nice apartment…. The entry sounds confusing before you get there but once you get there, it’s pretty straightforward and Giuseppe was always available and very flexible. There’s a lovely little back deck that’s eclectic and wonderfully private. Maybe a few hooks in the bathroom …. For the price, I would really recommend it.
