Holiday rentals in San Giacomo Montesano

We had a great time. It is a beautiful villa and is very well kept. The host was very responsive throughout. She also had some goodies for us upon arrival and did provide great local recommendations. I wish we could stay longer. The best Airbnb we have ever stayed.

Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances chez Giorgio et sa femme. Merci d'ailleurs pour le gâteau typique qui nous attendait à notre arrivée. Le logement était parfait avec tous les équipements pour se sentir comme chez soi. Le jardin et la piscine parfaitement entretenus. Giorgio est même venu après le passage du nuage de cendres (éruption de l'etna) pour nettoyer la piscine. Rien à dire au niveau de la propreté du logement. Un garage disponible pour la voiture ! En plus, Giorgio nous a indiqué les bons restaurants et les visites à faire en Sicile. Il nous a même apporté un "produit miracle" pour notre fils qui avait un énorme coup de soleil (encore merci). Il aime son île et ça se voit 😉 Je ne peux que recommander le Sud de la Sicile et le logement de Giorgio au sein de la nature. L'endroit parfait pour visiter toute la Sicile tout en étant loin des "parcs à touristes" que l'on trouve dans les grandes villes. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous y passerez des vacances idylliques !

What a gem!! Francesco’s and Marilena’s apartment is simply amazing. It is well equipped, has everything needed (and more), such a cosy place. We felt home the second we moved in there. Delicious restaurants are in walking distance, also there’s enough street parkings close by, if you have a rental car. Within short drives you can reach various beaches/other towns. We also appreciated the restaurant/beach/visit recommendations by the hosts. We’ll definitely recommend this place to everyone, it’s the perfect place to explore Noto and the surrounding area.

The scenery around the villa is outstanding. Looking from the terrace and pool area you can see straight up and down a valley which is lined with olive trees. It really is beautiful. The villa was spacious and suited our family of 5 (including a toddler). We enjoyed the pool in the hot August weather. There was a basket of goodies for breakfast left on our arrival which was a nice touch. The whole place was very clean. From the villa you can drive to lots of bigger towns (Ragusa, Modica, Noto) and also to the beach, all within one hour. You definitely need a car for this location though.

This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! The host was incredibly responsive — quick to answer any questions and always just a message away with helpful tips and recommendations. The check-in process was seamless, and the space was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. You can tell the host really cares about their guests’ comfort. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth and enjoyable stay. Thank you for being such a fantastic host!

Die Unterkunft war wundervoll. Man kommt in die Wohnung und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Vor Allem die Aussicht ist ein absoluter Hit und hier kann mit Wein und Käse einen romantischen Abend verbringen. Auch wenn die Straßen für ein Auto etwas eng sind und man meist nach einem Parkplatz suchen muss, ist es sehr hilfreich, da die Unterkunft sehr weit oben gelegen ist. Abends macht man gerne eine kleine Wanderung, aber gerade mit Koffern lohnt sich hier ein Auto. Ich kann die Wein-Bar RAPPA in der Nähe sehr empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder

Wir hatten einen absolut wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war noch schöner als erwartet – alles war wie beschrieben, wenn nicht sogar besser. Besonders der Pool war ein Highlight und hat uns viele entspannte Stunden beschert. Die Gastgeberfamilie war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich – der Empfang mit einer frischen Pizza nach der Ankunft war einfach großartig! Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt Gastgeber sind. Absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

I stayed here with my extended family for almost a week. It was just as described. We arrived later than expected and Lorenzo was very accommodating and helped us get settled. We were grateful for a well-stocked kitchen when we arrived as we had come straight from the airport in Palermo. Our favorite part of the house was the outdoor space. We enjoyed the pool and the grounds. We ate most of our meals outdoors. It was very peaceful! There is a small village nearby and it is an easy drive to Modica and other larger towns, too. We also took a couple of trips to the beach. Donna Lucata, recommended by Lorenzo, was a favorite. My 3 year old nephew really enjoyed getting to know the resident (outdoor) cat. I would definitely stay here again. I would recommend arriving before dark as the last bit of the drive was easier in the light of day!
