La Quebrada nace en el Municipio de Guatapé, pero sus aguas corren mayormente por tierras del municipio de san Rafael y antes de llegar a Aguadeluna forma tres cascadas o balnearios, La Isleta, Las Golondrinas y La Cazuela.
