Es war eines der schönsten und entspanntesten Wochenenden die wir hatten. In dem großen Bett schläft man sehr gut und diese Dusche ist ein Traum. Alles ist sehr sauber und man fühlt sich sehr wohl und sicher. Das allerbeste ist der private Pool. Es ist so ein Luxus und wir konnten viel Energie tanken und uns erholen. Ein wirklich schönes Haus mit vielen Details und einem super Gastgeber. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank

Todo muy bien, la casa esta muy bonita y la vista hermosa, la pasamos excelente en familia. Mary siempre estuvo al pendiente de nosotros. Muy Recomendable!! Solo recomendados fumigación dentro de la casa ya que tuvimos un encuentro con alacrán, sabemos que en la zona hay ese tipo de insectos pero creo que se puede controlar un poco mejor el tema de los insectos dentro de la casa. un lugar muy familiar y cómodo. si quieres alejarte y descansar es el lugar correcto, estaba todo limpio. la cocina es ideal para preparar alimentos y pasar unos dias ahí sin salir. la alberca limpia y el jardin bien cuidado, una vista increible del lago, volveríamos sin dudas.

Annie’s place was immaculate in every aspect imaginable. House was extremely warm and welcoming and let’s not to boast about the cleanliness of the home. Rented a few homes in the area this one was by far the most prestigious. My family and I felt the house was suitable for our large group of 7. Annie was extremely responsive and accommodating. We will be back again soon!

Un hermoso lugar para pasar unos días tranquilos en familia. La casa cuenta con todo para divertirse y pasarla muy bien. No necesitas salir de la casa, ya que cuenta con todos los servicios, la vista es espectacular y la alberca siempre calientita, Javier siempre muy atento y dispuesta a atender cualquier duda, sin duda regresamos pronto

Diego’s house is an oasis of tranquility where every detail has been thought through. It’s an architectural delight, with every amenity imaginable including your very own cinema auditorium with gigantic leather armchairs you sink into. The bedrooms are yummy and cozy. The oversized art on the walls is playful and beautiful, all the sofas are extremely comfortable and make you feel that you are in a home away from home. Furthermore Maria Elena the house keeper works tirelessly to ensure the house is spotless without you ever noticing her there. She even waited for us until 1100 pm because of the very late arrival of our plane. It’s a dreamy peaceful retreat from the traffic and hustle and bustle of Guadalajara, and the perfect place to relax in Lake Chapala…..a home away from home!

A very special house. For those who are seeking classic Mexico, this house is a goldmine find. It has been well used by a growing family. Evidence is everywhere from the slides and swings for young kids to the basket ball court with 2 baskets; one lower for little people and one higher for teens. There is also a small soccer field at the base of the property, nearest Lake Chapala, and a swimming pool, just right for cooling off and splashing around. The house itself is built with wings, one for boys, the other for girls. Two large bedrooms with multiple beds – we counted a total of 13 that included trundles and roll aways, but I imagine the owners would be careful about renting to large groups. There is a large master bedroom off the girls’ room with its own private bathroom and a rather monastic bedroom off the boys room, also with its own ¾ bath. My son and I shared the house with a Mexican family – parents with two young daughters. It was perfect for us. We had a wonderful time! Gaby and Mari, the caretakers, live in a little casita on the property, and are at your service whenever needed. They are friendly and hard working, Mari is particularly proud of having worked for the owner’s family for 21 years. Gaby and Mari have two lovely girls who were excellent playmates for ours. They don’t speak English, so knowing a little Spanish is very helpful. This is a family home in a very private and exclusive setting with lots of history. The view of Lake Chapala and the grounds are exquisite. The house itself is not perfect, it is in need of some paint and roof tiles, and shower pressure drops to nil whenever two showers are in use. However, it is very comfortable, spacious, and inviting. If you are a family and want a very special Mexican experience, this is the place for you!

Great location in a spacious and interesting apt. Great experience being in Mexican culture, with so many amenities, restaurants and points of interest. Very safe and quiet. Al. In all a memorable experience, highly recommend.

I spent 12 days at Mary’s beautiful property after undergoing surgery. The location is close to two grocery stores and a short walk to Ajijic Centro where there are several restaurants and quaint shops. The casita has a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and was very private for my recovery. I especially enjoyed the two patios overlooking the luscious gardens. The best part of my stay was Mary. She is an exceptional host who goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. She even drove me to my clinic appointments. She is a lovely lady, sweet, kind and generous. She has lived in Ajijic for several years and is very knowledgeable of the area. I will definitely stay at her property again when I return to Ajijic.

The apartment is spacious, well situated, and beautifully decorated. The artwork is representative of Ajijic's artistic community, and the furnishings are comfortable and attractive. We enjoyed cool breezes and the sounds of birds singing. I needed an early check-in and this was accomplished with ease. A personal greeting and tour of the house made me feel right at home. The beds were comfortable, linens and towels fresh, and the bathrooms were beautiful with excellent plumbing and walk-in showers. The location, half a block from the malecon, could not have been any better. We walked safely day and night to restaurants, shops, and the plaza principal. This place is beautiful and the hosts are kind and hospitable. I hope it is available for my next trip to Ajiiic.

Gustavo was a wonderful, responsive and helpful host. The place was cheerful, spacious and clean. The bed was very large and comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed. I very much enjoyed my time there.

Es un lugar muy agradable para hospedarse, estás muy cercas de lo importante de ajijic, el lugar es muy funcional, buena relación calidad/precio. El anfitrión nos trató muy bien.

We loved our stay in Ajijic. Caryn’s place was both beautiful and comfortable and had everything we needed. The back yard was spectacular, even better than the pictures! The home was in a quieter area of Ajijic but still walkable to everything and being right next door to one of the best restaurants in town - Casa Lule was a huge plus! Caryn was extremely accommodating and our concierge Becky had great recommendations and was available if we needed anything locally. We would definitely stay again!

It's a little pricy for the area, but it is a spectacular home with every amenity you need . Huge kitchen, great dining room and living room with comfortable furniture. A large-screen smart TV is there - not wired to any service, so bring your Netflix/Amazon passwords. The big screened-in patio surrounded by the gardens was a beautiful spot to sit and have coffee in the morning. It is a bit of a walk to the town plaza, but a very pleasant one along the lake - the malecon starts just 60 yards away from the entrance to this private road. In Ajijic, one doesn't have to walk great distances, but the sidewalks and roads are challenging if you have bad knees. The roads are well maintained, but they are cobblestone. Taxis are readily available in the plaza or by phone during the daytime. Even though we were on a late flight - getting in around 9:00 PM, we were met at the gate and shown around and provided with keys and a gate remote. It was a great stay for a small family get-together.

Fue una estancia muy agradable, la casa está hermosa, muy tranquilo ideal para descansar, las dimensiones de la alberca son suficientes para nadar, mis perritos también disfrutaron la estancia. Mi esposo y yo coincidimos nos encantaron los detalles de la anfitriona Jen. La vista que tiene la casa al lago es espectacular, despertar, comer o ver caer la tarde con esa vista es muy disfrutable. Los jardines están muy bien cuidados. Excelente experiencia muy recomendable, sin duda volveremos.

Taner is super friendly and responsive. He provided us with everything we needed and was promptly available. The house is up the mountain which offers stunning views. The house is big and spacious. Well equipped for large groups. Quiet and peaceful area.

WOW! If you want a beautiful experience, this is it! The hacienda style house was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. A tropical garden on the lake. We stayed in April and were very comfortable without air conditioning. All rooms have ceiling fans and large windows that open. It is very secure with high stone fencing around the property and wrought iron grates outside the windows. We were very comfortable leaving our windows open at night and enjoyed the beautiful bird song every morning. Even if you are not a bird lover, you will love the sounds and colorful sites of the birds. The beds were super comfy and the linens were super crisp AND soft (how do they do that?) Within 10 minutes, you can walk to a wonderful large grocery store and several good restaurants as well as the bus stop. Hector supplied us with yummy coffee and 5 gallon jugs of water for the hot & cold water dispenser. It was so nice not to have to haul water. Many thanks to Hector for everything. 🙏
