This is a quiet upstairs room with quality craftsmanship. The woodworking and pine flooring give it warmth and coziness with a cabin feel. Tile work at the fireplace and in the bathroom contribute to the room’s unique design. Because we are ten minutes from public access to Lake Murray, we have plenty of parking and turn-around space for your trailer and boat. Whitten’s place is the perfect set up for any fisherman in the area. Cheap, comfortable beds and plenty of screened and covered porch. Neighbors are friendly, area was plenty safe to leave our gear out on the boats.

Jennifer and Walter's house was exactly what our group needed. Everyone had their own bedroom, and all the amenities were exactly as described. The house was well furnished and had several down-home touches that was much appreciated. The house is nestled in a tranquil setting but still had a few neighbors' houses to make one feel safe. Jennifer and Walter responded immediately when we locked ourselves out of the house. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area, this is the house to reserve.

Not only was this the perfect lake getaway, but the owners went above and beyond with the items that were in the home. Just to name a few, games, movies, toys for kids, blankets, beach towels, firewood, extra bath supplies, grilling and beach area and a personal boat ramp, which was our fav! If you could think about needing it, it most likely was there! The location was great and not the busy side of the lake. Home was spacious and modern! The homeowners were very welcoming and helpful! We enjoyed our time there and plan a return trip. We loved everything!
