We had a wonderful time here! Such a perfect location and a great view of the ocean! It couldn't have been better. Louise was wonderful too!

My fiancè and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property in Shaka's Rock, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by breathtaking ocean views and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The house itself is spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the open-plan living area and the outdoor patio. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing us with helpful tips and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation with all the comforts of home, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

My partner and I had the best stay. Ashton and Ernest were outstanding hosts - literally tended to our every need swiftly. The apartment is beautiful with the loveliest sea view, well-maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay away. The perfect home away from home. This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in Durban! The home is absolutely beautiful, stylish, spacious, and impeccably clean, with breathtaking views that made the stay even more special. You can really tell that care and attention to detail went into creating a welcoming space. A couple of small suggestions for improvement: the couch could use a deep clean or reupholstering, as it had a bit of a worn look and lacked that fresh, clean scent. The cushion inners were also quite flat, so replacing them would really bring the lounge area back to life. I stayed in the bedroom facing the passageway, and I’d recommend adding block-out curtains or blinds , the hallway light filters into the room at night, which made it difficult to sleep. That said, everything else was outstanding, and I’d absolutely stay here again. With just a few tweaks, this place would be perfection!

Jean was a fantastic host—friendly and easy to communicate with and definitely went the extra mile for us. The unit was spotless, really comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The views were absolutely stunning, and the space was thoughtfully set up with nice little touches throughout. We enjoyed the small trail in the complex and loved being able to walk to Thompson’s Bay Beach. We’d definitely love to come back!

Super host also available for tips and tips on the area. Very spacious environment, you can feel and enjoy the sea and this is very nice. Comfortable parking and beautiful garden. The house smelled of humidity but the large spaces were truly appreciable in addition to the centrality of the location! We had a great time!!

The views and sounds of the Indian Ocean were spectacular. The master bedroom and a secondary bedroom both had sliding door access to the large balcony. We were close to shopping and restaurants on Ballito. We went on a couple of excursions but the meeting point was about 45 min to an hour away, depending on time and traffic. The meeting point was down at south beach, close to the magnificent soccer stadium. This unit is on the third floor; there is no elevator, just in case you have problem with stairs. The property attendants were helpful and friendly as they assisted me with getting my luggage up to the third floor. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay at Melanie’s place again.

Alan’s an amazing host! I had a great time! The place is gorgeous! In a very quiet area. Went to Plato and the Fig tree, the food and drinks were amazing! Would definitely recommend!

Sarah's place looked just like the pictures and was neat and clean. The host was also responsive and friendly during our stay. Apartment is set in a private position within the estate with stunning views and with easy access to the beach. Overall enjoyed our stay and will consider going back

Leslie's home was great. It was in a great location and Leslie was easy to get hold of when we had question. There were a couple of minor issues that were easily sorted out, like the location of the stove switch and the keys to one of the sliding doors. The only downside, had to do with the parking - there was something that dripped from the parking ceiling onto my windscreen and bonnet and I'm struggling to remove it.

The penthouse is beautiful and comfortable. Robyn is such an amazing host - she’s friendly, responsive and accommodating. We had such a lovely stay and will definitely visit again.

We had a lovely stay. The view is spectacular and having our breakfast and dinner on the veranda overlooking the sea and watching the sun rise and set was so special. The unit is very large and we comfortably stayed there with 4 adults and 2 children. The kids loved the pool!! And we walked straight onto the beach every day. We’ll definitely book this unit again. 😊
