Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saldanha

We had such a wonderful time at 'Freda House' on the Golf Course. The check-in process was seamless, and Zelda, who welcomed us to Freda House was incredibly kind, responsive, and made us feel right at home. The space was thoughtfully decorated, with cozy touches that made it feel welcoming and warm. Every detail was considered. The beautiful kitchen had everything we needed (bottled water, coffee, tea, milk, fresh fruit and so much more!). The location was perfect, close to Langebaan's shops, restaurants and the beach. The house was so peaceful and quiet at night. The springbok and other game grazing on the golf course added to the magic of the setting. What really stood out was the attention to detail. Things like local recommendations, fast Wi-Fi, and a handwritten welcome note and gift basket made a big difference. We genuinely didn’t want to leave! I can highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay. The house has charm and lots of character. We felt at home right away. We were surprised by the size of the house and how extremely well equipped it was, especially for large families. The cleanliness was irreproachable and the garden and yard neat and well maintained. Really good place to spend a great weekend, as the house is very nice and well equipped . The only minor down point is the size of the beds: 140 is too small compared to the standing of the home. Still, much recommended!

The location was wonderful and being dog friendly was a huge bonus and the reason we chose Kathy’s house . Our only comment is that the bathrooms and kitchen need a bit of an upgrade ie in bedroom 2 the shelf is so high you can’t use it. I had to store my toiletries on the floor ( no small bench or vanity top). We are slightly biased as we own a kitchen and furniture design company so probably hard to please 😊 A few towel hooks outside would be great The hot tub was a winner and we absolutely loved it and used if each day.

Phenomenal location & views. Fenced & child friendly with sandy beaches for play, swim, surf & kiting whilst all can be observed from the comfort of a massive porch & braai. The house basic (exactly what we wanted from a beach house / seaside cottage) with great layout and perfect for a family or large group. We’ll definitely be back Thank you Richard, Kerry & Karen

We had a peaceful, relaxing stay at the accommodation. Karien, the host, gave clear check-in instructions that were easy to follow, she is very responsive with messages and gave us recommendations for dining spots to visit in the area. The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare light meals. The bedding and towels were quality brands, and they were clean and fresh. The views from the room is breathtaking. Michelle is an awesome host. The place exceeded all expectations. A break away requires everything the place has; it’s fun and functional. But most importantly it’s peaceful and relaxing. The space is safe and secure. We will definitely be returning because why not?

Superb stay... The accommodation is clean, well-appointed and comfortable... Thoughtful amenities... Great fireplace... And the quaint town of Jacob's Bay is a real gem along the West Coast. Would recommend and would certainly visit again.

Really great place to stay. Right on the sea front, far end of town. Very quiet. Easy access to beach below. Hear the lapping waves. Very clean and very well equipped. Pleasantly surprised to have a shower as was not mentioned. We thought it was a bath only. Great shower it was too! Very comfy big bed. Lovely place to relax and unwind. Read a book or beach walk, yet near enough to restaurants. Highly recommend.

We only had one night but could have stayed for a week. Private and 50m from the beach. Tastefully decorated with all one would need for a short stay in Paternoster. We would definitely go back.

What an oasis. We were looking for a cozy place for a birthday weekend and this beach villa ended up being such a dream. The photos online don't do it justice at all. It's so much more spacious and perfect in every way. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather so we could enjoy the outdoor fire pit every night. But even for rainy days, this place would be the perfect cozy cave with a beautiful idyllic fireplace and so much space to cook and chill with a group of friends. BIG recommendation!

Very pleasant stay, plenty of rooms and never felt on top of each other. Amazing views and the beach on your door step. A great place to stay and lots of games on the property to play with family members.

We had the most wonderful family stay at Doug’s villa! The location was absolutely perfect with direct access to the beach, and the house itself was even better than we expected. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful decor to the well-stocked kitchen and super comfy beds. It felt like a true home away from home. Kathy was a fantastic host - helpful, responsive, and welcoming. We made such special memories here and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach getaway with family!

Such a fantastic place! Perfect for a group of friends. The views and sunset were incredible, and it was amazing being right on the beach. The hot tub, fireplaces and indoor braai make it the perfect winter escape.

My team and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The place was pristine and clean. The design was beautiful, unique and had very comfortable furniture to compliment the layout. The kitchen has additional amenities,ample crockery, and cutlery to cater to the needs throughout the stay. The back area is well maintained,neat and free of risk. The indoor pool is cornered off with glass panels preventing possible accidents. Rolinda was an absolutely stellar. She was extremely attentive, provider an amazing handover of the property and was responsive and helpful to any of our needs/issues. I highly recommend this property.
