Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period. It was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and was built in 1931 in this town, where lacquerware shops are still lined up. Limited to one group per day without meals, you can use the entire house. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the unforgettable beauty and abundance. It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. “Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
