A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

Séjour au calme à la campagne avec pour musique de fond, le chant de la rivière. Idéal pour les séjours en grande tribu. La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée, de surcroit avec gout. Il ne manque rien et Tony et sa conjointe sont très sympathiques, disponibles et à l'écoute. Les canoés permettent une balade découverte de l'environnement pour tous les âges, en sécurité.

We had the most wonderful 12-night stay in The Farmhouse and enjoyed fabulous hospitality from Sam & Stuart. It is very well equipped with everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. There is a beautiful outdoor space for al fresco dining. There is an enormous barn which has been converted into a games area and is incredibly well equipped with table tennis, pool, darts, table football, a library, and every board game known to man! There is also an invaluable library of information on the local area. The massive heated outdoor pool is such a beautiful area to relax in. With the local church as a backdrop and the sounds of the birds singing in the surrounding trees in the beautiful garden was absolute bliss. The location is a great base to travel from and explore the towns and villages in the surrounding area. We even managed a couple of day trips to La Rochelle and Bordeaux. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and relaxing stay.

location calme et paisible avec tout l'equipement necessaire l'appartement est refait a neuf avec gout . un petite terrasse pour profiter de l'exterieur ...au vu du temps je n'ai pu profiter de la piscine mais ce sera pour la prochaine fois ́.je reviendrai avec grand plaisir ..

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

we had a very good stay with Framboise. the house is cosy and practical. it is just about 8 minutes by bike to Le Chateaux d'Oleron. bakery and supermarket are not far away. communication with Framboise was easy and quick.

Très bon séjour dans cette maison familiale. L’accès à la plage est idéale avec les enfants, pas besoin de prendre la voiture. Tout est pensé pour accueillir une famille. Agréable vue sur mer dans les pièces de vie. Communication très facile, a su répondre à nos besoins. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

le logement de Jenifer a été rénové avec beaucoup de goût. les équipements sont aussi qualitatifs et nombreux qu une maison principale: sèche cheveux, machine à laver, four, bouilloire, bref tout y est. vous accédez à la plage à 2 minutes en vélo à 5 minutes à pied, le bonheur.

André es un magnífico anfitrión! Contesta muy rápido, se preocupa porque estés bien y a gusto y es muy muy amable. El alojamiento está muy limpio, muy luminoso, es como en las fotos y está muy cerca de la estación andando. Es súper tranquilo y muy bonito!

Jane was the best, most helpful and most reliable host I have ever encountered. She helped me retrieve left behind luggage by spending hours on the phone with DHL and the car rental office where my luggage was left. Jane’s property is in a stunning location, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields and as I am an artist it was perfect. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, decorated with excellent taste and thought to every detail. It is located about 25 minutes from Angoulême, a small city with excellent restaurants and shops. It is also in easy access to many small and pretty villages like Auberterre Sur Dronne. I highly recommend staying at Jane’s in Champagne-Vigny. I highly recommend this property

Merci pour ce superbe séjour ! Port des barques est un ville plein de charme avec des habitants adorables. La maison est top rien à dire ! Emplacement idéal.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis à notre arrivée, avec la proposition d’office de quitter un peu plus tard le logement que prévu car non loué le lendemain (je le précise car c’est super agréable et ça nous a beaucoup dépanné!). Le logement est impeccable, une literie royale et très confortable qui nous a fait regretter de ne pas rester plus longtemps. Tout le nécessaire est fourni dans la maison, vous n’avez qu’à poser vos valises. A l’extérieur, un immense jardin et une très belle piscine à disposition, qui sont plus qu’appréciables le matin au réveil. Encore un immense merci pour votre accueil, vous méritez vos nombreux avis très positifs ! Une belle adresse à retenir et un gite dans lequel vous pouvez aller les yeux fermés.

Nadine ist eine sehr nette, unaufdringliche Gastgeberin. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit ihrem Haus, angrenzend ein kleiner Garten mit Terrasse, auf der anderen Hausseite ein grüner Hof mit schattenspendendem Baum, sowohl geeignet als Abstellplatz für das Auto wie auch als Aufenthaltsbereich. St. Pierre mit seiner schönen Markthalle war in der Vorsaison sehr angenehm , zum Bummeln und Shoppen wie auch mit guter Gastronomie. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Haus auch sehr gerne weiter!

En déplacement professionnel, nous avons apprécié le calme et le confort après les journées au salon de la broderie. Mélanie a été très disponible aussi bien à notre arrivée que lors de notre départ. Nous serons ravis de réserver lors de notre prochain passage 🌸🌿

Le logement est très agréable, bien agencé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Tout le nécessaire est à disposition, avec une vraie attention portée aux détails. La terrasse, avec sa table et ses chaises longues, est également un vrai plus ! Le seul petit bémol : les locataires du dessous sont assez bruyants.

Séjour plus que reposant chez David et Jérôme, personnes très accueillantes et réactives, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement qui était impeccable et décoré avec goût, l’extérieur est très beau et très calme. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine chauffée ainsi que du jacuzzi. Nous sommes ravies de notre week-end, nous reviendrons les yeux fermés et avec grand plaisir !
