Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saintes

Very nice stay in Alain's house. Quiet, in a small street with very little traffic but in the immediate vicinity of the village square (3 min walk). The house is as advertised, well-equipped, spacious and well-decorated. The small garden and its terrace are a real plus to enjoy the beautiful weather!

Everything was perfect. The place is as charming as it is welcoming: a tastefully renovated cellar, and above all perfectly equipped. There's absolutely nothing you need. You feel good right away, almost at home. The bike rental is a real plus to enjoy the island, and the recommendations (walks, restaurants...) are really valuable. If we return to the island of Oléron, this is where we will put our suitcases again, without hesitation.

Excellent stay, large living space, private garden without a view, kitchen with all the necessities. Only a toilet downstairs, we found it annoying. And we are also not a fan of fragrance sticks everywhere in the house. Enclosed property with parking, at the edge of the residential area. All in all very satisfied.

An excellent stay with a very warm welcome in a very well located house a few minutes from Cognac. All the necessary amenities for a few days, a superb fireplace in case of cold. Beautiful and recommended!

We had booked Hermine's house for 9 nights, were very, very friendly received by the co-host Mélanie, who looked after us very nicely in person or by phone during our entire stay with all questions. The house is very nice, cozy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need. For us, the location was ideal because we like peace and seclusion. The surrounding villages are very small and tranquil, but you can shop nearby. We did some bike tours, the paths are well developed. We also enjoyed Angoulème very much. All in all a nice stay and perfect care! Merci beaucoup à Mélanie! Note: The stairs to the upper floor are beautiful but not suitable for people who are not good on their feet. You must not enter with shoes, it has no handrail and is very irregular and smooth. But that was no problem for us.

This is a great place to stay in La Rochelle! The place is lovely, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a couple. The location, in the historical part of La Rochelle, is close to everything : restaurants, grocery stores, shops and waterfront. Christèle was a very attentive and responsive host I highly recommend!

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

The apartment is in a great location, minutes walk to the port with restaurants and shops on our doorstep and close to markets etc. Patricia who met us was very helpful and friendly. Our stay was lovely.

Very comfortable home, located in a quiet neighborhood and very tastefully decorated. In good weather, it is really enjoyable on the terraces. We were very warmly received by Nathalie. We received very clear information about the area (sights, bike routes, etc.). We are very excited, both about the house and the hostess.

Such a wonderful location, so secluded and peaceful. We were welcomed warmly and calmly. The house was spotless, the pool was lovely and warm and the house is much larger than it appears. We particularly liked the huge bed. Coming from England we were excited by the shutters and it was perfectly dark. We slept so well. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will be coming back next time we are in France, and next time bringing friends. It was wonderful.

Beautiful house, very good bedding and very well maintained / easy to use (ground floor). The fenced and secure park (with playground) for children - ideal! Living room with wood stove, very pleasant in the evening and cocooning - a haven of peace. Very responsive host on the platform, beach recommendations and easy communication. We had an unforgettable stay in this villa nestled in the heart of the vineyards, with breathtaking views of the Gironde. The house is a haven of peace, with no immediate neighbors, while being only minutes from the village. Spacious and tastefully decorated, it perfectly accommodated our family of 8. Every detail has been thought out to offer comfort and friendliness, and the soothing setting made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this villa for vacations for families or groups of friends. At our level we are thinking of staying there this summer to enjoy the pool area which is amazing!!

A very beautiful place in front of the sea. A very beautiful family home, tastefully decorated, welcoming and in a peaceful place. We walked a lot, in the center of Fouras, accessible on foot. You can go to the island of Aix by taking the boat on foot. The weather was nice. Good memories.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the villa. Particularly useful having all ensuite bathrooms. Easy to bike into La Flotte or walk along by the sea. The pool was warm and the gas bbq was great as we cooked in a couple of evenings. As mentioned in previous reviews the furnishings were shabby chic which fitted well with the area. Isabelle was very helpful with the check in and out and had many recommendations for places to visit and eat.

We had a great family stay in this magnificent and very clean house...! The hosts were very friendly, accommodating and available... Close to the sea with children, easy to access, quiet, we recommend this accommodation without hesitation thank you very much!!!
