Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Sainte-Gemme

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Small quiet and peaceful village, perfect for relaxing and resting. Nice house with all amenities surrounded by a beautiful garden. We were also able to enjoy a very nice indoor pool. Recommended for people who love nature.

What to say except thank you! Thank you to Petra and her husband for their hospitality, kindness, and the care with which they respond to the needs of their visitors. We came with my daughter to this region that we know very well. This is the first time in 15 years of Airbnb rentals that we have found such a functional accommodation. To go into detail, there is even a jewelry holder in the bathroom, clothes racks. Petra and her husband's love of nature is also a delight, the garden is superb. There is even a compost bin... We will return to this accommodation with great pleasure because everything is designed for the well-being of travelers and to make the stay the best possible. A place for the car, the host who opens the gate for you when you leave… We loved it! Thank you very much 🌱☀️

We had a great time at Elisabeth's home. There were 4 of us with a Labrador. Everything was perfect. The house is really spotless, and particularly well-equipped. Elisabeth was very responsive and accommodating. We recommend it+++

We had a birthday at the Romegoux village hall, the rental is ideally located, quiet, cool (despite the very hot weather) and with a very nice exterior! We had a lovely family weekend!

The accommodation was really perfect, as advertised and well worth the price. Very well located, a stone's throw from the Nonnes beach, in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. The host was very responsive and clear in their explanations, everything was simple and well organized. I had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

We had a pleasant stay in a very nice and very quiet apartment. We did not have the opportunity to meet Sandra, however a bottle of wine and a package of cakes were waiting for us on the table when we arrived. Saint Palais sur mer is a very pretty seaside town and the wild coast is beautiful.

Very pleasant stay at Lucie's. Royan and its various districts are very easily accessible on foot. Chay Beach is less than a five-minute walk away. Lucie offers tea, coffee and kitchen necessities, the studio is very well arranged and stays cool in the heatwave. The secure parking space for the car is very appreciable. At Lucie's, an excellent place to stay in Royan!

We had a pleasant stay at Émilie and Jean-Marc's. They were welcoming and available. The accommodation is as described, very well furnished, and very clean. The outdoor area is simply splendid, a perfect setting for relaxation, ideal for recharging your batteries. Special mention to the pool, which is a significant asset. We'll be happy to go back!

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

We had a great stay in this small apartment, very well arranged and tastefully decorated. It is located in a very quiet area, close to Soulac-sur-Mer, and enjoys an ideal location. The balcony offers a superb view of the ocean and magnificent sunsets, a real plus ☀️ Another very appreciable bonus: the provision of two bicycles, which allowed us to enjoy the surroundings without using the car, which remained parked for two days. A perfect stay, we recommend without hesitation!

Catherine and Gérald are extremely kind, very attentive so that everything goes perfectly well. We felt at home. I highly recommend it. Top location, the sea a few meters away… the parking is very popular and the residence is quiet. Very comfortable bedding, bed made on arrival and towels included. The washing machine is also a plus. We really enjoyed the spirit of our hosts and the accommodation.

We rented Vandy's apartment for the weekend. It was perfect. The instructions were clear and detailed, making it easy to find the access point. The apartment was large and functional, close to everything A private parking space is really a significant plus We'll be back for a future stay, that's for sure.

We spent three nights in the accommodation in heat that was quite high for a month of June. Fortunately, there was a fan. The apartment is nice and well stocked (with a great park). It's a good place. I recommend it.

Apartment in a very good location. The layout and decor are great. Everything is done to make you feel good. It was very clean and very well equipped. Magnificent view of the estuary with a balcony for aperitifs and meals outside. Excellent place and if we have to rent again in Royan we will go back.
