A very traditional French house. It had everything we needed for a 6 night stay during a 17 night road trip. Very rural but that wasn’t an issue.

Quiet stay in the countryside with background music, river singing. Great for stays in a large tribe. The house is spacious, very well equipped, moreover with taste. Nothing is missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe walk to discover the environment for all ages.

An excellent weekend spent in this beautiful accommodation. Matches the photos and descriptions, even beyond expectations, it seemed bigger than in the photos, very positive. Clean place where we felt at home: cozy, cocooning and warm. A beautiful exterior for breakfast and other meals outside. A big thank you to Audrey for her exchanges and availability. Pleasant and peaceful stay in this very well-equipped cottage. The bedding is comfortable as well as the sofa. We will not hesitate to take a break here on occasion.

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

A tranquil oasis in the middle of the Charente. Lee and Karl are great hosts and their Gite is immaculate and beautiful. Lee’s restaurant recommendations are brilliant and make sure you go and have cake at Gateaux!!

Amazing accommodation, I came to spend a weekend with family (7 people) and it was perfect! We didn't step on each other's toes because the accommodation is very large. The pool was super well maintained, the neighborhood was quiet and discreet. I recommend it 100%, I would come back. A big thank you to Anthony for this beautiful accommodation and his kindness. we had a very good stay with Framboise. the house is cosy and practical. it is just about 8 minutes by bike to Le Chateaux d'Oleron. bakery and supermarket are not far away. communication with Framboise was easy and quick.
