Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Remèze

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Une parfaite petite maison pour s’évader ! Idéalement bien placée dans les Cévennes, hyper calme, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et bien équipée. Avec en sus piscine et belle piste de pétanque … Et des hôtes disponibles, réactifs et très sympathiques !

Grâce à Louisa nous avons passé un superbe week-end, réactif, à l’écoute, toujours au petit soin, tout fut impeccable. Un grand merci

Die Tage in der Unterkunft von Kevin und Letitia waren wunderschön. Es gibt so viel zu entdecken in der Umgebung und das tolle, sehr gepflegte Grundstück mitten in der Natur hat es uns sehr leicht gemacht, abzuschalten und den Urlaub zu genießen! Eine so liebenswerte Familie, die uns so herzlich aufgenommen hat!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Unterkunft vom Caroline. Alles war genau so wie beschrieben und die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft hat die perfekte Ausgangslage für einen Urlaub an der Ardèche, gerne kommen wir wieder!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in in der Unterkunft von Emma und Thierry . Vor allem der Pool und der wunderschöne Garten , machen diesen Ort zu einem kleinen Paradies . Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Ce séjour à été un vrai bonheur, de notre accueil par Sylvain à notre départ, accompagnée par la maman de Sylvain ; des personnes solaires qui donnent envie de revenir ! La maison centralise tout le nécessaire à un séjour en toute quiétude : piscine, transats, jaccuzi, table de ping-pong, pétanque, literie hyper confortable et propice à un bon sommeil, pour résumé, on y est merveilleusement bien. La maison, tout en étant à quelques minutes de Barjac se trouve isolée de toute nuisances sonores ou autres, on écoute juste les petits oiseaux qui bercent nos siestes. Bref, on n'a qu'une hâte : revenir l'année prochaine, mais pour un séjour plus long : tant de jolies villages et activités à proximité ! Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés et sans hésitation : vous reviendrez conquis. Merci encore à Sylvain, à sa maman, et à notre hôte Michel pour ce lieu pensée pour le bien être de tous.

notre hôte à été vraiment top, très arrangeant et son logement est vraiment bien, il y a tout ce qu'il faut dedans pour passer un bon séjour. je recommande sans hésitation. si nous devons revenir je sais déjà où aller.

Das Haus von Éric und Caroline liegt allein inmitten unberührter Natur in völliger Ruhe aber doch so zentral, dass man die Umgebung rundum gut erkunden kann. Das Haus oder eher das ganze Anwesen ist toll renoviert und hat dabei seinen alten Charme erhalten. Der Naturpool hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Kontakt mit Éric und telefonisch auch mit Caroline war sehr freundlich und sympathisch, vielen Dank! Wir hatten schon einige Häuser in Südfrankreich, dieses war definitiv ein ganz besonderes!

We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful farmhouse in Suze-la-Rousse! The home is beautiful—spacious, stylish, and super comfortable. The hosts were really attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a private chef during one evening (recommended by Anais) and he was absolutely incredible. The house came with plenty of linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and all the BBQ equipment we could need. There were also extra services available that made the whole experience even more special. Honestly, it was the perfect stay. Huge thanks to the hosts for making my partners 40th one to remember ☺️

nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille... La maison est chaleureuse, très propre et très belle avec une vue de loin sur la grotte Chauvet et les montagnes. Cette maison est un havre de paix et de détente totale. L'hôte est très réactive et à l'écoute. Nous vous la recommandons vivement

Wat een geweldig verblijf hebben wij gehad bij Didier en Sylvia!! Het begon al bij aankomst, een warme ontvangst. De accomodatie is niet in woorden te bevatten, voor ons een andere wereld waar we binnen stapten..zo ontzettend mooi, schoon en opgeruimd. Ook bijzonder hoe Didier en Sylvia hier invulling aan hebben gegeven. Uit alles zie, merk en voel je dat er liefde en passie in zit! Sylvia wist ons nog een aantal pareltjes aan te bevelen om heen te gaan. De omgeving is ook waanzinnig mooi, rustig. In de omgeving zijn er voldoende stadjes te bezoeken en het C4 restaurant is zeker een aanbeveling als je uit eten wil. Hier kun je lekkere pizza's eten tegen een betaalbare prijs.

Wat een heerlijke plek! De omgeving is adembenemend mooi, met indrukwekkende natuur, gezellige dorpjes en volop mogelijkheden om te wandelen, kanoën en genieten van lokale specialiteiten. Onze accommodatie was comfortabel en sfeervol, Hélène was ontzettend vriendelijk en snel in communicatie! Een perfect evenwicht tussen rust en avontuur. We komen zeker terug!

Alison and Costas are a dream team. Excellent hosts with a beautiful chateau for you to enjoy. Aline is great too. You’ll have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Great food and activity recommendations in the booklet. Be sure to visit all the markets you can, and try and eat at Le Flores- which was the perfect lazy lunch venue.

Très bel extérieur : grand jardin, piscine, jacuzzi confortable, coin repas bien équipé avec une vue superbe. L’ensemble est soigné et agréable. Emplacement idéal, à proximité directe des restaurants et activités. La maison est simple, fonctionnelle et joliment décorée. Petit bémol : la cuisine gagnerait à être mieux équipée si l’on souhaite cuisiner sur place plusieurs jours. Accueil chaleureux et flexible.

This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking to spend some time truly in nature.. the sound of birds in the morning and the sunsets are beautiful. A car is required as the place is hidden away but it’s definitely worth the extra mile for the experience. Florian has put together a lot of local recommendations and the morning fresh bread available on some days is a must! All in all we had a great time and recharged our batteries!

Superbe logement dans le sud Ardèche. Arrivée et départ se font en autonomie avec des instructions claires. Le logement est propre, bien décoré et très fonctionnel. L’environnement est très paisible. Nous avons voyagé avec notre chienne qui a également apprécié ses vacances. Merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil dans ce beau logement.

Très bon séjour ! L'appartement est idéal pour passer quelques jours paisible. Il est à proximité d'activités, de plages et de très bons restaurants. Je recommande !

Un des meilleur airbnb dans lequel j’ai été. Le logement est superbe, décoré avec goût et chaleureux. Je ne peux que le recommander si vous voulez découvrir l’Ardèche et séjourner dans un appartement spacieux, cosy, dans lequel on se sent vraiment bien. Le village de Balazuc est magnifique, et on peut aller à la plage à pied en 10minutes, on en a bien profité. Mary est une super hôte, réactive et grâce à qui tout a été facile et chill.

Excellent two week stay in Olivier’s lovely apartment. Beautifully renovated to give a great mix of modern and character. The stone walls are beautiful. Overall very spacious - two large bedrooms and two lovely bathrooms. Kitchen dining area enormous. Jacuzzi and roof terrace a bonus. There are lots of stairs as noted but very manageable. There is great safe and accessible bike storage and riding from the front door fabulous. Oliver was very responsive both before and after booking and check in. On request supplied us with a filter coffee machine. Barjac is a charming village close to the Ardeche and Cèze rivers for all manner of outdoor activities. Overall a fabulous stay, well recommended. Merveilleux séjour dans cet endroit paisible conçu et entretenu avec amour par Vanina et George. C’est un logement qui nous maintient immergé dans la nature en contact avec les éléments. La pierre de Lauze irrégulière du sol au toit, le vent qui peut s’engouffrer dans la chambre à l’étage par les fenêtres sans menuiserie quand ce n’est pas les premiers rayons de soleil qui s’invitent au pied du lit -très confortable -. La douche -chaude - en plein air face à la montagne recouverte d’une magnifique forêt de châtaigniers et de chênes verts . Cet endroit se mérite puisqu’il se trouve à près de 30 minutes des commerces les plus proches , après de belles routes de montagne sinueuses. N’oubliez pas d’arriver avec quelques victuailles le premier jour ! Si vous ne cherchez pas beauté, authenticité, sobriété , passez votre chemin . Pour les autres , vous serez gâtés.

Janet and Philip were great hosts providing us with the history of the amazing location and its renovation. Every room was spotless and was exactly as described in the posting. It was a great convenience to have breakfast, snacks, and drinks provided. Staying at the castle was breathtaking and was a dream come true for our teenager. It is highly recommended.

We spent a beautiful night in Pat’s castle. He was so accommodating to greet us with a drink and share about his family’s ownership of the castle. He took us up in the tower and showed us the surrounding areas. The flat was spectacular! Clean, beautifully decorated and quiet. Quite an experience!

We had a very pleasant stay at Valerie's nice apartment. Valerie and Patrick are very welcoming and friendly hosts. We felt comfortable from the first day. The apartment is lovely furnished and clean. We had everything we needed for our stay.
