Within walking distance (about 600 m), the river Le Gartempe, where there are enough places to take a refreshing dip. The cyclist can also get his heart's content. For the mountain biker (possibly available), tour cyclist and recreational cyclist, there are countless possibilities through the woods, along the river or through the landscape. It is located within the Brenne Regional Nature Park and close to renowned sites in the region: Beauval Zoo, the Haute Touche reserve, the Futuroscope, the spa town of La Roche Posay, the medieval town of Chauvigny, the village of Angles-sur-Anglin, the Abbeys of Fontgombault and Saint-Savin (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the Châteaux of the Loire Valley.

La maison Carré - romantic house on river, 2p

The former ferry house was completely restored and converted into a holiday home for 2 people, since July 2022. Beautiful setting next to the river, l'Anglin, overlooking the bridge, the château and the village of Angles-sur-l 'Anglin. The house has a private garden and there is a private beach on the premises. The barque is ready on the river, great swimming in front of the door or further down the Moulin de Remerle or the Moulin du Pré.

L'Usine in Angles, to disconnect

Private house in one of the most beautiful villages in France, close to shops (bakery, grocery store, café...). Courtyard where you can park, large garden with swing. Quiet. A place to disconnect. Possibility of hiking, biking, canoeing nearby, carriage rides. I offer puzzle courses (for a fee) for guests who like to walk around while playing an outdoor escape game. NB: Cleaning must be done properly before leaving. Pets not allowed.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. It is located 10 minutes from La Roche-Posay and its thermal baths, 5 minutes from Angles-sur-l'Anglin, one of the most beautiful villages in France. The Futuroscope of Poitiers is accessible in 40 minutes. This former outbuilding has been restored to offer accommodation on two levels with access via an external stone staircase and awning dating from the 16th century.

It is possible to walk directly from the house along the Vienne through a path that leads to a small church on the banks of the river.
