Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Martin-de-Valgalgues

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Valérie’s place is quiet oasis in a great location for exploring the local region. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay and the local village has some great restaurants.

A haven of peace! Tastefully decorated home. The bed is very large and very comfortable. Functional accommodation and corresponding to the listing. The hot tub is a real plus!! There were 2 of us with a dog and everything was suitable (closed gate and spacious grounds).

We had a wonderful weekend at your accommodation. A small haven of peace, where time flows to the rhythm of the surrounding nature! The cottage is made mainly of wood, which gives it incredible charm! We are bathed in the Gardon river located just a few kilometers from the cottage where many spots are available! Fiona also recommended a restaurant "Le Patache", we recommend you in turn to check out this marvel! It was a great weekend! Thanks again

Family with a child and a baby, we stayed 5 nights at Nickie's house. We had a lovely stay. The house was clean and particularly well equipped. We also enjoyed the exteriors and especially the private beach a few minutes walk from the accommodation. The baby amenities were great. The view from the house is great. There are plenty of hikes to do nearby. Off season, plan a few groceries and/or cash. We particularly enjoyed the village market of Sainte Croix Vallée Française (on Nickie's advice). We warmly recommend this accommodation and a big thank you to Nickie and Yves for their little touches, trust and hospitality!

We spent a very pleasant fortnight in the little house. The place is perfectly located to radiate to the places of visit which are numerous 1/2h by car. The air conditioning is appreciated in high heat. The bedding is very good, the environment is quite quiet. Only small downside is that there is no wifi and 4G was not the best with our operator. Genevieve is an attentive and available host. In short, an excellent stay.

Great stay in the Cevennes. The cottage is very well furnished, quiet, in the middle of nature. The jacuzzi is a big +, private and accessible at any time. Priscillia is a very friendly host.

We spent 3 days at Carine's place. The cottage is very beautiful and decorated with taste. It was very clean upon arrival and has a large number of amenities. The setting is very peaceful, surrounded by nature, but both close to several places of interest. We will definitely stay there again, it was a very pleasant experience!

very nice people with love and respect for nature that is reflected in everything. wonderful garden. we felt at home and very welcome. the way up was a challenge for us, but it was doable.

Sabine and Béatrice have achieved the perfect balance of hospitality without being intrusive. It is rare to find. I highly recommend this place for its rustic charm, quirkiness, authenticity, and the surrounding natural environment.

Very nice villa, as described, clean and good bedding, nice terraces for the evening and beautiful pool. Gilles is very welcoming and friendly and gives good advice for visits to the surroundings. Even though we were not captivated by the city of Ales, the villa is perfect. Villa even more beautiful at night with these lights and lighting. Thank you Gilles!

Super nice house and huge estate with a very large pool. Top equipment. Everything there, lots of details, everything works. The manager Cedric is very friendly and uncomplicated and very easy to reach, and unobtrusive. The house is perfectly equipped with all sorts of things. We have been there for the second time in two years, and we will definitely come back. Unconditional recommendation!

Beautiful setting and the view is really worth it! The farmhouse is located at the top of a slope (accessible by going slowly). You are surrounded by woods with a view of the mountains! The cottage is cute and clean, there is everything you need! The pool is great and Caro and Arnaud are super nice and welcoming, just like their little dog, Susie! We had a very pleasant stay, we highly recommend this place😊. We went with our little dog who could walk freely in the farmhouse.

This accommodation is by far the cleanest we have rented! Everything is impeccable. The place is super quiet. The owners were kind enough to install a shade sail on the pergola to protect us from the heat. A real luxury! I would recommend it without a second thought!

Great family stay in this beautiful residence. The accommodation is very well furnished and well equipped, with an exterior that delighted the children (access to the pool, trampoline, swings...). Yves and his wife are very welcoming and accommodating hosts, with small touches that are always a pleasure :) The accommodation is perfectly located for visiting this beautiful region, go there without hesitation!

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

A little corner of paradise, quiet and relaxing surrounded by forest and birdsong. The shed is simple and clean, with everything you need for a week and a nice terrace (table, chairs, deckchairs and electric barbecue). Dominique was a discreet host, a very pleasant presence and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this little paradise. Access to the pool was a plus, especially during very hot late afternoons.
