Family-friendly holiday rentals in Saint Margarets Bay

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

My friends and I had a great stay! The place had everything we needed, the beds were really comfortable, and the hot tub was a perfect touch that made our trip even more special. The host was friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We have spent half term at Lisa’s place, the house is very spacious, located in quiet residential area, about 10 minutes walk from the train station and 25-30 from the town centre which was exactly what we wanted. Lovely large property for our group of 9, we love the gym and hot tub plus a basket of goodies on arrival was an unexpected touch. We had a great stay and was so lucky with the weather too, did lots of small trips with kids so train station nearly was very handy. Would definitely recommend it.

What a beautiful cottage! Exactly like on the photos, very charming. Surroundings are stunning, hot tub was a treat. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you might need. Beds were comfortable and cozy. The conservatory was great to just sit and play board games and have lovely meals, was nice and warm and toastie in there and the views!! Pauline’s communication and response times were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. All I would suggest, if possible is perhaps to think of some sort of covers/shelter from the cold/wind by the hot tub. It was very windy and we still wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but it got very cold whilst inside. Some sort of coverings will work a treat. Pauline suggested some great pubs and things to do in the area. All and all my friends and I had a lovely stay. Thanks Pauline!

Had a two night stay in 'The Dairy'. Lovely place. Clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Great views from the hot tub (enjoyed watching the local horses rolling in the morning!) Straight forward check in with no problems. Only suggestion would be a hook or two in the bathroom - there wasnt much space for toothbrushes/wash bag for 4 people. But really cant fault it. Would recommend. Thanks.

We stayed at Nina's in the Easter holiday with our two younger children. All of us were left enchanted by her beautiful home! we would love to revisit in the near future. The living room and open plan kitchen was perfect for our family. We enjoyed eating our meals with the garden doors wide open. I must say the garden stole the show with it's spacious hot tub! It's situated in such a mesmerising location where you look out to fields. Sheep can be heard constantly- something my three year old absolutely loved! We miss the serenity of the countryside and the beautiful views from the house! Definitely worth a visit! The surrounding areas are simply superb!

Such a beautiful property, surrounded by peaceful countryside and at the end of a country road so there was no passing traffic. A quintessential English period property, beautifully and tastefully decorated with everything that you need for a wonderful stay. Lisa was delightful, excellent communication and warm with her welcome. The beds were comfortable and everywhere clean and tidy. The barn also lovely and our extended family enjoyed staying there. The garden truly beautiful and in May after a warm start to the year so many flowers were in bloom, roses and wisteria around the front door and lilac along the pathway. Excellent seating on the terrace ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks, we just wish our time there was less frantic, would love to return and slow down to enjoy this perfect rental. Amazing stay. Stayed here for a wedding at port lympne, very close to the venue! Hosts were amazing & so helpful! Airbnb was immaculate & so clean! Would highly recommend staying here

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Very peaceful and lovely to have an open fire! We had everything we needed only downside was the shower wasn’t very hot and couldn’t be sorted even after leaving the immersion heater to reheat overnight. The bath on the other hand was lovely and warm!

We had a wonderful stay, so peacful, surrounded by lovely country side, accomadion was home from home, loved our garden. Enjoyed our welcome pack, and our dog loved her treats, topped off with lovely hosts, Thankyou both. We would love to go back. X

Albion House was the perfect venue for our 3 generation gathering. 6 adults, 1 toddler & 2 dogs were perfectly at home with plenty of space. The location is perfect, right on the beach with easy parking & a selection of good eateries just around the corner. We would highly recommend Loaf for breakfast, Docker Bar for a fine range of local craft beer & Fat Raj for a top quality & fresh curry. The only problem was our stay was too short. Nick is very quick to respond & was extremely helpful with regard to flexible arrival & departure. Th

We had a fantastic stay at Coldharbour Cottage. It’s full of character, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean – every detail had been thought through. The views are stunning, and the peaceful setting made for such a relaxing trip. We loved exploring nearby Rye with its cobbled streets, antique shops and cafés, and picked up some fresh local food to cook back at the cottage. It’s also perfectly located for visiting nearby National Trust sites. We stayed with our 18-month-old son and it was brilliant for him – outdoor toys, a slide, and kids’ books made it feel really family-friendly. Andrew, the owner, also kindly took us to see the chickens and collect eggs, which was such a treat! Cooking on the Aga was great fun, and we loved reading all about the cottage’s fascinating history. We felt so at home and would absolutely love to return!

great house, clean, spacious, had everything we needed for our weekend stay. super comfy beds and nice linen. in the heart of Deal - less then one minute from the beach and the high street. really good. would definitely stay again.

Logement très bien situé à proximité de la plage et du centre ville . Nous avons passé un très bon week-end en famille. Les ados (et les grands parents ) ont pu profiter de la piscine qui est très spacieuse et agréable . Le logement est très bien équipé et bien décoré . Nous avons pu également profiter de la terrasse extérieure et de son barbecue. Toute la famille était contente de son séjour de l accueil par Frédérique avec pleins de petites attentions très agréables et jusqu au départ où nous avons pu rester jusqu au dimanche après midi. Nous recommandons ce logement qui est idéal pour un week-end end en famille et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir .

We had a great stay for a long weekend with the family. The place was very roomy and had plenty of space for us all. Neil was very accomodating to last minute changes.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Raeanne. L'environnement du chalet est exceptionnel : en haut des falaises, vue sur la mer dans un parc très calme. Le chalet en lui-même est très fonctionnel et nous n'avons manqué de rien. De plus, Raeanne s'est montrée très réactive : une lampe de chevet ne fonctionnait pas et elle nous l'a changée très rapidement. Nous n'avons qu'une hâte : c'est d'y revenir. Merci Raeanne!

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.
