Annie and Jean-Loup, as well as Caesar, Rosalie and Snoopy, gave us a warm and friendly welcome that made our stay peaceful and sweet. The calm and beauty of the surroundings rocked us and allowed us to rest/work in peace. We'll be back for sure. Thank you so much 🌹

We enjoyed the tastefully decorated and very accessible accommodation. Frédéric and Nelly welcomed us. We highly recommend this cottage because the stay is facilitated by an explanatory booklet that gives all the necessary information on the existing shops with a map to support it.

Wedding weekend at the Château de Brie (if you are sightseeing in the area, this beautiful estate is worth visiting) we enjoyed our few hours of rest in Jeannette's very peaceful little house. We couldn't meet but we had very good exchanges with Jeannette to prepare for our arrival.

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. This was easily one of the most relaxing, wonderful places we have ever stayed. 5 days away felt like a month's holiday. Beautiful surroundings, extremely peaceful, lovely house. Lots to do in the nearby towns and villages. If you go, you'll want to stay longer and return.

Julian’s place was most peaceful and relaxing. We stayed a week but could have stayed longer. We had all the amenities we wanted and feel that the gite is very good value for money. The weather was unseasonably cool, but we still enjoyed swimming in the unheated pool. There are two outdoor spaces which we used each day. For cooler weather there is a substantial wood burner.

Very satisfied with the quality of the furniture and equipment. A beautiful, clean and heated swimming pool. I would highly recommend this listing.

We chose Janine and Mario’s cottage for our 4 week stay as we didn’t know the area and thought we’d like to try Limousin. We chose Janailhac only because it has a depot de pain and a small bar restaurant (both very welcoming)! In reality it far exceeded our hopes. Janine and Mario are great, friendly, kind and supportive hosts who are determined to give their visitors the best possible stay. They provided lots of helpful information about the many interesting and historic villages and restaurants and markets largely within a 25 mile radius so plenty of places to visit. Janailhac is a tiny, pretty, friendly farming village of beautiful rolling fields (and a SuperU at 4 miles). Quiet nights and clean air meant we slept better than in years. The cottage is large and comfortable with a pellet boiler heating system so we were never chilly plus a large open fire place and 2 great hot showers. Well stocked for children with toys, high chair, cot and even a buggy. Highly recommended!

A true paradise. 12/10. The constant sound of the small river. Paired with the great plant population. The wonderful and detailed squares on the property are great. The hostess Kathelijne and her boyfriend welcomed us warmly. And we had a great chat or two. The personal treat for me after a long journey was the perfectly equipped refrigerator at the bar. Accommodation conducive to disconnection. It is a bucolic place, in total calm. An old mill restored with taste. Well done on your work!! Christelle is a very friendly, accommodating person, she wants to please her guests. I highly recommend it.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. This cottage is perfect for an intergenerational family reunion. It is spacious, comfortable, well-equipped and full of stories, both ancient (agricultural and artisanal) and recent (a place of welcome to support victims of burn-out). And above all, Jean Baptiste is a beautiful person to whom we wish full success in his projects. In short, we recommend 200%! As a bonus, Mathilde, a caterer in Saint Paul, is also great.

I had a trail race in Ambazac. The accommodation was ideal for resting. It's a peaceful oasis . The welcome is friendly, available and discreet. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, but nothing is missing. You have a washing machine in the bathroom Book lovers and nature lovers will find what they are looking for, the setting is charming! I would definitely recommend this apartment .
