A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

Chantal is very responsive and friendly. The accommodation is very convenient and comfortable. We spent 2 nights with our 17-month-old daughter and we enjoyed the provision of a high chair + umbrella bed. I would recommned this property.

Quiet stay in the countryside with background music, river singing. Great for stays in a large tribe. The house is spacious, very well equipped, moreover with taste. Nothing is missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe walk to discover the environment for all ages.

We had the most wonderful 12-night stay in The Farmhouse and enjoyed fabulous hospitality from Sam & Stuart. It is very well equipped with everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. There is a beautiful outdoor space for al fresco dining. There is an enormous barn which has been converted into a games area and is incredibly well equipped with table tennis, pool, darts, table football, a library, and every board game known to man! There is also an invaluable library of information on the local area. The massive heated outdoor pool is such a beautiful area to relax in. With the local church as a backdrop and the sounds of the birds singing in the surrounding trees in the beautiful garden was absolute bliss. The location is a great base to travel from and explore the towns and villages in the surrounding area. We even managed a couple of day trips to La Rochelle and Bordeaux. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and relaxing stay.

We had a very good stay in the cottage offered by Nathalie, who is a very nice and accommodating host! We will not fail to rent it again because we have friends who live nearby. The terrace is pleasant in good weather and the cottage offers all the necessary equipment to have a great stay. The space was very clean. The only downside is that the temperature rises very quickly in the room upstairs, but Nathalie specifies this in advance and there is the possibility of sleeping in the cool on the ground floor if necessary. The staircase in the accommodation is quite steep and you have to be careful when going down but Nathalie also specifies this and if you're careful it goes well. I would highly recommend it

charming stay at Ingegerd's, very well appointed typical house, two large gardens, charm of the property, very quiet, we loved it.

The place is very quiet and therefore very suitable for us and our pets. You can reach many interesting sights within approx. 1 hour drive and grocery stores within about 10 minutes. We were very satisfied and can only recommend the place.

Perfect, the accommodation was spotless and the hosts are responsive. The many indications in the accommodation of activities and shops in the surroundings are very appreciable. I recommend it.

Modern, comfortable, functional and carefully decorated cottage. Both bedrooms are sufficiently spacious and equipped with storage. The cottage does not lack anything. We particularly appreciated the calm and attention of Melanie and her partner to have turned on the air conditioning before our arrival on a day of great heat. We'll be back.

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

The very friendly welcome from Sophie and Patrice was the first sign of a pleasant and comfortable stay (nothing is missing!) in the "Bapaille" cottage. A few kilometers away, many famous sites (Brouage) or surprising (the stones of Crazannes), picturesque villages .... are waiting to be discovered. For those who appreciate the calm and the green serenity, you are in the right place as long as you do not forget to do the shopping beforehand! The attentive listening of the owners, who are passionate about local history, is appreciated. We will be happy to come back.

Jane was the best, most helpful and most reliable host I have ever encountered. She helped me retrieve left behind luggage by spending hours on the phone with DHL and the car rental office where my luggage was left. Jane’s property is in a stunning location, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields and as I am an artist it was perfect. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, decorated with excellent taste and thought to every detail. It is located about 25 minutes from Angoulême, a small city with excellent restaurants and shops. It is also in easy access to many small and pretty villages like Auberterre Sur Dronne. I highly recommend staying at Jane’s in Champagne-Vigny. I highly recommend this property

We had a very pleasant evening in comfortable beds after a hot shower. 🥰 All the essentials were very much available to my daughters . A nice quiet stay in a very nice village .

The home was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We made it work for 3 couples for one night. Two couples or a small family could be comfortable for much longer. We thought enjoyed the upper deck!

We spent 4 days resting, relaxing, and enjoying ourselves. No noise, just birds, a little paradise less than an hour from the ocean, just perfect.
