Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saint Ives Bay

Wow - what an amazing place to stay! This is probably the most memorable AirBnB I have stayed in so far. You are right on the edge of the seafront and by the harbour, with the double aspect living room enabling you to see both - the sea views are just stunning. Margaret was a really friendly and communicative host, and the parking space is good. I would heartily recommend this as a great place to stay; it is just so special being able to look out and see the sea from bed, and to hear the waves lapping at the shore as you go to sleep or make your cup of tea in the morning.

We just returned from our third stay at Linda’s beautiful Airbnb. The house is always immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, creating such a welcoming and cozy place to stay. The location is absolutely perfect – just a tiny walk to Fore Street for shops, restaurants, galleries and the harbor. Everything is within easy reach. Linda is an exceptional host, and we can’t wait to return for our next stay! Highly recommend!

Lovely house in quiet square with a pub on the corner! Big kitchen, not that we cooked much as so many great places to eat! We had such a lovely time we extended our stay - twice! Mark was great with dealing with all our questions & requests. Great location, meaning you can walk round town no problem. But having parking permit real bonus, although don't forgot to display as we got a ticket! Also great base for exploring - St Ives, Lands End, Sennen Cove & Newlyn have great Fish 'n' Chips. Eden project is only just over an hour away depending on traffic. We walked across to St Michael's Mount & got a little boat back which was fun. So much to do! All the locals were very friendly and offered recommendations. Will be back as couldn't do everything in a week!

The chapel was beautiful and the bed was super comfy! We had a fantastic time and would recommend this place to everyone. We came down with our daughter who turned one whilst we were there. So it’s baby friendly but would also be perfect for a friend’s getaway or a romantic weekend away! Loved it

Deborah & Martin's property is every bit as good as the listing promises-it is well designed, beautifully appointed and immaculately maintained throughout. The surroundings are entirely peaceful yet accessible (we saw buzzards, bunnies and bats) and the kitchen is a particular stand out for those of us who like to prepare our own meals on holiday, being both spacious and fully equipped with quality tableware and equipment. Deborah was responsive and attentive from the time of booking to the end of the stay but left us to our own devices. Highly recommended.

What an amazing home, amazing location, superb host- really quick to respond to my queries. Loved playing old LPs. Was a little nervous about sleeping in a day bed but was roomy and slept like a log. Bedding and pillows were fab, so comfy. I’m already looking at a booking this summer. Don’t waste time thinking about booking. Do it or it will be gone! Thanks Babs Neat & Andy Greaves

An amazing find with a beautiful view of the sea, even from bed! Was super relaxing waking up with that view! We did wear sleep masks as it can get super bright but worth it for the views 🥰🥰 Everything we needed was available, and although no garden for doggos, there is plenty of areas for them to go out along the road, and near coastal path! Bed was SUPER comfy and the shower was amazing! Melinda was super helpful if we had a question and was so kind!

Just what was needed. Peaceful, beautiful location with a lovely host on hand to offer advice and answer any questions. Great walks, places to visit and good local food. Would definitely recommend anyone staying here.

Chris is a wonderful, kind person who genuinely wants her guests to feel at home on their trip. The apartment had literally everything. Perfectly equipped, lovely furnishings and perfectly clean. Mostly though, it was the personal touches that would make me return and recommend her Airbnb. The welcome note on her door for me. Everything I could possibly need in the kitchen so i didn’t need to rush out to find a shop. I absolutely loved my stay and I will return in the future. Thank you for everything Chris. Lorraine x

We had such a fantastic time at this Air BnB. Mary is a wonderful host and so helpful and friendly during our stay. The location is fabulous, within walking distance to Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole (scenic walks too!) The place itself is beautifully decorated and clean not to forget the views are wonderful! We very much enjoyed our morning tea watching the boats across the water. The bed is super comfortable and all amenities are as described if not better. We will definitely be returning! What a gem of a place and the loveliest host!

Charlotte is a lovely, friendly and helpful host; we enjoyed meeting her. The location feels very rural, and for us, with our North American sensibilities felt a bit challenging to access. If you plan on cooking while you’re there, it’s best to bring your groceries with you, as by the time we arrived, in the early evening the local store was closed and we would have had to drive into Falmouth for supplies. Happily Charlotte provided us with milk so we avoided this inconvenience. The suite itself is lovely, spacious and with everything you need close at hand, with comfortable bed and furnishings. We particularly appreciated the in-suite washing machine, cute little balcony and extra cozy blankets to cuddle up with. There’s a path to the beach close by, and Hotel Meudon is right next door for meals if you don’t want to cook.

We really enjoyed our stay in Newlyn. The apartment has amazing views of the harbour and is a fun quirky place to stay. The beds were really comfortable and the place was very peaceful. It is up a steep hill so not for the faint hearted but we loved it. We would definitely like to stay again.

We were really happy to choose this picturesque cottage apartment. It felt so homely and the surrounding area was very peaceful and beautiful. The hosts were incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful with suggestions on places to visit in the surrounding area. We arrived to find fresh scones and even a box of eggs from their very own chickens. We will definitely be looking to visit again in the future and fully recommend!

What an amazing place! The location, the decor, the facilities! Three Mile Beach have thought of everything, and were so helpful and friendly in ensuring we got the most out of our stay! The location is spectacular but the property, hot tub, sauna was the cherry on top. We will definitely be back!

I write on a personal note as well (to show how amazing the hosts were). The night after we arrived my parents’ dog, Mollie went missing. Kaye and Lindsey pulled out all the stops to help search for her. Sadly the day before we left, the dog was found but it wasn’t a good outcome. But they’d joined in the search intensely all week, organising local people to come help, a farmer to help with cutting back vegetation, searching at various hours of the day in an effort to find Mollie. They really were brilliant.

We can't recommend Lindsey and Kaye's place enough! Beautiful surroundings in peace and quiet, perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy the land. The hot tub was used every evening and was a real treat after a long day of walking, it was also tucked away and private which made it more relaxing and enjoyable (not all hot tubs in Airbnb's are!). The comfty bed, massive rain shower, stunning kitchen/lounge area were all incredible, but having the views, open space,, and all the little touches that Lindsey and Kaye have added are what make this stay special. Lindsey showed us around and was always on hand to chat and recommend things/give helpful advice, and Kaye was kind enough to show us how the pizza oven works and make sure we were okay! As I said, I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you have a dog (ours loved playing with their beautiful dog, Dodger). The pictures don't do it justice! Quick recommendations: Praa Sands, Porthcurno Beach & Minack Theatre - must see!

Extremely well equipped, welcoming, super clean, plenty of instructions and information about the house and area. Comfortable beds, tastefully decorated, super garden, plenty of parking, great hot tub, acres of storage, what wasn’t to like!

This is a beautiful, clean and well located property. The view of the harbor each morning was spectacular and it was very convenient to all Falmouth activities. Sandra was very communicative before and during the stay and gave great recommendations for local spots to dine. We thoroughly enjoyed our family’s stay and hope to have the opportunity to return.
