Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Hilaire

A lovely property in a beautiful, tranquil location. The house was clean and comfortable with air conditioning in every room - a real bonus in soaring temperatures. The outside space is a short walk away from the house with a shady pergola and a nice swimming pool. Helene was on hand if we needed anything but the house felt private. The area is beautiful with medieval villages and castles within a short drive. Excellent value for money too.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous and spotless home (the photos are great but don't do justice to how beautiful it is). We wanted for nothing, the apartment is really well equipped and furnished. Ghislaine is a great host and very welcoming. Highly recommended.

An old house of great character with comfortable sitting room and well-equipped but old style farm kitchen. The shaded terrace was excellent for meals outside and the patio in front of the living room’s French doors was great for breakfast in the sun. The setting and scenery are absolutely beautiful and it is possible to do great walks right from the door. Our dog, Jim, was in his element. The house is well located for numerous walks including the Gorges d’Heric and circuits above Olargues and Saint Pons de Thomiere. A car is essential. There is no local shopping but there are supermarkets in Bedarieux and Saint Pons, not too far away. We enjoyed the restaurant ‘le lézard bleu which is close by in Vieussan. Lydia is a very friendly, welcoming and helpful host. An excellent stay we hope to return.

Wir haben uns in dem kleinen Haus von Paule sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist so liebevoll und hochwertig restauriert und die Ausstattung ist super. Leider mussten wir nach drei Tagen weiterreisen. Aber wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal zurück und werden dann länger bleiben.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in Jo's huis. Ons dochtertje kwam qua speelgoed niks tekort en vond de glijbqqn in de tuin fantastisch! De wandeling naar het meer is prachtig. De omgeving is super rustig. Jo heeft veel nuttige informatie beschikbaar en reageert snel op berichten!

Natacha hat ein Paradies erschaffen - die liebevoll und wundervoll eingerichtete Wohnung war ein Traum. Sehr gemütlich, viele Details zum Entdecken und alles, was man braucht, war in der Wohnung zu finden. Wir haben uns direkt sehr wohlgefühlt. Natacha ist super lieb. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder🌿🌾🍀🥰

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Simone. L'appartement est parfait pour un couple . Bonne literie et correctement équipé. Il est situé entre la cité médiévale et la bastide Saint Louis . Les deux sont accessibles à pied rapidement. La terrasse avec vue sur la cité est un bel atout . Le logement est très calme. Arrivée facilitée par la boîte à clé. Nous n'avons pas rencontré nos hôtes mais ils se sont toujours montrés disponibles avant , pendant et après notre séjour. Une gentille attention nous attendait à notre arrivée. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce logement.

Le studio est agréable, récent, en très bon état, situé dans un petit lotissement au calme. Parfait pour notre court passage vers Carcassonne pour le week-end. Très bon accueil de Nicolas. A recommander !

good value for self contained flat close to Carcassonne and the haut languedoc. very clean, great shower, fast broadband, comfy bed, towels, all the utensils etc you might need, even shower gel and olive oil and coffee for the machine, very thoughtful.

This is a gorgeous apartment in the old town. It was a wonderful haven to escape to when it was crowded, and it was magical walking around the old town in the morning and evening when the crowds left. The place is exactly as depicted in the photos. The A/C was great. Fairly well furnished, but I wouldn't try to do a lot of cooking there. The bed was very comfortable. The patio is fabulous. We ate breakfast there every morning and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening. It overlooks the dining patio of La Demeure du Cassoulet, which is such a fabulous restaurant, we ate there twice. We had difficulty finding the place. The address said #7; however, there was no #7 to be seen anywhere. I called the host, and he told me how to find it. It is basically behind you if you are looking at #8. Fortunately, we left our big suitcases in the car and just brought up what we needed, as walking two floors up the steep, narrow spiral staircase can be tricky. I highly recommend it!

Located just off the Pont Vieux, great access for both the Citadel and new town. Caroline picked us up from the airport and gave us great advice about where to eat, drink and what to see. The apartment really felt like a home from home, a great choice a couple looking for a truly magical weekend with everything that Carcassonne has to offer

Stephanie’s apartment was immaculate. The location was perfect being only a 5 minute walk from the station or airport shuttle bus. The apartment was extremely comfortable - the bed particularly so- and was in a great location, close to restaurants and shops. Located about a 20 minute walk from the medieval city. Stephanie was very kind in allowing us an early check-in to enable us to enjoy our first day to the full and she made us extremely welcome by leaving us a little welcome pack too. Nothing was too much trouble and she kept in touch during our stay to ensure all was well. Stephanie is the perfect host and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a stay at Stéphanie’s apartment. Fantastic, stylish and thoughtfully designed apartment in a brilliant location. We had a sea view from our large balcony with glass walls so we could enjoy it even when sitting down. The kitchen was very well equipped, the shower very powerful , the beds very comfortable and the air con and ceiling fans kept us cool in the 30 degree heat. Julien was a great host, responding quickly to all our queries. And the area is delightful. A long pristine beach just a stone’s throw away, lots of very good restaurants and bars, and attractions like a water park nearby. Perfect!

My wife and I stayed in this apartment recently for three nights. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. Check in and out was straight forward using keypad facilities for both the building door and apartment door. The apartment is located on a quiet street, however our first night coincided with a musical event so not as quiet as envisaged. It is very modern, clean, well equipped and its a short walk to the castle. We would certainly recommend it for a short stay in Carcassonne.

Nous avons passé un super séjour à Carcassone. L'appartement est très cosy et confortable. Sabine est très sympathique et nous à accueilli chaleureusement en nous donnant de bon conseils pour visiter la ville.

Un super appartement vraiment bien équipé et très confortable. Emilie est très réactive et très présente quand on a besoin d elle ! Elle répond très rapidement malgré ses obligations professionnelles et sait solutionner les petits tracas tout en étant très discrète ! Il y a un super parc pour les enfants à proximité, de quoi remplir le frigo à quelques minutes , le parking de la cité et le lac à moins de 10 min. Pas de galère pour se garer, l appartement a sa propre place de parking, et après un long trajet on y a trouvé un bon café et des petites douceurs pour se requinquer ! Bref … nous reviendrons !!!
