House holiday rentals in Saint-Hilaire

We came as a group of 7 for an EVJF and we had a wonderful stay in the house (sufficient and properly equipped spaces). The exterior is as pleasant as the interior. The house is impeccable and the services offered correspond to reality. Thank you again for this warm welcome! We recommend this property.

We had a great time at Paul's house. The view is magnificent, the pool is also. The living and dining area is open and bright and very suitable for groups. Also the division of the bedrooms. You have the option to withdraw if you wish. Paul was always available and gave us helpful tips. His father was also very friendly. Both speak good English. We will be happy to come back anytime!

We stayed with Claude for 16 days in June. We immediately felt at home. Landlords were very reserved but immediately on the spot when help was needed. - TOP - It was very clean, also our wish to be able to use both bedrooms was no problem. Claude and his wife are very helpful and pleasant. The accommodation was very, very quiet and in 30 minutes on foot the old town and in 15 minutes on foot the baker could be reached. The car could be parked immediately in front of the entrance - very pleasant when loading and unloading. The area within a 100 km radius offers sooooooo much that you can hardly explore everything in time. The small pool is ideal for cooling off after excursions in the heat.

We loved the apartment. It was impeccable and very new. We have been very relaxed and close to everything. The private terrace is wonderful. Gildas has been very kind and communication has been very simple.

Sandrine is a very helpful host, quick to reply to any queries. The property is well located and made us feel very comfortable. Being June the pool was heated and in a very clean condition and the air conditioning was much needed and worked well. Very pleasant and relaxing stay. If we had mobility issues the stairs may have been a problem but that shouldn’t put you off this amazing property and host.

We loved our stay at Laurence's, the house was perfect for 8 adults and baby. The pool area was gated , very clean and heated. Plenty of equipment, we bbq'd one night, (charcoal and bbq brought to the house. ) The house is spacious and beds comfortable. Vineyard 10 mins walk away . Stables next door. Beautiful setting. Morning visits to bakery. We visited Narbonne, Carcassonne Old Town and Castle area, Lemuix Wine tasting recommended . Laurence , helpful and informative quick to reply to questions. We would love to return.

Everything was perfect!! Rachel took great care of us and the place is just like the listing. We'll be back in another time of the year!!

We had a fantastic trip, Marie-Cecile & Leonce are the most welcoming and helpful hosts. The apartment is well perfectly situated between the castle and the centre of town with a beautiful garden and close to the river. Couldn't recommend this more.

Ciarda and Richard were gracious and helpful hosts. There response to our questions and a couple of repairs was timely. The location is easy in and out and the parking in front is a real plus. The property is comfortable and spacious and these are all good things. There were for us, some things less satisfactory. The 2nd floor is accessed by steep and somewhat irregular stairs. Once on the 2nd floor there are number of interior steps both short and tall as well as up and down. While there is nothing that Ciarda and Richard can do about that short of remodeling, but it is something that we think that should be noted in the description. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend it to others with the caveats noted.

Great weekend, we were there for 3 days for a wedding. Spacious, clean, well thought out accommodation in its various amenities. The owners came to see us to see if everything was okay, lovely people! Truly an address to keep in mind. Animals are also welcome, which is nice for people who own them. I recommend this accommodation ++++

Stayed at Bin’s place with my wife to celebrate her birthday. And it was amazing! We would like to highlight that Bin is a very caring, supportive, and attentive host. His professionalism is evident in everything, from the way he organizes the space to how he makes guests feel comfortable. The house is equipped with all the necessary kitchenware, appliances, and amenities to make you feel at home, even in a secluded mountain location. Bin also provided numerous hiking routes and was a wonderful conversationalist. By the way, if he offers you to buy some French bread along the way, go for it—it was incredible!

We had a very enjoyable, relaxing and peaceful week here. The house was really clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home. The terrace in particular was a lovely space to read a book and enjoy our morning coffee. And those views! We definitely recommend a meal or two at La Petite Artois, the food is great and they are very friendly. The location is good for visiting several Cathar castles nearby and the countryside is breathtaking and at this time of year with wildflowers everywhere. Anna was very helpful and easy to contact. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area. It was a really lovely holiday.

We are a party of six adults. The house proved to be exactly as advertised. It is a fantastic property in a fabulous location. The owner Sixtine has been a pleasure to deal with. All communication was clear and any questions were responded to quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

A little piece of heaven on earth. I couldn't have chosen a better place for my reconnection trip. The forest and the surrounding villages are magical. LaRouyère is so idyllic it almost felt like a movie set — minus the boom mics and drama. The garden and pool were our private retreat; we dedicated two afternoons to pure laziness: sun, breeze, and zero responsibilities. The home is beautifully renovated (it includes a former wine cave!) and feels like the kind of place you'd happily get stranded. I cooked several meals in the well-equipped kitchen, we slept like the dead in the blissfully quiet bedroom, and the bathroom surprised us both — showers are usually utilitarian for me, but this one was hard to leave, and my husband was equally smitten with the tub. Stuart shared great tips, including the St. Chinian market, where I found heirloom tomatoes and carrots I’m still thinking about. Both hosts were generous, friendly, and struck that great balance of available-but-not-hovering. We left feeling rejuvenated — and already looking forward to a return.

Magali and Jean Baptist’s annex was beautifully designed. It was the perfect complement to their elegant main home. The little patio had mature vines growing over Roman style columns, providing a delicious secluded shaded area, perfect for evening drinks or a light meal. We had permission to use the little pool which is delightful in the mature garden. The views of the Castle peeked through everywhere. Both the town and the castle were within an easy walk. Very peaceful area and lovely hosts. We wanted to give it 6 stars!

We had a wonderful stay in the middle of beautiful scenery, a truly relaxing and idyllic place. We enjoyed drinks and meals on the lovely terrace and found the accommodation comfortable and perfect for a couple. The host was friendly and responsive. There are lovely walks right from the door into the mountains. We also walked into neighbouring Vinça to enjoy the lake and Joch for the lovely view and cafe. We would love to go back and would definitely stay again, we didn’t want to leave! Merci!

Stone house in a small hamlet in the Val Du Faby, ideal for excursions in the area (Aude and Ariège). Clean furnishings, everything you need, wooden terrace with small garden. The house stays cool even in warm temperatures. My dogs and I felt comfortable.

Amazing guesthouse and exceptional hospitality - We (2 adults and 4 kids) had a wonderful stay at Aurélie and Sébastien's guesthouse. From the moment we arrived we felt incredibly welcomed and at home. They were always friendly, helpful and full of great recommandations for things to see and do around the area. The guesthouse itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, very clean and offers a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. Our kids loved the pool and the garden with the animals. We even brought our bikes and used them around the area. We can highly recommand this place, whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base to explore the region. This guesthouse in Villerouge de Crémade is a perfect choice!

A very beautiful loft and consistent with the photos and description. The renovation is superb, comfortable bedding, efficient air conditioning, impeccable bathrooms and kitchen. A real family moment with barbecue, swimming pool, foosball, games... Discreet and responsive hosts.

We had a great stay. Easy instructions to get in and very helpful to have access to the secure parking garage nearby (3 min walk). Really clean in the apartment as well and quiet since it's off the street.

Great & gorgeous location, where one can sleep like a rock, relax and visit wonderful places in the Aude region. The property is well equipped and the outdoor space is secluded and pleasant to sit in + enjoy a fresh dip in the pool. We loved it!!
