Splendid terrace magnificent view

Small apartment bathed in light. Confortable and snug. On the 7th (top) floor with lift/elevator. Facing south. The pretty terrace, with its magnificent view overlooking Paris, is ideal for meals and relaxation. The city's beautiful monuments can be admired at all hours of the day and night. The apartment is situated at the foot of the Sacré Coeur with the funicular railway to take you to the top of the Butte Montmartre. It is located in a small, calm, street away from the bustle of tourist activity. Owing to where it is situated this charming apartment provides further advantages : - a lively neighbourhood with many shops within 5 minutes walking distance, - three nearby metro stations, Anvers (line 2), Abbesses (line 12) et Barbes-Rochechouart (line 4), for easy and rapid access to the center of Paris, the main railway stations, and other places of interest during your visit. The apartment has just undergone complete renovation and has recently been placed on AIRBNB lists. A fully equipped kitchen opens onto the living room. For convenient preparation of meals all appropriate facilities are provided (refrigerator, grill, oven, induction cooker, saucepans, kettle and other kitchen utensils). The bedroom, with its double bed (140X200 cms), will enable you to sleep comfortably and wake up in the morning to a marvelous view of the Parisian sky-line. A small, secluded balcony provides an ideal setting for your morning cup of tea or coffee. In the living room there is an extra sofa-bed (140X190 cms) for the benefit of one or tow more guests if required. There is a small, well-lit bathroom with shower and toilet. The following facilities are also provided : TV, Blue-ray player, Wi-Fi, vacuum cleaner, electric iron, wardrobe etc. There is also a launderette further down the street. We should be happy to assist in providing any further information that might be required (what to do, what to see etc). We are eager to welcome our first visitors and obtain feedback on their stay.

Incredible location, such a cute and well decorated apartment, which was surprisingly more spacious than the photos revealed. The apartment was sparkling clean and Frederic was excellent with communication. Just a forewarning that it’s on the 5th floor with no elevator and gets extremely hot in summer weather. Overall, an excellent spot!

Konumu bulması kolaydı. Güzel bir muhitte 2 metro istasyonuna da yakın bir yerdeydi. Oda ihtiyaçlarımızı karşıladı. Ev sahipleri yardımseverdi. Banyodan ara sıra ufak sesler geliyordu ve ses yalıtımı fransa evlerinin eski olması dolayısıyla çok iyi değildi sanırım. Fakat sorun değildi. Genel olarak memnun kaldık teşekkür ederiz.

George’s place ended up being great for our family of 4. Good stuff: The location is amazing!!! Good restaurants, bakeries, stores, bars, museums, and sites <5 min walk. Quiet on top floor. Little sketchy for me but family of 4 liked the balcony. Miele appliances with good washer and dryer. AC in main bedroom but only 1 and is a little under powered. Not Great Stuff: Place is very vintage Paris apartment. It has peeling paint, on 5th floor with ~95 more narrow steps and no elevator, and ceilings are low in many areas. If you are >6’ watch your head. If you are in Paris and location is key, love this place. If you are elderly or have a baby or very young kids I would consider the cons. Cheers! The place is older

Emmanuel's apartment is a carefully renovated, sleekly designed space in walking distance in any direction to major cultural sites: Luxembourg Gardens, the beautifully restored Notre Dame, Ste. Chapell, the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Pompidou Center and the Marais. Well-insulated casement windows creates a consistently quiet space even though the apartment is in a lively area of St. Germain. The windows opened to views overlooking historic Parisian Haussmann apartments and the trees of Boulevard St. Germain des Pres. Superb bus (now mostly electric) and Metro public transport lines right outside the door made it super convenient to move about Paris. The ground floor cafe has a GREAT "petit dejeuner". Emmanuel has a full stock of aluminumn recyclable coffee pods (an mix of Costa Rica & Expresso) for the easy-to-use Nespresso coffee machine (a Nespresso store is only a 5-minute walk for your favorite flavors). Loved the shower. A great oasis to return to after as you discover Paris.

I had a great stay at Marie Charlie’s place. The apartment is located in a very chsrming neighborhood. I liked both the location and the house itself; it felt comfortable and welcoming. Communication with Marie Charlie was excellent. One thing to note for future guests: the apartment is on the third floor and there’s no elevator. It wasn’t a big problem, but it was a bit of a challenge with my large suitcase. I managed just fine and it didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed the stay.

Marie was a lovely host. she was very proactive in communicating and very responsive. She provided me the opportunity to drop my bag off while cleaning was completed. The apartment was fantastic, newly renovated, clean, bright and airy - above the Hermes store for those who are brand conscious! The location is amazing, Bon Marche just a block away and close to the Luxembourg Gardens. Was the perfect place into explore the best of Paris. Thank you Marie!!

Wir waren im Mai drei Tage in der Wohnung und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles war wie beschrieben. Die Wohnung war sauber und komfortabel. Saint-Germain ist eine sehr schöne Gegend, in der abends viel geboten wird. Wir planen daher wieder zu kommen. Die einzige Einschränkung, die ich machen würde, ist da die Treppen im Haus und in der Wohnung sehr steil sind, muss man gut zu Fuß sein. Für Leute mit Behinderung wäre diese Wohnung daher nicht zu empfehlen.
