Our typical Oleron house was completely renovated in the spring of 2020. A very bright living room thanks to the glass floor ensures a cocooning atmosphere. The kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and two beautifully decorated bedrooms will make you feel at home. It is located in the heart of the village of St Georges d'Oléron, quiet, close to amenities (grocery store, newsstand, hairdresser, restaurant...), 3 km from the beaches. HOUSE LINENS NOT PROVIDED. Between land & sea. Country atmosphere close to the beach

Our accommodation is close to the sea (walking distance to the beach), in a rural environment, surrounded by vineyards and woods on 8 hectares (house adjoining ours, but not overlooked), quiet and relaxation assured! With an area of about 40 m2, it is perfect for a couple/couple with young child (2 years max). It consists of a bedroom and a living room with small kitchen and sofa, terrace. Linens and hand towels provided. The shower room/toilet is accessible through the bedroom.

The countryside by the sea! Recently renovated accommodation with taste. Very clean and functional for a few days, or more, of vacation. Small terrace (without neighbors for the moment) pleasant to start the day with a coffee and sunshine. The place is quiet. We didn't have time to explore it, but the locals praised the charm of the surroundings. Wandering to the left from the house leads to the village restaurant, and to the right to a meadow where the horses seem very happy.

We had a pleasant weekend in Caroline's house. The house is great, well-equipped and very well located (5 min from the beach on foot). The house is very well insulated, which allows everyone to go about their business without disturbing those who are napping 😉 It really has everything you need The only downside is that there is absolutely no network in the area, but this forces you to disconnect during the stay 😀 Thanks Caroline!

A few little glitches which were resolved in amusing fashion involving my french, Fiona's English, Google translate and cameraphone.Importantly the house was very comfy and well appointed and close to wonderful beaches.On our last night we experienced the most wonderful burnt orange, white and blue sunset. Plenty to explore on the island and if you like fish and shellfish you won't be disappointed! Thanks to Fiona and her parents, who checked us out, for a very memorable 2 weeks. Just wish it could have been longer! Alex and Rita

Excellent stay despite high temperatures and where it was difficult to ventilate the apartment well because the neighborhood is very noisy (passage of vehicles under the windows until 11 p.m. and we start again in the morning from 6 a.m., not to mention the seagulls that make a hell of a noise all night because of the public lighting, but that's nothing.) But this certainly comes from the fact that we live in the countryside, in almost total silence and without artificial light, we are not used to it. I highly recommend this accommodation for its accessibility and quality. Thank you for your hospitality. Kind regards, Philippe and Isabelle. By the way, we haven't found the oyster knife 😉

We enjoyed our extended weekend at Domino. The beach is indeed very close, as is the market. The house is well-equipped. The beds are comfortable. The courtyard is very pleasant during the day and the balcony on the first floor allows you to extend summer evenings by hearing the sea. The environment is quiet. We'll be back.
