Waterfront holiday rentals in Saint George

What an amazingly warm welcome. We wanted somewhere quiet and this did not disappoint. Such a tranquil spot, whether sitting on the roof terrace watching the sun rise or set, being in the pool or sitting under the gazebo, while listening to 2 sets of waves. Being on the peninsula also provides a beautiful warm breeze. We opted to not rent a car for several days, but to just enjoy the space and surrounding area. This place is very relaxing. Parking spot right outside our door when we did decide to rent a vehicle. The shop and local bus stop were a 40 minute walk away, providing lovely views, perfectly doable early morning or late afternoon for moderately fit folk. Haylup is a great app (we found this in another review) which we used to get to the apartment. The family are very obliging, the apartment was freshly decorated and the AC extremely efficient. Would definitely stay here again.

Wow, words can’t describe how amazing my most recent stay in Grenada was. The location was absolutely perfect! Peaceful and PRIVATE . Definitely a change from the hustle and busy area of St George’s. Petite Calivigny is indeed a hidden gem. Vie was a great host who was very attentive, caring, informative, and readily accessible for any questions. Vie also has a Taxi business Taxi & Tours By Vie which made my stay even more convenient and stress free. The Villa Nova is accurately described and looks exactly like the photos listed. The extra amenities such as Netflix and fast Wifi was a plus. I never had issues with hot water, or AC. Everything was perfect. The bed was absolutely comfortable. I enjoyed eating my meals outside on the patio while I adored the greenery view of Grenada. Thank you Villa Nova for such a peaceful and unforgettable stay! I’d recommend The Villa Nova to everyone. It’s perfect for a solo traveler or couple!

Loved this stay. The place is perfect, and Jane and Elvis are delightful. The private beach can’t be beat! And the hosts are so accommodating and kind. Jane’s muffins are to die for - be sure to ask for the recipe!

Just returned from a 2 week stay at Hideaway. The apartments were fantastic and the photos do not do the place justice - Nikita, the manager, is updating the Airbnb site. The location is perfect, just off the main road between Grand Anse and St George’s but you hear very little traffic noise as the apartments are down a small hilly driveway behind a securely locked gate. The walk to one end of the beautiful Grand Anse beach is only 5 minutes and then another 5 minutes walk along the sandy beach to two good restaurants/bars - Coconuts and 61 West. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a small pool and sunbeds/chairs. A 100yds walk across a few small rocks that are easy to climb around/over is a lovely small isolated sandy bay to swim from. Nikita was an exceptional host and was responsive prior to arrival booking us a taxi from the airport. She attended the site everyday and was so friendly and helpful making recommendations for places to visit.

If you are browsing and this place is available- you can stop looking. Really. This home is amazing. My husband and I live in Grenada and decided to book here while the parents were in town visiting. The four of us and our two pups had TONS of room to spread out. And for the times we all wanted to spend together there was ample communal space as well. You absolutely should have a rental car if staying here…there isn’t really anything within walking distance. But it’s only a half hour from the airport and is in a fantastic location if you are the explorer type. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were well appointed. Everything we needed was right there. AC is only in the bedrooms but there is such a fantastic breeze we stayed cool in the common areas. The host was easy to get ahold of and was very friendly. It was a wonderful stay and already daydreaming about going back.

Stayed 1 week in Howard and Bianca’s cottage. Location is wonderful very private but on the beach in 60 seconds! Home has all the equipment you need and everything worked. Great coffee maker with fresh beans supplied. Bedrooms have a/c and beds are comfortable. Plenty of towels and linen available. Hosts were very friendly and responsive with easy clear instructions and a relative was on hand at check in to welcome us. Good tips about local area. Coffee shop, supermarkets bars and restaurants all walkable. We have stayed in the area before but would definitely return to this cottage. It is also very good value for money.

Had an excellent 3 week stay. Habib went above and beyond the expectations of any Airbnb host. The Wifi is good in case you need to do some work, I had no problems with Zoom meetings (Usually around 15mbps). The house is only a 10 minute walk from over a dozen food spots and the SGU bus stop is just down the road. I regularly just walked to the campus, however. The view from the backyard is impressive, I enjoyed the sunsrises and the private beach. Will definitely come again next time I'm in Grenada!

Beautiful place to stay! The location is amazing right on the water with your own private jetty and pool. Kitchen is stocked with just about anything you would need to prepare meals. Adam is a great host and promptly responded to any questions that we had. We had a wonderful stay! We will definitely be staying again!

Good clean spot right next to the dingy dock at island view. I was looking at a boat in the bay so easy access to that made things simple and I didn't need a car.

Cottage was clean with beautiful views. A bit of a drive from somethings, but worth it for the privacy. Front desk staff very friendly and responsive. Ricardo (Ricky) and Rena from the restaurant were super friendly and fun. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our trip a night and the front desk was so helpful in making sure we didnt even have to switch rooms for the extra night. Our daughter is a student at SGU and we will be returning to Secret Harbour when we return, for sure! Many thanks! Dawn and Neil

Amazing space, beautiful views, extremely spacious and very comfortable. There was five in my group and we all loved the place. Highly recommend the condo.

This is a very nice place, and although no view, it is just a very short walk to the beach. We also walked less than a mile to grocery store and ATM, and to catch the bus. Grand Anse Beach access is just a short walk from condo. There is a hill to climb, and it is warm- but usually nice breeze, with path or sidewalk most of way. Jacqui took care of a few things we needed very promptly and arranged taxi ride to airport.

First, I want to say that Beckie and her team were PHENOMENAL. Several minor things occurred that a host wouldn’t know about until someone mentioned it. I happened to be the discoverer. Beckie and her team were extremely attentive and never made me feel like I was being bothersome even when I felt like I was being annoying. The beds were comfortable and the essentials were there. Mini-mart had easy food, first-aid and wine. Perfect location for airport, main beaches, and site seeing. AMAZING sunset views. There are a lot of stairs up to and in the unit, to the main pool/beach, and Grenada generally. The main bedroom/bathroom is all one room. Toilet is in a frosted glass stall not a closed door room. Music from the bar can be heard in the unit. Closing the patio properly helps. Generally quieter by 11/12 except for NYE. Otherwise peaceful area. Little beach great for seagrass snorkeling if willing to explore. Avoid stepping in seagrass and on sponges/corals to protect it.

We urgently needed a place to stay with short notice. Becky responded quickly and was reassuring in making sure we had a place to stay. I highly recommend this beautiful place and loved the pool also.

I wanted to be close to Port Luis Marina and this Place is right next to it - basically on the other side of the Marina Parking. I booked at the last minute and Rasha has been very helpful and quick in replying. the main public transport route was only 150 meters away. Plenty of food options (restaurants, bars) available at the Marina (literally 50 meters away). Everything else is easily reachable.

Rasha and Richard are a wonderful couple who absolutely know how to do hospitality. Location - Can't be beat. Just off of the main road - so real easy to catch a bus or walk. It's city living, so you may hear traffic at night. Safe neighbourhood. Loved being able to walk to the Marina for a drink, to Patrick's for a bite and back from the Carenage at night. The apartment (#09) is basic but squeaky clean with great views of the Marina. Lovely, well maintained grounds. Fans in both the living and bed rooms and cross ventilation kept the apartment cool and comfortable. No need to use the air conditioner. Well stocked kitchen and ever so thoughtful cold water and milk in the refrigerator. We had shopped for breakfast supplies. Very comfortable, firm double bed. Bathroom - plenty of hot water. I just had to have help to turn on/off the wayyyy over my head switch. :-) Washing machine onsite was perfect for our five day stay. Highly recommended! Thanks for a great stay.

My family and I had an amazing stay. Trish and her mum were so helpful and informative. The place was so comfy I felt right at home, which made it easier as it was the first time travelling with my 4 month old. The pool had been refurbished so it was very beautiful and I took some of the best photos. The views from the veranda and bedrooms are absolutely dreamy. I did not want to leave Grenada after staying there, I felt so at home. I can’t wait to come back. Felt just like a family home.
