Kashima wooden bungalow at Citrus Creek Plantation

JuliRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had an incredible stay at Citrus Creek. The meals were incredible and the daily fresh sweet bread was a real treat! We loved the rustic feel of the cabin, the privacy and oneness of the jungle, the proximity to the creek for exploring. There is a lot to do in this area, so it is a perfect central location for exploring, hiking and immersing yourself in the community. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We loved being surrounded by spectacular plants and flowers, and a plethora of birds. Know that you will be living with the insects and lizards in this authentic retreat space. We really enjoyed our time here and felt very safe and right at home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Guava Cherry Riverside cottage at Citrus Creek Plantation

CatharinaRating, 5 stars17 months ago
Amazing stay in the rainforest, but you must love to be surrounded by nature. The music of the river flowing makes for a good lullaby and the remotness is unique. The food in the Riverside Café was excellent. The whole team incl. the driver Ozzie were the friendliest people ever. An overall wonderful experience we will never forget

Bruno's Atlantic Breeze Cabin 2

AlisonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Bruno's Atlantic Cabins ( Bruno Nakita's father) were just right for our first few nights. A short drive from the airport, it is on the less touristy east side. It has a beautiful garden with hummingbirds right there! A view to the sea, and an even better one a few steps away in their gazebo with hammock and . Nakita's family couldn't have been more attentive and helpful, recommending places to swim and eat nearby. A new road was being built, so their sign was down, but we had an instant response to finding them. Nearby are the Kalinago Barana Aute, a reconstructed indigenous village and Nakita's husband's Soma Gardens (enthusiastically described in the Dominica Brandt Guide. --a must have).

Easily the best trip of my life. I want to thank Melissa and Andy for making my Fiancé and I feel like family. The food was incredible - healthy and delicious. Melissa is an incredible chef. I wish I got to spend more time with Andy and Melissa because they are so incredible and interesting. I enjoyed hearing about their adventures. Scooby the cat and Socks the dog were also very sweet. I am so thankful for this experience and want to come back. If you are wondering where you should stay in Dominica stay here. 10/10. Loved it. I wish I could’ve stayed there.

The Kaban'A of Tete Canal

TravisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Unreal experience! Just being here was the highlight of Dominica. These people are exceptional at what they do! I felt welcomed and appreciated immediately upon arrival. They send the friends forever vibes. This is living in nature so expect everything that goes along with that. This an also great choice if you are interested in hiking to nearby waterfalls. The cabin itself is a work of art and well cared for, and pictures can’t do it justice. If you are looking to experience a taste of jungle life I highly recommend.

Unique & cosy Dome House at 3 Rivers Ecolodge

LotteRating, 5 stars15 months ago
This place. A rare touch of nature! An adventure where you go straight into living a life close to off the grid and lacking very little or nothing. Bring some good food for yourself and learn to use what is there. Jeffrey who works at 3 rivers gave us a local tour where he shared his pace and beautiful knowledge of the nature and all the growing plants. How they affects us and what we can use them for. We had a nurturing meal cooked by Jeffrey too. I recommend this place with my heart! We spend four days there and still have much left to experience. I went there solo-Mom with my 7 year young daughter and it was days of Paradise for us. Jem came to recieve us and took the first zip-Line rides with Tulsi which were a great welcome. Helpful place and hitchhiking amd busses are so recommended to do with a feeling of safety.
