Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Côme-de-Fresné

Maison idéale pour découvrir la région ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 3 nuits dans la jolie maison de Carole et Marc, située près de Bayeux – un emplacement parfait pour visiter les plages du Débarquement. La maison est très propre, confortable, bien équipée, et le calme des lieux est vraiment appréciable. Nous avons particulièrement aimé la terrasse, très agréable pour se détendre en fin de journée. L’arrivée était simple grâce à une boîte à clés, et nous avons ensuite eu le plaisir de rencontrer Carole et Marc, très accueillants et attentionnés. Nous étions une famille avec deux ados, et même si la maison ne dispose que d’une seule salle d’eau (ouverte sur la chambre), cela ne nous a pas posé de souci particulier – il suffit juste de s’organiser un peu. Un grand merci à Carole et Marc pour leur accueil – nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour.

Das Haus direkt am Meer was überwältigigend schön. Sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche Sehr gut ausgestattet von A wie Austernbrecher bis Z wie Zitronenpresse ,alles da um ausgiebig zu Kochen. Internet super schnell ! Es wurde an genügend Steckdosen und Leisten gedacht um elektronische Geräte bequem zu laden. Der Pelletofen ist leicht zu bedienen und bringt eine behagliche Atmosphäre, wenn es draußen stürmt und kalt ist. Die Umgebung ganz wunderbar zum Wandern und Fahrrad fahren. Kleiner Supermarkt in Quinéville. Weitere gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Quettehou ( auch prima Bioladen !) Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub!

There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. SUPER well equipped. The town is also amazing. It's the perfect home base for exploring the D-Day beaches/sites. Look... you'd be CRAZY not to book this property. So... what are you waiting for? vi (3 vuxna, 2 barn) bodde i stugan i 2 nätter och använde den som bas för utflykter i området kring landstigningsstränderna. Utsikten och läget är det allra bästa med boendet, även om det fanns allt annat vi behövde i boendet. Vi trivdes väldigt bra!

Lovely comfortable house in a quiet street a few minutes from the sea. Fanny and Isabelle were good hosts, communicating clearly. The house is nicely furnished, with a great garden, and has everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Recommended.

We had a lovely stay in Merville-Franceville, the house was exactly as described and was close to local shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The house was clean and spacious and the garden was a lovely peaceful space with the added bonus of a bbq which came in handy. All in all a lovely property in a great location.

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Il n’est pas facile de trouver un logement pour une réunion de famille ou amis. Ici tout y est. Nombre de chambres et lits, équipements de loisirs pour les petits et les grands, vaisselle sièges eux tout en nombre pour un grand groupe. C’est propre. Ma jardin est joli , comme la maison. The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Wir haben zu 6 (+Kleinkind und Hund) Weihnachten und Neujahr bei Marianne verbracht! Es ist ein schönes,gemütliches und modernes Haus mit Meerblick! Jedes Paar hat seinen eigenen Bereich inkl. Badezimmer. Der vollumzäunte Garten war super für unseren Hund und der Kamin hat die richtige Stimmung gebracht! Der Strand ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen! Mit dem Auto ist man schnell bei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ist relativ schnell an allen typischen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Normandie Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

We had a wonderful week in this property just outside of the town of Deauville. The house is located in a quiet suburban area with a Carrefour just a couple of minutes walk down the street which was very convenient. The large walled garden was great for the kids and the table tennis table, sun loungers, outdoor eating area, and table football all proved popular! The house itself is absolutely stunning - a beautiful traditional style timber framed building. The interior has a lot of exposed wood beams and very high quality furnishings. Everything that we needed was provided and we were very comfortable during our stay. The local town of Deauville has plenty going on including shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a pretty place with a harbour and some canals - lovely to be by the water. Between the house and Deauville is a wide sandy beach with stunning views along the coastline from Villers sur Mer to La Havre. Well worth a visit!

An absolute gem located less than a 2 minute walk from the historic Omaha beach. A perfect blend of modern home with traditional beach house great for large families. The hosts are incredibly nice and wonderfully easy to work with. A shining recommendation for anyone considering staying here!

Un grand merci à nos Hôtes. La maison, la vue, le cadre, tout y était exceptionnel. Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end-end entre amis et avec nos enfants, et nous garderons de beaux souvenirs, et ce, même si la météo n'était pas au RDV tous les jours !
