What a lovely old house , in a tiny peaceful village. We couldn't have had a nicer stop over on our trip from Portugal to Switzerland, and I enjoyed my birthday lazing and playing in the garden. The furnishings and kitchen are not modern, but the house is full of style and charm. Although early June, the house was cool at night and we used the amazing log burner. We were there on Whitsun Monday, and a lot of local shops and restaurants closed early, but we had a trip to the old hill top village of Usson, and bought the best ever chicken from a rotisserie in the nearby village. We didn't meet Sonia, but communication with her was very good and friendly.

The atypical accommodation was functional, clean and pleasant in this small Auvergne village. We spent 3 nights there, being invited to festivities in the village. Very happy, we recommend it.

The Aksent cottage is a small traditional marvel, renovated with excellent taste. The equipment necessary for a perfect stay is there, we were even able to enjoy rhododendrons in bloom in the garden. Very, very nice place!

We had the pleasure of staying in Sabine's chalet. This allowed us to take the accommodation earlier than the scheduled time, we still want to thank her. Peaceful accommodation, with a beautiful view. The pool is really a positive point in this heat. Sabine also gave us very good advice for restaurants and the small hazards of travel. Sylvie and her husband are very welcoming people, very sunny studio with a view of a beautiful terrace with a very large pool and mountain views, very good bedding, very complete kitchen equipment, spacious bathroom, bath towels provided with basic necessities. Private parking space, Sylvie and her husband do everything to make your stay pleasant, in short you will have understood I had a real crush on this studio.

Very good exchanges with Vincent who provided us with a complete guide beforehand (description of the accommodation, operation of the stove, recommendations nearby, etc.). The house is completely tastefully renovated and quality equipment (appliances). It is also very well insulated (sound and thermal) and the stove is very efficient. The cottage is also very well equipped (both in terms of equipment and board game boxes!). The environment is very quiet and not noisy at all. We had a great time, the kids loved the house! We would definitely recommend Magali and Vincent's place.

We had a lovely stay despite the fickle weather. The cottage is located in a very peaceful environment, offering many opportunities for walks and hikes, whether directly from the doorstep as if taking the car for about twenty minutes maximum. The listing and its amenities are perfectly as described. The enclosed lot surrounding the cottage is optimal if, like us, you are traveling with your dog!! Hervé is very responsive and kind. Very nice chalet, bright, quiet, and tastefully renovated. Special mention for the foosball and the jacuzzi! The chalet is quiet, and close to shops and activities. It is perfect for discovering Auvergne and Sancy. Sarah's welcome is great, smile and advice guaranteed. As you can see, we highly recommend this accommodation! Our children too!

If you want to go to disconnect and recharge in the depths of the forest, this is the perfect place! The place is wonderful, the birds are singing and you can hear the water flowing below. The house is very warm. This experience also teaches us to manage our energy (electricity and water), solar panels. I advise you to bring headlamps and candles to light your way, in case of lack of sun. Candlelight enhances the atmosphere. I recommend that you travel light and be at least somewhat athletic, because the access to the hut is steep. In short, I highly recommend this place, I will come back! I highly recommend the accommodation offered by Maodez, the location is ideal for discovering the region and hiking, the environment is quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. It is well-equipped to spend a few days there and communication with the host was excellent. Thank you again.
