Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Nous avons passé trois jours et deux nuits dans le magnifique studio d’Anne-Marie et Paul, et nous comptons bien y revenir dès que possible. Un véritable petit cocon, très bien équipé et idéalement situé dans un environnement calme et idyllique. Et quelle vue depuis la terrasse ! Nous avons profité de belles balades tout autour du village, et notre chien Marcus était aux anges. Que dire de l’accueil chaleureux et de la gentillesse d’Anne-Marie et Paul ? Nous nous sommes tout simplement sentis en famille. Anne-Marie a même pris le temps de partir en promenade avec nous, accompagnée de son adorable chien Jojo, pour nous faire découvrir les alentours. Mention spéciale pour les petites attentions qui font toute la différence : des œufs frais des poules de la maison, des bières bien fraîches et de délicieuses cerises nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Bref, allez-y les yeux fermés : ce n’est vraiment pas un Airbnb comme les autres.

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

We had a brilliant stay! Tosha and Robert were absolutely fantastic — friendly, responsive, and so thoughtful. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and set in gorgeous surroundings. They went above and beyond to accommodate our 18-month-old, providing a stair gate, cot, and high chair, which made everything so much easier for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

This was one of the most amazing, if not the most amazing, air bnb experiences I have ever had. First, the location is incredible. You feel like you were placed in the middle of an ethereal countryside with nothing but rolling hills, the sound of birds, a gentle breeze and an occasional hello from the hosts smiling sweet dog Ella. Second, the house itself is exactly like the pictures on the listing, if not more beautiful in person. You can tell Sara has worked as a designer because the interior decor is stunning. Everything is so comfortable and clean and forces you into a state of relaxation immediately. Lastly, Sara herself is an angel. She will do anything in her power to make sure your stay is as peaceful and stress free as possible. I have never had a more helpful yet non-invasive host on Airbnb. If you are looking for a magical retreat into the gorgeous French countryside I couldn’t recommend this place more. I would plan a trip back to France simply for this air BnB. 1000/10!!

On a passé une semaine reposantes. Endroit paisible, belle maison en pierres avec grand (très grand) jardin et piscine. Literie confortable, tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner, les indispensables bébé à notre disposition (lit, baignoire, table à langer, jeux), lieux très propres. Hôtes gentils, avenants, amicaux. On a même eu droit à des légumes de leur maraîchage bio! Boulangerie à 2 minutes en voiture, à 15 min de Perigueux.

Je recommande à 100%! Très jolie maison, chaleureuse, agréable, très propre. Anne-Lise est une super hôte, très réactive et de bon conseil pour visiter les environs. A mis chemin entre Bergerac et Périgueux, charmant village avec pas mal d'activité et beaucoup de visites dans les alentours.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis à notre arrivée, avec la proposition d’office de quitter un peu plus tard le logement que prévu car non loué le lendemain (je le précise car c’est super agréable et ça nous a beaucoup dépanné!). Le logement est impeccable, une literie royale et très confortable qui nous a fait regretter de ne pas rester plus longtemps. Tout le nécessaire est fourni dans la maison, vous n’avez qu’à poser vos valises. A l’extérieur, un immense jardin et une très belle piscine à disposition, qui sont plus qu’appréciables le matin au réveil. Encore un immense merci pour votre accueil, vous méritez vos nombreux avis très positifs ! Une belle adresse à retenir et un gite dans lequel vous pouvez aller les yeux fermés.

We hebben een super fijn verblijf gehad bij Daniel en Claire, mooie gite met welgekomen zwembad, mooie omgeving om te wandelen en te fietsen, maar vooral de rust en ontwaken met enkel het geluid van de vogels was voor ons super genieten, onze hond Ziggy heeft ook genoten en voelde zich zeer welkom. Kortom, echt een aanrader!

Si vous recherchez de la tranquillité en famille, c'est un endroit idéal. Piscine, Table de Ping Pong, Balançoire, BBQ, Trampoline, Terrain de Tennis. Il y a de nombreuses activités sur place. De notre terrasse, presque quotidiennement le matin et le soir, nous pouvions voir les chevreuils vebir brouter dans les prairies à quelques mètres. Si vous aimez les ballades et l'aventure, il y a de nombreux petits chemins à explorer dans les bois environnant. Nous avons passé donc un très bon moment en famille.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

Notre séjour a été très agréable, nous en gardons un excellent souvenir ! Aucune mauvaise surprise car tout était conforme aux descriptions et instructions ; au contraire, nous étions ravis de la qualité d'accueil proposée avec ce charmant logement, qui est joliment décoré et agencé, très bien équipé à tous niveaux (intérieur et extérieur). La literie est très confortable. Anne a été très réactive, et flexible sur notre horaire de départ. Tout était parfait !

Une parenthèse enchantée !!! Comment vous dire !! C est un paradis sur terre , Céline et Christel sont adorables. Une communication très facile et très agréable. Ils ont su faire un havre de paix qui vous emmène dans un univers hors du temps pour vous reposer . Tout est fait avec goût dans le moindre détail . C est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Et la terrasse est très agréable pour les repas et la détente. Si vous aimez la nature et la tranquillité , réservez vite . Encore un grand merci à vous pour se moment.

we loved our stay at Elsa's place. it's set in beautiful surroundings and everything was as described. well equipped and everything you need. the pool is the icing on the cake! very responsive host who can't do enough to help you and who knows how to respect your privacy. we only wish we'd booked longer!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Marc et Denise, qui sont de supers hôtes. Le cadre est superbe, le logement est charmant, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. N'hésitez pas à réserver leur table d'hôte, vous allez vous régaler ! C'est aussi très bien situé, vous trouverez de nombreuses escapades touristiques dans les alentours. Nous recommandons grandement leur gîte :)

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans ce magnifique logement. Le logement était propre, luxueux et répondait à toutes nos attentes. L'environnement est magnifique, paisible et naturel et convient parfaitement à une famille. La piscine était fantastique, tout comme la vue sur la vallée. C'était un plaisir de regarder le soleil se coucher tous les jours depuis la piscine ou le balcon. Tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin dans la maison pour passer des vacances reposantes est là. Jessyca était très sympathique et répondait rapidement aux questions. Nous nous sommes bien amusés et nous pouvons recommander un séjour à tout le monde.

Je kan je geen betere gastheer wensen dan Arnaud! Pro actief of alles naar wens is, of informerend of hulp nodig is. Via de app om je rust en privacy te respecteren, maar nemen de tijd voor een gesprek als je dat wilt. De accommodatie is nieuw en gezellig ingericht met oog voor details. Wij voelden ons er gelijk thuis! De dikke muren houden warmte buiten en je kan er een goede nachtrust hebben in de heerlijke bedden en goede geluidsisolatie. De ligging is gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van de vele bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Er is al veel over geschreven in de introductie van Arnoud en Elodie, maar als je lekker rustig wilt zwemmen, aan de kant wilt relaxen en in de schaduw onder de bomen wilt liggen met een horeca voorziening erbij, ga dan naar Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. Ook het plaatsje Monpazier is zeker de moeite waard! Normaal liggen supermarkten kilometers ver weg maar in deze plaats is er eentje op 900 meter. Arnoud, Elodie, dank voor de heerlijke tijd!!

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. I rented this home to enjoy some family and friend time away from otherwise hectic French travel. This was perfect! It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend or family member. And, the host recommended a private chef who provided cooking lessons and a birthday luncheon! Unforgettable!! Unlike any other Airbnb property for its charming hosts, the beautiful character of the property and the amenities we enjoyed. Lots of nearby wineries, Bergerac had great charm and food, boat ride on the Dordogne, and more. No one wanted to leave! We hope to return!! Merci beaucoup, Karen & Charlie!!

We had a wonderful stay at Amandine and François’s property. The accommodation was spacious and clean, and both the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The pool and the views from the terrace were gorgeous. Amandine and François were lovely hosts, and gave some helpful recommendations for the area. Thank you for a great stay!
