Look out the window and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and nature this area of the Dordogne has to offer. Keep an eye out for deer, owls, red squirrels and many more. We are directly opposite the river beach of Saint Aulaye and on the edge of this historic old village. Wander up the hill to the boulangerie, shops and weekly market. Launderette facilities available in the village.

It has its own entrance, kitchen, dining and living room space with original stone Charantais fireplace and a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The large windows take advantage of the stunning countryside views and spectacular sunrises. If you are a fan of wildlife you will not be disappointed with regular visitors of deer, red squirrels, migrating cranes and a favourite of ours, the hoopoe.

New ! In Aubeterre sur Dronne, labeled "Most beautiful villages in France", nestled on the side of limestone cliffs with its houses with wooden balconies and steep streets. TOURALBA offers accommodation in the heart of the village, at the foot of the castle, in the former home of Ludovic TRARIEUX (Minister of Justice 1895) It is also possible to rent 2 other apartments in the same building, allowing up to 14 travelers to be accommodated (Poterne: 6 people and Barque Fleurie: 4 people).

Hiking, golf, tennis, horse riding and cycling. 2 major bathing areas at the bicycle distance from the house. 2 minute walk to the local bakery and restaurants. The house offers a nice garden, several nice patios. Perfect for a family/group of 7-9.
