Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint Albans District

Thank you so much for renting to us. We visit Abbot's Langley a lot, (it used to be our home town), and it was perfect to stay at this location to visit family. The hosts were very helpful and responsive and even dropped off a fan as we were struggling with the heat in the UK and no AC. We are planning to return next month and will definitely book again.

Fantastic property. Immaculate condition. Great location, only minutes walk to the town centre. We're staying here again in a couple of weeks and I'm so please we are!

We enjoyed our stay in the house; it was beautiful inside and an amazing location. The lounge and kitchen were lovely, with a great little garden at the back. The main bedroom was huge, with a walk in dressing room. The second bedroom in the loft was a lot smaller, with a double bed and bedside tables only. Overall I would recommend this place.

We were really glad to find a place like this for our stay. Great location, very close to the Airport. Marlon was friendly and made sure the house was clean and tidy for our arrival.

Great stay at Chris and Helen place. The house was beautiful and super comfy beds and lovely dining area. We had a great stay! A pub right across the road was a great convenience and the neighbourhood was very peaceful and quiet. There were markets on in the town on the weekend and lots of great restaurants to explore. We cannot wait to come back again! ☺️

Back Door Cottage was perfect for our short stay in the area. Everything had been planned and thought through so carefully and imaginatively. The equipment and facilities were particularly impressive, especially given the cosy size of the cottage. It all worked very well and we were very comfortable. Thank you, Lynne, for providing such a great, temporary home for our visit.

We had a wonderful short break in this apartment. It was perfectly situated for the town and the railway station for quick and easy access into London. Nicki was a great host with helpful communication prior to our arrival. The apartment was clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen . Bathroom had a good shower . The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had lots of useful storage space. All in all a great place to stay and lovely and peaceful to return to after a busy day sightseeing. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

The apartment was excellent and the village was charming with a good selection of restaurants, pubs, a small supermarket and a cafe. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and had everything you need even for a long stay. Janine was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful location close to London and Hertfordshire attractions. We found Heather Ann's upstairs flat to be very clean, with easy instructions for entry. The hosts are very friendly and were on hand for any queries. Highly recommend as a good base for the local area.

I told her while in there that her place is immaculate and that the truth. She’s always available and the surroundings are beautiful. Totally private too. In my opinion it’s 5 star unit.

Great location and perfect accommodations for our 2 night stay. Easy to walk to pubs and restaurants and shopping nearby. Parking available at the house was key for us.

Sandra was a wonderful host and was very prompt in answering any queries. Her flat was gorgeous and very homey. It was in a quiet area. However would suggest anyone staying there to hv a car to move around as it’s quite a distant to public transportation. If you hv a car then this flat is highly recommended as parking is free and available.

We had a great stay at Sarah's place. It's tucked away from the road so could have been tricky to find, but the directions were great. Sarah met us at check in and made us feel at home. The apartment itself was clean and bright. There's plenty of natural light and a lovely view over the garden. The living room/kitchen area is much more spacious than the pictures show, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is great to reach the train station and the pub in walking distance was quite nice. The train line is relatively nearby so there is a bit of train noise, but for the space you get, convenience of the location and overall experience, its only a minor thing. The sound didn't keep any of us awake but you could hear the sound of passing trains. We'd definitely stay again and would recommend the place to any friends travelling to the area.

We had a very comfortable stay. The high quality accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed and more, . Diana was the perfect host who made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. A bonus in the hot weather when we stayed was the air conditioning. The views from the Garden Room are stunning as are the beautiful well kept gardens. We hope to return again in the future. Highly recommended and good value.

Always a great stay with Hajnalka, place is well maintained, well looked after and it’s always got a welcoming nice energy and vibe to the place. Will definitely be back again.

Emily was very friendly and was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Emily’s flat was very well located, just a few minutes walk to many restaurants, bars and shopping. The flat was very modern, clean and warm. I would recommend staying here.
