Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saimaa

We have stayed a total of 8 times on the canal with a large group. It is easy to find, check-in at your own time is easy and effortless. The setting is beautiful, with the best place to follow the seasons. The floor plan of the house is good. The bedrooms are upstairs and the common areas are downstairs. A larger group can sit at the large dining table. The living room can also accommodate a larger group. Iida always responds quickly, making it easy to agree on things. Effortless living and life in Lappeenranta in Onni, Kanal. I💎 recommend it with warmth❤️

Cozy tidy house in a nice location, perfect for our group's weekend stay. The host responded to messages very quickly, and we thought the price/quality ratio was excellent.

Very nice place to stay! We stayed 3 nights and we loved it! Perfect for some relax with a lot of walkable routes, the sauna in the house and right on the lake. The only problem we had was with the wifi, who wasn’t really working. We can definitely recommend this place :)

My husband thought it was so lovely and homey at Sirpa's place that could always live there! Definitely worth the price! For once, a cozy Airbnb apartment with no miraculous Airbnb tunes, it was just a normal and beautiful apartment. Everything was perfect for us and the little dog, also calm and good jogging terrain. Sirpa was a flexible and friendly host.

Lovely place right by the lake. Great sauna and easy to swim in the lake. Kitchen has everything needed for cooking. Bed is super comfortable and the views from inside area amazing. Very beautiful, peaceful and quiet location, would definitely stay again!

We stayed at the cabin for 1/2 week. Communication with the host was straightforward. The photos and other information describe the cabin well. The property is located around 6 km from the center of Kangasniemi and away. Directly from the cottage you can reach a recommended and marked forest path bike route from the tourist info (there is the plan), a nature trail for hiking can be found about 2-3 km south of the town center. For dance fans, the dance floor "Syvälahti" is a worthwhile destination on the weekend evenings. The instructions and notes in a folder in the cabin were helpful.

Very cozy cottage with no end of space: You can spend time in a spacious cottage, veranda, terrace, home, yard, beach, lake. From the yard sauna, a short walk to the beach, which, due to its depth and dark water, is not suitable for toddlers to swim. Beautifully decorated and put together that you wouldn't want to leave🙂.

Visa & Noora were very gracious hosts. They responded to messages very quickly and comprehensively. Their instructions were also extensive and varied. The place is really nice and quiet, so we got to ourselves. Very good for a large group with space for everyone and things to do! Strong recommendation for hosts and the listing!

Awesome place and great host. We had some problems with the electricity, but Teemu handled it quite fast - during the Christmas days.

A great place for calming and grounding in the midst of nature. Great sauna and nice fire pit. It was easy to do business with Lotta, and the instructions were clear about everything. We had a camping stove with us and I recommend it to others, so you don't necessarily have to use a wood stove for coffee soup or other small heating. None of the insects hurt us, even though we didn't use repellents - the mosquito season is clearly already behind us. We hope you get the chance to come again!

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

The place was cozy and in a nice location. It actually looked even nicer than in the pictures. The sauna had wonderful, gentle steam. The details were thought to work and everywhere there were neat and nice details. We were warmly welcomed. Add children's toys and a nice grill house with new grills.

A peaceful place in the heart of nature by the lake. Wood-fired sauna, ready-made rafts, a large dock and a magnificent lake. The persimmon was blooming and the cuckoos were announcing themselves. The wren lived in a birdhouse. I would have liked to stay longer.

A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

We had a lovely 3 day stay here and just didn’t want to leave,it was so calm and peaceful, gave us time to relax and recharge and enjoy each others company after a busy few days around Helsinki. The days just flew by with kayaking, rowing, sauna, dips in the lake and BBQ’s etc, we loved the rustic charm of the cabin and facilities and never got board of the amazing Lakeland view.

The cottage was in a great location in privacy! I would have loved to have stayed here longer. The sauna provided good steam and there was just the right amount of space in the cottage. The dog was also comfortable with freedom and a shallow beach where you could wade. Highly recommended!

Gentle steam in maybe the nicest sauna we've been to. 😀 Just the kind of sauna we should be in a 👏Lovely cottage and an atmospheric outhouse - what else does a person need for their weekend 👌 Plus some really quick help with the heater ☺️

Everything went smoothly and the place was beautiful. The cottage was neat when we arrived and otherwise a charming ensemble. It was a wonderful holiday.

The place was exactly as described- a wonderful nature experience! Wood-burning sauna on the lake- with board and boat on the road was fun. We visited Savonlinna and Lappeenranta. The communication was quick and easy. We'd love to come back. Thank you Marita
