it was just great. we were warmly welcomed by Clara and she was always available for us at all times and helped us. The place was as advertised and it was a super quiet and family environment and atmosphere. Just great! we would come back and recommend it too. thank you very much!!

This place is truly special. The view from the cave is breathtaking. In the end, it's even quite luxurious to have running hot water in such a secluded area and a well-equipped kitchen. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the seclusion very much. We were also lucky that there were no day visitors or neighbors in Acusa Seca. So we had the rocks to ourselves. The cave is simply and tastefully furnished. Everything was very clean. The beds are comfortable!. The kitchen has everything you need. A great experience!

Everything was spotless, even where you don't normally look. The apartment is super nice. Because it is half built into the rock, it is also pleasantly cool when it is hot outside. The view from the terrace is AMAZING.

The house is perfect for enjoying the village and its surroundings. You can walk to the basic amenities. Artenara is a unique environment and the house allows you to enjoy it with all amenities.

Very nice and charming cave home right at the water. Big windows with an inner patio, so lots of daylight in the main room. Quiet and away from mass tourism. 2 supermarkets just around the corner and a few small restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Marta!

We had an amazing stay with four people. The house was very clean and it has a gorgeous garden with amazing views. It's a great to use as a base for exploring Madeira.

I have no words. Finding Amnas listing was a true treasure, the trip would be nothing in comparison without it. I think this was the best solo trip I have ever gone on and all thanks to Amna. Such an incredible soul , what a beautiful family. I am beyond grateful to have met her and to take the journey to experience her ancestral home in the mountains of Douiret. She made the most delicious and rich cous cous on our picnic in the olive tree oasis. We went on a beautiful hike in the mountains. The cave was so warm and cozy, and thanks to the hotel next door for allowing us to use their restroom and shower. And the view when you wake up in the cave is a dream, you are one with the horizon and It is so peaceful, and calm. Amna went above and beyond to welcome me and help me with logistics to getting there and guide me. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you, thank you thank you! So much love. Staying in the cave was a unique and amazing experience – just like in the pictures! Everything was very well explained, and we felt taken care of from the start. I would definitely recommend it to others. The only small downside was that the water pressure in the shower was quite weak, but overall it didn’t affect the great experience.

We loved our stay at Casa Lima. It was so peaceful and there were lots of stunning walks right on the doorstep. The house was exactly as described and we loved the cave bedrooms. We would definitely stay at Casa Lima again.

Shmuel was an amazing host and really went way above and beyond with going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. He also is extremely communicative with any question you might have. The tzimmer(villa) was the perfect place for my wife and I and our 2 kids. It’s in the heart of the old city and a really nice place. Would definitely recommend to anyone and give it a 5 star.

This is a perfect place for escape and mindfulness. Lionel was really proactive with relevant local information - sending accurate Komoot walking routes in the local area. It is exactly how they describe it, other than they DO provide the essentials. It is 5* as a place to be, but remember it is a cave location so don’t expect hotel style luxury. If you enjoy nature, walking, beautiful views and escapism then this is the place for you. Wise to have a backpack for transferring your luggage up the pathway to the property. Lionel was the most reliable and responsive host.

I was allowed to stay for two weeks. The hosts are very nice and also live nearby. You can make very nice hikes from the property. You can easily get to Las Palmas from San Lorenzo and also shop in the village. The highlight was the cave where I slept every day.

Authentic, very peaceful and atypical place. We had a lot of fun discovering this place, it feels good directly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in a quiet place and out of the ordinary.

The Hide-out we’ve been looking for! We will definitely come here again if and when it suits our travelplans. What an experience, wow! A fairytale-like accommodation on the side of the mountain, completely embedded in lush greenery. Very tastefully decorated and furnished room and cozy outdoor area. Clean and fresh to the highest standard and also a little fridge in the room! Ángel really excelled as an AirBnB host and took very good care of us during our stay. Quick to respond when we had any questions before arrival and gave good tips on excursions/hiking trails. In the kitchen he showed skills and served breakfasts that were like dreams, all accompanied by breathtaking views of the ravine. We were also able to pre-order very delicious dinners at a reasonable cost. That said, we have stayed in many places throughout our 30-year travel/vacation history, but La Cueva Ángel B&B is clearly on the podium and deserves several return visits! nice place if you love the moutain and want to be far from the city noise.

Very quiet and comfortable cave place to stay.I have stayed at other cave hotels and I thought this was the best. The view is beautiful as you can see, but it is not a tourist destination and you can stay with peace of mind without being too far from the city.Only a few meters from the road to home are not paved but would be safe to access with a normal car that is not 4WD. There is no Superhost verification, but I think this place, facilities, and hospitality are worth it.(It may be that there are few people staying because it is difficult to access) The sunset scenery that you climbed up the nearby hills is really beautiful and you will never forget it in a lifetime.I wish we could have stayed another day and enjoyed the trek. Meals are also recommended.Go hungry to eat hearty couscous with Ayube!

Staying here was nice! We found it per the nice video instructions provided. Shosh was very amendable to us as we had to change our number days of staying. And helped us work through Airbnb to get that fixed. Overall very happy with the place it was exactly as pictured and described

We only spent a very brief but fantastic time at ‘Castillo Lanzarote’, staying in Villa Bentley’ Check in/out was very simple with very clear instructions but do be aware this delightful villa is located on the side of a steep hill so has many steps and different levels to it which I think bring it wonderful character but not ideal for those with mobility issues. The villa itself is very beautifully and cleverly laid out over numerous levels, built literally into the side of the hill. The pool is a much welcomed dip on a hot day and with its stunning views down to the coast, is fantastic. The villa has all the amenities you need with the surprise welcome of a dishwasher as we cooked a few meals ‘at home’. We had a hire car which was very handy as the villa is situated around 15 mins drive from the main (and if I’m honest, rather grotty) Puerto del Carmen. I would personally suggest exploring nearby Playa Blanca/Costa Teguise and Puerto Calero.

We had a great time at Baptiste's place. Our nights in the cave were exceptional. This timeless moment was very refreshing. Baptiste is a very nice and friendly person. Thank you Baptiste for these beautiful exchanges and your valuable advice.❤️
