Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saguache County

This was our second time staying here so that says a lot already. We will definitely come back! For anyone who may not know (we learned this last year) you might consider avoiding Crestone altogether between mid June and mid July (ish) as the mosquitoes are unlike anything you’ve probably ever seen. But at any other time, Crestone is a delightful destination, and this is a perfect place to stay to enjoy the peace and quiet it offers.

We had a blast in Crestone! Dawn’s place was very comfortable, and we felt completely safe despite being in a remote rural area. One of the highlights was the opportunity to stargaze and see the Milky Way with the naked eye—the night skies here are incredibly dark (and we didn’t encounter any wild animals!). We highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys adventure, tranquility, and being close to Great Sand Dunes National Park.

I had a wonderful stay at Brittney's space - ideal for a weekend away. Her local recommendations were great and housing instructions very helpful due to google maps getting wonky. Brittney's space is serene, clean and beautiful. I loved her unique and plant happy space. Thank you for having me!

This is a great historical home with a lot of charm! It worked perfectly for our family!! Close to downtown and very walkable. We loved it and would stay again!

Everett's property in Silvef Cliff, CO was super clean, fully equipped for a nice stay, and in a great location on the edge of town with amazing views. Everett is very responsive and ensures his guests have a great visit.

Very nice and clean home with beautiful scenic views 360 degrees. The hot tub was peaceful and hot. It’s a perfect space for stargazing at night. The whole home was very open and kid friendly.

The Mill Cabin Suite in Creede, CO was a perfect, cozy, comfortable and quiet stay for the two of us. It is ideally located on the edge of town, out of the main traffic pattern, and within walking distance of the market, restaurants and stores. It is is quaintly appointed with old Colorado mining town decor. In fact the bedroom is an actual reconstructed old small family cabin! The whole place was hand built by Jenna’s husband, Chev. You could tell that they really cared because of all the small, but very appreciated, small personal touches - fresh flowers, candles, welcome sign on fridge handmade with ball magnets, full info sheet, list of restaurants, lots of local brochures, personal hand written welcome note, hand laid flagstone floor in bathroom with hand hewn heart, etc. Both Jenna and Chev were very warm, friendly, super responsive and helpful. We even chatted for a bit over coffee and cookies. This will be our go to place in Creede. Cathy & Joe R.

Christina & Bill's place was a great getaway for my wife, dog, and I! Great peaceful basecamp for checking out Crestone, the Sangre de Cristos and Sand Dunes. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

This was far and away the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The apartment is in immaculate condition and incredibly clean. I truly felt at home and didn’t find myself wanting for anything. On top of the amazing amenities, Gregory, the host, was extremely kind and very prompt to respond to the few inquires I had. If you are looking for a place to stay when you visit Creede, look no further. In the future, if I am fortunate enough to draw another unit 76 tag, I will absolutely stay here again.

Great place for a short stay and overall well put together. It was clean and it had a great vibe.

Nicely decorated apartment right in the center of town. On the ground floor however there are a few steps up to the door. The kitchen was very pretty and we appreciated having two bathrooms and two bedrooms for a party of three. The owners were easy to contact and quickly responded to our questions before our stay.

What a beautiful place to stay. The house is a perfect set up with everything you could need. Nice porch to set on and enjoy the amazing view of the mountains. The host was very friendly and responsive, as well as taking the time to clean our car when it snowed. Host with big hearts. There is no dought that we will be back to visit again. No need to look any further this is the place to stay.

This is our second time staying here and it was wonderful again!! The beds were so comfortable and the bunkhouse was very clean! Bianca was very resposive and provides cool places to stay! We left an item there and contacted her after check out and she was so very helpful getting it back! I cant say enough good things about our host! Plus the bunkhouse is decorated really cool and very spacious! Thanks again and we will definitely be back!
