We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

We stayed at Rui's and we loved the house, better than in the photos! the house is very beautiful and lacks nothing, small welcome basket very nice,thank you very much! we were with our baby , they are prepared his little bed with blankets and a special towel for him, it's very friendly on your part very clean and very well furnished ☺️ house. it was a wonderful stay! we'll come back, that's for sure. Lovely little Quinta in Granja (near Guarda). Maria is a sweet lady who lives on the ground floor while the apartment is on the entire top floor of the house. My family and I enjoyed living in a proper Portuguese farm! The apartment was very clean and exactly like in the pics. The only issue was that I had some difficulty finding the place since Google Maps did not recognize the address provided. Better to request for Google Maps location from Maria/Martha beforehand.

Maria Emilia's house is a nook of peace and quiet. I spent two months in December and January and everything was great! The house is well equipped with everything necessary for an excellent family vacation stay! Maria is a super host. I highly recommend!

Such a beautiful little house. The setting is paradise. View out the front window is spectacular. The town is peaceful and the neighbours are very friendly. The house had everything we needed for a couple with a small dog. The owner left milk, delicious bread, butter and condiments as well as local jam and honey. The bed was large, lots of English TV stations if you like that, internet was fast. The highway to get there is a series of million dollar views. 3 minute drive from a small beach with a crystal clear stream to swim in that we had all to ourselves all week. Sitting out front drinking coffee is an orchestra of birds singing. Nights are silent, we slept like babies. The owner let us check in early and the manager was there to meet us and show us how everything worked. After that, total privacy. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was top quality and modern. We will definitely be back.

The cozy cottage, suitable for two people, is located just outside the town of Gouveia. Rural. Due to the good description, it was still useful to find. Carlota communicated perfectly. Beautiful covered terrace, and large orchard. Lots of outdoor space, quiet.

Bucolic and isolated site with its own access to the clean water stream. At the end of the day, two Serra da Estrela probably attracted by the smell of the barbecue 😆

The photos don't do justice to the beauty and area of the house! Very nice space, with several leisure areas, interior patios, tastefully decorated! The area where the pool is located (500 meters from the accommodation, in a very nice park) is huge, with trampolines, swings, hammocks and dining tables. Juncais' location is perfect for trips to other locations in the Serra. We loved it!

Optimal stay, spectacular place for a few days with the family, rest and sightseeing. I recommend it 100%. Carmo is a spectacular host.

Casa de Manteigas is a perfect base to explore the fabulous Serra Da Estrela. Deceptively spacious, very comfy bedrooms and plush new bathrooms. The balcony means that you can sit outside with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and enjoy views over the village. We would highly recommend and plan on returning.
