It was an adorable cabin! Our daughter loves the beach. We take her every year and this was our favorite cabin so far. You could see the water from the porch. We absolutely loved the screened in porch. It was perfect for our kids. It had everything we needed and we had the best time.

Overall had a great stay! A few things to note for future b&bers: The only staircase is a black spiral staircase, which was a little difficult for our older family members to manage. The cooking utensils/food storage is a bit on the sparse side, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/having leftovers, you may want to bring some cheap plastic Tupperware! The bbq grill/beach gear leaves a lot to be desired! It has definitely seen the wear and tear of previous guests. Which isn’t a big deal, but not something to depend on using without some TLC. Overall our stay was amazing. It’s a dream location with amazing beach access. The beds were phenomenal, and I will miss how comfortable it was. Shannon was an amazing host and left fresh flowers and apothecary items for us leaving the whole place smelling amazing our whole visit. I would absolutely recommend Mermaid manor to anyone visiting the area!

This is our fifth time staying at Patrick’s house. This stay, like all the others, was a great experience. It’s a perfect location with a great fishing dock. It’s a quiet, peaceful setting and not too far from Galveston. The house is nice and comfortable. Patrick is quick to address any concerns and is always responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

This was our second stay at Ramona’s and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The addition of the “Cowboy” pool put it over the top. Ramona is a lovely person and fantastic host. She’s responsive and leaves very clear instructions, making check-in and check-out a breeze! The interior of the home is beautifully and uniquely decorated, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. And to repeat myself, the “Cowboy” pool was AWESOME. We spent all afternoon outside because the pool remained nice and cool. My family had a fun and restful stay at Ramona’s and we will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at this cozy little house—perfect for a couple’s getaway. The kitchen was well-stocked, which made it easy to prepare our own meals. The living room was comfortable, with a nice sofa and TV equipped with streaming services for relaxing evenings in. The bathroom was simple but perfectly functional—everything we needed to clean up after a day out. The bed was very comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. Chelsea’s directions for check-in were direct and easy to follow, which made arriving a breeze. The town itself is quiet and doesn’t have a lot of dining or activities, but it’s a peaceful place to unwind, and there are other towns nearby with more options. The beach is also not far, although we didn’t get a chance to visit this time. All in all, it was a great spot for some downtime and a cozy retreat for two!

We absolutely loved staying at the Peacock Apartment. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures. All the reviews gushing about this place are true. The hostess was kind and understanding with our check-in, and it really was like a little Paradise in the middle of the city. The location is very easy to get to and close to a freeway. There are a lot of markets close by if you want to cook at home. We stayed in every morning and just enjoyed the gardens. There were also a lot of rocking chairs so it was so nice to just laze about. We will definitely be coming back here specifically the next time we come to Houston. Thank you so much Selia!!!

I really loved how central the location was. I could easily get to Midtown and surrounding neighborhoods in under 15–20 minutes. The studio itself was super cute and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The decor was lovely, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, even recommending nearby stores when I needed something. Everything was seamless from start to finish. I’d definitely consider staying here again!

Absolutely a gem!!!!! LOCATION!!!LOCATION!!! LOCATION!!! The Zen Den was so adorable, perfect for a couples getaway. Very well put together and the aesthetic was just fabulous. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable, relaxing, central location place. The Zen Den it is. You will not regret your stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved that we were less than 10min to everything. Especially a skip and hop away from one of our favorite, Gaido's restaurant. Definitely will book again. This is a perfect place to getaway for an extended stay or even a quick weekend. The home is very clean and well maintained. They provide all the basic essentials you could need during your stay. The location is phenomenal, right on the seawall with a relaxing and peaceful view. We really enjoyed this trip and felt very much at home. We wish we didnt have to leave, but definitely enjoyed the visit! Thanks Jamie and Vince for such an enjoyable experience. We will definitely be coming back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Bob & Jing’s condo. The view is breathtaking! The place was very clean and had updated features. We loved relaxing on the balcony, watching the sunrise, and catching a few fish. There is a restaurant in walking distance so we never had to leave. It’s the perfect relaxing getaway! Can’t wait to plan our next visit!

The only negative I can say about it is that the street between the condo unit and the beach is quite busy and noisy, but we knew the street was there from the pictures so we weren’t surprised.

Terra and Darin’s place was absolutely perfect for our little girls getaway trip. The unit was exactly as described, very clean and had easy access to parking AND the beach. And it was VERY well stocked. Communication was fast and they even allowed us a little leeway on the arrival time. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a beachfront unit in the Galveston area.

The condo is well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and bathroom amenities. There is also a chest on the balcony containing a variety of recreational items for the beach. And there's a full-sized washer and dryer. I'll keep this on my list when I return.

This is a beautiful, well decorated condo (very up-to-date) with more than adequate amenities. The check-in was incredibly easy, Daniel and Sam were very communicative without being intrusive, and as a bonus they had a Keurig coffee pot which was a combination unit with drip coffee and K-Pods. The a/c was great, the hot water was hot and plentiful, there were lots of towels, including very nice beach towels, adequate cleaning supplies, and with the rooms being divided like they are there is plenty of privacy when you wanted some alone time. If you were wanting to go to the pool you can peek out of the cute round window! Access to the elevator was easy which was really great travling with a toddler. Best of all though is the view. This unit is right across Seawall Boulevard from the beach so we spent hours watching the ships on the horizon, the people walking on the beach - you definitely felt on vacation the minute you walked in.
