A firm favourite for a cozy drink by a roaring Inglenook fire, and an excellent lunch and dinner menu. Views, ask to sit at (or at least see) the table with a deep brick well in it!

Park at the end of the Hambledon valley, just before the right turn at the T-junction on the road between Marlow and Henley-on-Thames. Walk towards the river and down to the lock. Interesting walk across the weir. Nice walks in either direction along picturesque stretches of this part of the River Thames. A nice ride along to Henley if you have bikes with you.
