Here you can enjoy a relaxing stay in Aachen and explore the beautiful, scenic and culturally diverse environment. The apartment consists of a beautiful, large and bright combinated bed-living room, a small walk-in clothes closet and a large bathroom. You enter the apartment on a private side entrance of our family home. In warm weather, it is possible to have breakfast on your private patio or to enjoy a coffee or wine, etc. On the patio you'll find table, chairs, a large sunshade and a classical beach chair in which you can use every sunbeam. The apartment has a total of about 25 square meters (plus terrace). The living room / bedroom is equipped with - A double bed (1.40 x 2.00m), - Table for eating or writing (not in the photos) - Leather Armchair - round glass table - A black (glossy) Sideboard, - 30 "LED TV with Satellite Receivers - Hi-fi system (2.1) with DVD player and iPhone dock, - A compact hotel fridge, - A microwave with built-in barbecue - Kettle and - Nespresso Machine - Wardrobe - Hardwood floors and natural stone flooring in the bathroom - Underfloor Heating - blinds etc.. We love this quiet, green district of Aachen, because we are very quickly in the old city of Aachen and in the countryside from here. Ein kleines Naturschutzgebiet mit kleinem See und vielen Wildvögeln liegt direkt hinter unserem (häufig) sonnigen Garten. Laurensberg-Vetschau erinnert an ein Dorf, und doch liegen die Stadt, der Uni-Campus, das Klinikum und der Sportpark Soers - um nur einige Beispiele zu nennen - sehr nahe und sind mit PKW, Bus oder Rad gut und schnell erreichbar. Bis zur nächsten Haltestelle des Linienbuses sind es nur wenige Meter. Man sagt, hier leben mehr Pferde als Menschen - was definitiv nicht stimmt ;-). Pferdefreunde kommen aber in einem der 3 Reiterhöfe zu Ihrem Hobby. Von hier ist es ca. 10 min Fahrzeit bis zur Soers, in der alljährlich das Weltfest des Pferdesports stattfindet - in 2015 zusätzlich die Europameisterschaft. Ein Volksfest mit Niveau und viel Programm - nicht nur für Pferdefreunde. Spaziergänger, Wanderfreunde, Radfahrer, Jogger etc. finde direkt vor der Haustür viele Wege mit Weitblicken über die Stadt, in die Niederlande und bis Belgien oder Eifel. Das grenzüberschreitende Vorzeige-Gewerbegebiet Avantis (Aachen-Heerlen) ist mit dem Fahrrad in ca. 10 min ebenerdig erreichbar. Ausflugtipps - sei es in die Aachener Innenstadt oder in die nahe limburgische Schweiz (Niederlande) per Fahrrad, Auto oder Bus bzw. historischer Eisenbahn (Haltestelle ca. 400 m, Fahrten in die "limburgsche Schweiz") - geben wir sehr gerne und stehen mit vielen weiteren Tipps zur Seite. Ein paar Vorschläge: - die Aachener Altstadt und das Studentenviertel, mit zahlreichen Straßencafes und Restaurants zwischen Ponttor und Dom, am Markt und Hof - Durch die Lage an der Grenze zu Belgien und den Niederlanden findet Ihr hier schnell ganz unterschiedliche Kulturkreise und auch Landschaften auf allen 3 Seiten des Dreiländerecks. - Kaiser Karl der Großen ist in Aachen überall präsent und das Centre Charlemagne ist einen Besuch wert. Weitere Highlights: - Das Weltfest des Reitsports C.H.I.O. (in 2015 zusätzlich: Europameisterschaft), - dem Dom, 1.   • Michael's place is clean, modern and comfortable. The neighbourhood is also very nice and quiet (with free parking!). It accessible too, with nearby groceries and restaurants. Michael is also helpful and communicative; he welcomed us during arrival, offered us beer, coffee and milk, which is very nice and kind. Definitely recommended!

    Our idylisches claytruss-house and the cozy trailer with alcove with double bed are embedded in the 4 Linden Hof, a gem á la Findus and Pettersson, rural, 6km to the city.
    The 4 Linden Hof is a small paradise of 1 ha of land with different traditional mud huts and circus wagons, stables for donkeys, sheep, goats and chickens. In addition to other animals are found here orchards and many secluded spots to relax and enjoy. In the main house, a converted barn guests have plenty of space for larger meetings. In all rooms there is the possibility to create more beds so that there alone up to 12 people can be accommodated. In fine weather you can sit outside in the garden or on the balcony and eat. We also provide grazing land for horses! In wet weather rubber boots can be very useful here! We also give some!
    Vetschau is rural, near the Dutch border, just 6 km from Aachen city center and offers a wide range of possibilities. Surrounded by horses meadows and fields and only a few houses, the holiday feeling is almost perfect. But the opportunity to shop at the nearby Lauren Berg or Richterich on foot, or by bike, as well as by bus or bike to downtown and old town with Cathedral and Town Hall, or to reach the nearby Chiogelände, or triangle, it can be nothing fail of.

  • With the stay at Andreas's place we've got an amazing time in the charming, stylish house – it's like you don't want to go outside, because your room is so cozy and enjoyable. It's also a pleasure to walk about the farm, everything is in an awesome order and made with true love. Our son spent a time walking, exploring, observing the animals. We had a chance and pleasure to talk to Andreas and it was great! He gave us few tips about Aachen and we did a drive there, which was awesome!     Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer ruhigen Umgebung in Stadtrandlage in der 2. Etage eines gepflegten Mehrfamilienhauses. Vor dem Haus ist eine Bushaltestelle. Es handelt sich um ein Zimmer in einer 3er-WG. Es hat 11 qm und ist ausgestattet mit Bett, Schrank und Schreibtisch. Die Aussicht ist im wesentlichen ins Grüne - auf den Parkplatz und zum Garten. Wohnzimmer, Balkon, Bad und Küche sind voll ausgestattet und können mitbenutzt werden.
    Im Zimmer findest Du ein zweites Kopfkissen, eine zweite Decke falls es kühl sein sollte, eine Tassimo-Maschine und einen Wasserkocher.
    Bis ins Zentrum von Laurensberg mit Supermarkt (geöffnet bis 22:00 Uhr), Bank, Cafe, Eisdiele, Pizzeria usw. sind es zu Fuß 10 Minuten. Bis zur Uni braucht man 25 Minuten mit dem Bus, mit dem Fahrrad 15 Minuten. Die Parkplatzsituation ist entspannt, da ein Bewohnerparkplatz zur Verfügung steht.

  • The yard on which this beautiful construction trailer stands is a life project and ecological dream with loving details and beauty wherever you look. It's all quite simple and natural (to the toilets short walk through the green courtyard idyll) which was perfect for me. In the morning I was neighing from horses and waking bees buzzing. The delicious breakfast can be booked and enjoyed on the sunny veranda overlooking the garden. Andreas created a paradise here.

  • As you can see from the description, this is the slightly different accommodation. In fact, you live in a "car". I thought that was very comfortable. For those who are worried about freezing: there is a gas heater, an electric heater and the coronation is a real open. The sanitary facilities are located in an outbuilding. What I personally thought was very nice, that you will be invited to breakfast with others. Otherwise: Crocs or rubber boots are definitely helpful in order not to get wet feet in bad weather. The car is in a meadow.

  • We were five adults in the yard 4Linden - two of us for the second time - and the two rooms used upstairs and the trailer. We were warmly welcomed and Andreas showed us on a tour with wonderful weather all. At breakfast he took the time to tell us about WWOOF, the farm and the donkeys. Speaking of breakfast - as a loving, generous, healthy and above all delicious breakfast you are allowed you not to be missed! All rooms were clean, tidy and equipped with fruit, drink and bedtime. Take the time and take a look at the facilities offered, the art, the images of "portrait gallery" and what else is there to discover - indoors and outdoors. A great courtyard with lots of nice people! Note the trailer: who is sensitive to heat should note that the trailer has no insulation like a massive house and it can be quite warm during the day in the summer.

  • The B&B at Monica is really recommended! In a quiet village / town you can enjoy nature and you are a stone's throw from all kinds of sights. We visited Aachen, the three-country point and returned home via the High Fens. We enjoyed the very cozy decor of the B&B that was very neat. The hospitality of Monica and her husband is also characteristic. We received many tips for visits in the area and were always helped where necessary.   • This is a beautiful new B&B! Everything is neat and the apartment is very stylishly furnished. We have been on vacation for a short week and we had a wonderful time. The location is great, close to great cities such as Maastricht and Aachen, you can make beautiful walks in nature or get on a bike! We were there with our 3-month-old daughter so we couldn't leave much, but the apartment is also a great place to be! Monica is a real hostess, she responds quickly and is very pleasant in contact. Highly recommended!

    Vanuit dit stijlvol, luxe en compleet ingericht vakantie appartement is de streek prima te verkennen. Van Aken of Vaals tot Maastricht ligt Zuid Limburg aan uw voeten. 's Ochtend de ezels in het weiland begroeten en 's avonds slapen in de bedstee.
    In de stallen en de schuur van deze eeuwen oude boerderij zijn 2 vakantiewoningen gerealiseerd. "D'r kowshjtal" is geheel in stijl van het oude woonhuis opgebouwd. De living in "de sjuur" is ruim 4 meter hoog. Er komt veel licht door de hoog gelegen ramen. Beide appartementen hebben een royale bedstee en een luxe slaapbank, voor gegarandeerd comfortabel slapen. Wij bieden hier "de sjuur" aan.

  • Beautiful house, spotless with all the trimmings. All sorts of things are already present in the kitchen, such as coffee, tea, salt and pepper. Large TV, so that you can also hang in front of the tube before you get in your box bed, which by the way sleeps wonderfully with a good and spacious mattress. Communication with Mariëlle was quick and spontaneous, what a nice woman. Beautiful area and lots to do and see. The donkeys are really a super nice accessory. Unfortunately I was not allowed to take it home. Nice and nice spacious bathroom with hairdryer! I think that is a nice addition! In short, we will definitely be back. We really enjoyed everything!

  • We arrived a bit late, But Andreas came out of his bed for us, showed us our room and even cooked a small meal for us. We felt very welcome from the start. This is one of those hidden gems. A little agricultural secret. The location is actually an organic farm, with some guestworkers, who provide food, build homes or work with the animals. We were very impressed with the breakfast. It was a feast and i have never such a magnificent breakfast, even fancy hotels to not offer such a breakfast made with care and dedication. Also, we had a lot of fun looking at all the different animals. Especially the two doggies were a lot of entertainment to us. (And the chickens add a bit of comedy when they try to enter the kitchen) Would absolutely recommend this quite little paradise, close to Aachen.

Badezimmer mit Badewanne/Dusche. Die Wohnung liegt Campus-, Uniklinik-, Alstadt-und Chionah. Alles ist in max. zehn Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Ein Auto ist nicht unbedingt notwendig. Bushaltestelle, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar.
    Wir bieten eine kleine Wohnung an, in der man sich nicht wie in einem nüchternen Ferienappartement fühlt. Sie liegt in einer ruhiger Seitenstraße und lässt einen entspannen. In der Küche kann man sich auf den Induktionsplatten oder der Mikrowelle eine Kleinigkeit zum Essen zubereiten und im Esszimmer genießen. Auf dem Sofa kann man es sich mit einem schönen Buch gemütlich machen.
    Von unserem Haus ist man schnell in der Stadt aber auch in den Feldern. Man kann schöne Ausflüge machen.Sei es Wandern in der Eifel, Epen, Brunssumer Heide, Aachener Wald, Dreiländereck oder Sightseeing in Aachen, Maastricht, Lüttich. Man lebt in der Stadt und kann trotzdem die Ruhe genießen.

  • Stay at Britta's place for myself and my wife was homely and excellent. The apartment was neat and clean and had separate kitchen and bathroom. As for the location it is really nice and peaceful. It is well connected to Aachen city centre on weekdays. However on sundays and holidays, buses are less frequent. Britta and her husband Mr Jacques were very friendly and cooperative. Ours was a long stay of nearly a month and the Airbnb cancellation policy of deducting 30days charges in case of cancellation made it difficult to finalise our booking as our visa was getting delayed. Britta came to our rescue and blocked the dates and we could finalise our booking as soon as we got our visas without fear of losing money. Her help of also accomodating my son and his luggage in the apartment and guiding us with our travel plans was really wonderful. We also got to enjoy Britta's homemade delicious Cheesecake and chocolate cakes. She is really a super host.

  • Nice apartment outside the center of Aachen (about 8 minutes by car) - we were very warmly welcomed by Britta and were allowed to spend a few days in the spacious apartment. There was nothing missing, it was clean and tidy - even on clean kitchenware (which is not always the case) was respected. Britta and her husband would always be available in case of need. Maybe you should mention that on a slightly closer aqueduct the train, on the otherwise very quiet, and in our opinion beautifully located apartment, passes. All in all a very recommendable accommodation! Gladly again.

  • A few days before our arrival we received a very nice message from Renate to arrange for the introduction of the flat. She was waiting for us by the time we arrived. The studio is situated on the ground floor of a quiet building and is arranged in such a way that two people can stay there comfortably. It was recently refurbished and in impeccable condition. We were also delighted by the little touches the hosts added for the holidays. We even had a christmas tree on the balcony. We had a lovely chat with Renate on our arrival and she is fluent in French, German and English (and perhaps other languages we didn't speak ourselves). We felt at home right away and she also offered us good advice on where to park and how to get to Aachen. The flat is situated north from Aachen and although it might be a bit further from the city centre on foot or by public transport, it hardly took us 5 minutes by car which was very convenient for us. A great asset, especially in winter is the building's indoor pool and sauna, which are very quiet (we didn't see anyone else). The sauna was very relaxing after the very cold days in this beautiful city. We would definitely recommend Renate as host and we wish her and her son all the best with Carpe Diem.

    Der 4 Linden Hof ist ein kleines Paradies von 1 ha Land mit unterschiedlichen urigen Lehmbauten und Zirkuswägen, Ställen für Esel, Schafe, Ziegen und Hühner. Neben weiteren Tieren findet man hier Streuobstwiesen und viele lauschige Fleckchen zum verweilen und genießen. Im Haupthaus, einer umgebauten Scheune haben Gäste viel Platz auch für größere Treffen. In allen Zimmern besteht die Möglichkeit, weitere Schlafplätze zu schaffen, so daß allein dort bis zu 12 Personen beherbergt werden können. Bei schönem Wetter kann man draußen im Garten oder auf dem Balkon sitzen und essen. Wir bieten auch Weidemöglichkeiten für Pferde!. Bei nassem Wetter können hier Gummistiefel sehr nützlich sein!
    Vetschau liegt sehr ländlich nahe der niederländischen Grenze, nur 6 km von der Aachener Innenstadt entfernt und bietet so ein breites Spektrum an Möglichkeiten. Umgeben von Pferdewiesen und Feldern und nur wenigen Häusern ist das Urlaubsgefühl schon fast perfekt. Aber auch die Möglichkeit, im nahe gelegenen Laurensberg oder Richterich zu Fuß, oder per bike einzukaufen, sowie mit Bus oder bike die City und Altstadt mit Domschatz und Rathaus, oder das nahegelegene Chiogelände, oder Dreiländereck zu erreichen, lassen es an nichts fehlen.

  • We were five adults in the yard 4Linden - two of us for the second time - and the two rooms have used the upper floor and the trailer. We were warmly welcomed and Andreas showed us on a tour with wonderful weather all. At breakfast he took the time to tell us about WWOOF, by the Court and of the donkeys. Speaking of breakfast - so a loving, generous, healthy and above all tasty breakfast you must not miss you! All rooms were clean, tidy and equipped with fruit, drink and bedtime. Take the time and look at the facilities offered, the art, the images of the "portrait gallery" and what else is there to discover - both indoors and outdoors. A great courtyard with nice people!

  • We were greeted very friendly and have 2 super quiet nights in a cottage room surrounded by Andreas' metal art works, old books, sculptures, paintings, found objects, piano, ... and everything in a lovingly renovated and decorated house. The 4Linden is an authentic and unique part of the world and its inhabitants, we have consistently experienced as helpful, love and open-minded people (and even the animals were always fond of).   • Doris was the best hostess we have had on all Airbnb trips. Super nice, totally helpful, very fast in the communication, all special requests were fulfilled immediately, we were later able to check out and send a package in advance to you. The kitchen has a perfect equipment and also in the bathroom are in a small basket all toiletries ready, if something were forgotten. In the fridge drinks were cold, coffee pods we were allowed to use and there was even a welcome chocolate. It could not be better !! Thanks a lot for this!

Ein Schlafzimmer (25qm) mit 2 Einzelbetten 0,90 x 2,00m, die können aber auch zusammengestellt werden. Zwei Babybetten stehen bei Bedarf zusätzlich zur Verfügung. Vor dem Haus besteht Parkmöglichkeit für dein Fahrzeug. Das Haus liegt in einem Wohngebiet und ist ruhig gelegen. Zur nächsten Haltestelle ist es ca. 200 m. von dort gelangen sie mit einem Schnellbus in die Stadtmitte oder nach Kerkrade/Heerlen. Die niederländische Grenze ist ca. 6 km entfernt. Der nächste Bäcker ist ca. 200 m entfernt, ebenso die nächste Gaststätte/Restaurant. Von der Wohnung ist ca. 2 km Herzogenrath/Kohlscheid entfernt, ca. 2 km von Richterich, 6 km von der Grenze Kerkrade/NL, 15 min. zur Stadtmitte, Campus oder Klinikum . Hunde / Tiere sind nach Absprache erlaubt.
    Horbach ist ein kleiner Wohnort kurz vor der Grenze zu den Niederlanden. Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen, aber nah an der Stadt und man ist schnell im Zentrum.

  • Very adequate description. They picked me up at the train station, which was very helpful since I had several luggage. The neighbourhood is very nice, full of family-houses and good for jogging. The bus to the center is just at 200 m and takes 25 min to Hauptbanhof.

  • We booked the accommodation because we were invited to a wedding nearby. Unfortunately we could not arrive ourselves. I then asked Annette if it was also possible for friends of ours to use the apartment for the same purpose. The criticism that I had not spoken explicitly about the children, I suppose and also accept that I should have mentioned that. Nevertheless, Annette made everything possible without any problems. Many Thanks! Our friends loved the hospitality. The apartment itself was exactly as described. I can only say that the communication was really smooth and uncomplicated.   • We felt very comfortable with Annette. The apartment is exactly as described, modern, comfortable, super clean and even has a small terrace on which we have breakfasted. The beautiful house is located in a residential area and the cross country area of the CHIO can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. Unfortunately we did not meet Annette personally, because she was on vacation during our stay, but the communication in advance was really nice and uncomplicated. Her son, who has received us as a substitute, was very helpful and there were not only drinks but also original Aachen Printen ready for welcome. We'll be back!

    Well equipped apartment in a quiet location in a residential area. The center, the RWTH, the campus, the University Hospital and the CHIO riding area are not far away and can be reached by bus. Parking available, Wi-Fi, LED TV, etc. Here you have the space and tranquility that offers not a hotel room. In the kitchen are many kitchen appliances, microwave, Senseo coffee machine, coffee maker, stove, oven, etc. Make yourself comfortable on our recliner for the city tour. The furniture is new and modern. A separate entrance leads them into the hall from the bedroom with a double bed going, a bathroom with shower and a living room with sofa bed and kitchenette. Towels and sheets are included. Public transport is nearby. The car can be parked for free on the street, there are plenty of parking spaces available. Bakers, supermarkets, Aldi Market, Penny Markt everything is available nearby.

  • We stayed for 6 months in this apartment and it has become a real home in that time! The decor is modern and tasteful with the hotel providing everything you need in everyday life that way. The hosts have taken us very friendly and even with a small welcome in reception and were over the following months always reachable. The environment is very family friendly, quiet and with good access to public transport. We felt very comfortable and can this property wholeheartedly!

  • We had a nice short break in the beautiful apartment of the family Hüllenkremer. The situation is quiet, yet a short distance from Aachen. The decor is beautiful, durable and order corpse. All instructions in a binder and even more beautiful enough information about the environment. The beds slept wonderfully. Aachen is very rewarding, especially the cathedral and surrounding area.
