Great little place. Paulin and Henrik were so friendly and helpful. Great views of the fjord and Drøbak is a great town with a lot to offer. I’ll be returning one day!

Amazing location. The tiny home sits at the foot of Paulin's home and has a stunning view of the fjord. Outdoor hot bath is soothing and restorative. Short and scenic walk to the small town of Drøbak. Peaceful winter getaway from noisy city life. We would love to come back!!!

Idyllic mini house in beautiful Drøbak. Paulina was very helpful with arrangements when we arrived late for check in and with tips on where to go. Remember that there is no possibility to have a shower during the winter months. However, Paulina suggested we could go to the new inside swimming facilities in Drøbak which were very nice!

The house is bright, cosy and relaxing. I found the peace here in the quiet neighbourhood. Very close to the fjord and with a nice view from the windows. Paulin was helpful and nice to communicate with, and was helpful at arrival. I tried the bath tub, and it was a really nice experience laying there in the warm water under them stars. Drøbak is a really nice place with a lot of different restaurants and cafes. Best from Remi

We loved our stay at Paulin's tiny house. It was very clean and comfortable and Paulin was very welcoming. We enjoyed having an outside bath and a fire in the evenings and the views of the fjord are stunning.

What a fantastic stay in a lovely place, this is far above the usual. I loved walking and to the fjord and even to town several times. The place was so nice, I felt very sad to leave. I want my family to stay here as well.

If I could, I would have put more than 5 stars. My boyfriend and I didn't want to leave. Everything was perfect. Karl is a man with a great sense of creativity, beauty, hospitality and kindness and it feels in his place. The cabin was comfy, well decorated and well equipped. The location was awesome, between the fjords and the forest, and we were pleased to wake up sometimes and see some deers in the garden. Very calming and ressourcing. Karl make us feel at home and he, his brother and his friend was full of tips for our stay. A great man who deserves to be a super host. Thank you very much!

Karl-Rune is such an incredible host ! We shared dinner at his place the night we arrived and had a fantastic time together. We couldn't have a better first impression of Norway. Thank you again !

Staying at Karl’s cabin is like being home with family. He welcomed us like we were part of his family and he was always available on giving us rides and suggesting places to visit. We miss him already. Surely will plan to stay with him again.

Great quiet stylish stay, very nice host.

If you don't mind to walk to the bus and train statition of Vestby is only max. 1 hour away. But Karl is really helpful if you need it. The guest house is super cute, great and clean.

We had a great stay, the cabin is small but very cosy. The host was so nice, he had very good recommendations for us. He also offered to take us with him to Fredrikstad and picked us up at the train station.

It was very beautiful, incredible scenery.

Super cozy cottage a short drive from Oslo

If you like to stay at the cabin in the woods, feeling cozy and warm, this is the place. We really enjoyd the atmosphere.

Our rescue in the storm! One hour in advance and yet we were able to check in on time. The cottage is so lovingly decorated with great attention to detail. Gladly again!

Very short notice and very fast response received. Super idyllic cabin in a great location. Gigantic garden that all children will love. Sea-view. Directions over steep unpaved road, certainly not with any car unproblematic. Unfortunately, Plumsklo smells strong, but probably unavoidable. Anyway, everything is very clean and the stay very relaxing, would have liked to stay longer.

This place is so incredibly lovely :) if you like simple cottages, this is your place to stay. If you have the time, you should stay for a few days to detect all the lovely details.

The house is small but perfectly used and very cute. The garden is beautiful and the chicken are fun. The beds are also comfortable, we were completely happy!

We had a very good stay in Eva's cabin. She offered us fresh eggs from hens, plums and mint from her garden. She and her husband picked us up and drove us back to the train station (which saved us from a bus trip). The small house is very pleasant to live, windows everywhere, cleanliness irreproachable, views of the greenery. It was a stay in a haven of peace with a warm and attentive welcome. Many thanks to Eva and Hans for their welcome.

We had an amazing stay at Therese house. The house is perfect for a two-three days stay after visiting Oslo. It is really easy to get to it even though you don't have a car (30min by bus from Oslo central Station). The view on Oslo's Fjord is beautiful and the house is really cosy. Therese was extremely kind and thoughtful with us. In a word : a little place of calm and beauty :)

Beautiful, roomie and authentic Norwegian cabin with stunning view of the Oslo lake. Hosts were lovely and local. Around half an hours drive to Oslo city. Fullest recommendations if you are visiting Oslo and want a hideout nearby.

Beate was friendly and forthcoming and had many helpful tips. The Wifi is good. The location is close to the train station. Everything that I needed for my stay was there, in the room, the bathroom and the common area.

We stayed at Anette´s place for a couple of days after our wedding. It was the most magical and special place for us and I would recommend it to anyone who needs quality time to think or to spend together with a partner or friend! Truly stunning and amazing!

I had wonderful days at Annette’s place, I feel so refreshed and inspired! The house and garden is beautifully decorated and located in a lovely and quiet area. It’s also very close to the lovely little village Son by the Oslo Fjord, a great place to spend an afternoon. Annette is a lovely and warm person, very helpful and welcoming - she made me feel at home as soon as I got there! I can really recommend staying here and I can’t wait to go back soon!

Incredibly nice place and very hospitable host. We did not participate in yoga or other activities, but used the place for accommodation only. Got to check in early and we got to sleep an extra hour the day after. Very central location.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts are very nice and the annex has everything you need. It is furnished thoughtfully and very well designed. Also, there is a small terrace behind the annex that has afternoon sun and is the ideal place to have a coffee.

The small, but just right big annex for two girlfriends, is perfectly located in quiet residential areas just a few minutes walk from the pier and "downtown". The annex has a good standard and is nice and clean. Very nice and helpful host, who is quick to answer any questions you may have. Great place to recharge your batteries.

We had a wonderful stay in Hilde’s cabin. The setting is beautiful and very peaceful, with some lovely swimming spots very close by. I visited with my parents, husband and sister and there was plenty of space for us all, and the cabin has everything you could need. Hilde was also extremely helpful and very responsive. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Fantastic peaceful place

We had a brilliant weekend at Hildes cabin. The location is very good and it was nice and clean. The information both before and during the stay was entirely exemplary. The outside shower worked surprisingly well. The residence is highly recommended.

There's only one problem with this house: you have to leave it sooner or later! Wonderfully quiet, great outdoor space (including the shower - amazing) but also cosy in front of the fire in the evening if it gets cool. Simple kitchen but everything you need is there. Hilde and Svend-Inge couldn't have been nicer, despite having to put up with me failing to find the place and arriving late (entirely my fault). There were even some groceries and welcome balloons for us. The location is fantastic, Drobak is a beautiful little town a five minute drive away, with great swimming (and diving boards). There are also loads of walks in the forest and a short walk down to a beach with a pontoon in the water for more diving. Loved everything about this place.

What should I say...our stay at Hilde's cabin was really great from the very beginning til the end. We enjoyed our three days very much. And even when it started to rain we didn't care because it was so cozy and relaxing inside the cabin. We fell in love with this beautiful and idyllic place and would love to come back as soon as possible. Many thanks to Hilde and her family!

We loved our short stay at Havblick Cottage, as a Brit the outdoor WC and shower were a surprise but only added to a magical experience. Norway must be the most beautiful, cleanest and friendliest place we have ever visited.... why the would and the UK in general cant follow their lead is a mystery!! Thanks again for the use of the cottage.

It is a lovely cabin that certainly lived up to expectations. There were clean, good beds, a nice hot shower and all you need for a stay. My family and I booked the cab last minute, but that was no problem as Alexander is quick to answer and help. We will definitely consider staying here when we come back to Norway once again.

The cabin is well located and was easy to find. It had all the equipment; even iron and ironing board. Very good value for money.

A great little 2 bedroom cabin about 1 hrs drive from Oslo. Close to several lovely coastal towns including Son and Drøbak. It's easy to to find and neighbours some woodlands with good walking opportunities. The cabin was clean and well equipped, and Aleksander was an excellent host. An ideal place to explore the south-east of Norway.

Aleksanders cottage was really cozy and we totally enjoyed our stay!! It is perfect of a group of 5 people and you have loads of space. We enjoyed the hot shower after these winter days in Norway. Even if you have no car, it is easy to reach the house by a 30 mins walk from the Sonsveien train station. But better with a car. This cozy cottage surounded by a nice neighborhood and woods is definitely recommendable :) Thanks Aleksander!!

Welcome to a cozy cottage / cabin with a magnificent view of the Oslo fjord. Good kitchen and equipment with large nice sitting area for cozy evenings with fireplace. Comfortable beds and cozy bedrooms. Nice area to walk in and happy to go down to the beach. Very relaxing which was what we wanted. You can easily get to both Oslo and Drammen on day trips.

We spent a great week in Hanne's house with a great view of the Oslofjord - either from the large terrace or from the window front directly from the living room. The house is very clean and equipped with everything you need. On foot you are in a few minutes in a large forest area. To Oslo you need about three quarters of an hour by car. And it's not far to the Swedish border.

Hanne's house is on a perfect spot. From the terrace you have a wonderful view over the Oslofjord. The house has everything you need. There is a lot to see en do in the surroundings. Oslo is just 30 minutes by car.

10 minutes from Moss lies this beautiful house just above the shore. We had a tremendous stay. The accomodities where perfect for our needs.

This cosy old house and beautiful location made a vacation of three generations perfect. It had everything we needed indoors and out.

Lovely place, sea on three sides. :) Fully possible to find areas without access. Quiet cottage barn. The house is a stone's throw away from two small bathing areas (bathing shoes are recommended on one, unless you want to jump off the dock). Bring your own seat cushions to the outdoor furniture.

Very idyllic house conveniently located in the center of Son. Nice host and spotless facilities!

We were going to sail the NM regatta in Son and all hotel rooms and Airbnb was full. Thomas then made a fantastic effort for us to access a bed with him. Two of the sailing team had the pleasure of living with Thomas, and they were very impressed with the layout. Everything is well organized and you are extremely well looked after.

The accommodation is awesome, centrally located in Son. Peaceful and good beds. We are very satisfied

had a very late check-in (22:00) , but Girish had the patience and kindness to wait for me. the house is new and it's surrounded by nature . free parking place is right next to the house. private bathroom is close to the room. I could use the common spaces such as kitchen and living room. Girish is a wonderful host. he helped me with tips and information about different places in Norway, helping me plan the rest of the trip . highly recommend this place.

Finally, a really beautiful place. The view from the cabin is wonderful and although a bit steep down to the sea, the plot is large and has areas where children and adults can play and have fun. Quiet and peaceful. The host is very nice and communicates quickly and flawlessly. The place is recommended!

Lovely house with fantastic location right by the water. Large and beautiful panoramic windows, and great views. Large and nice garden, with several seating areas and zones. We were somewhat unlucky with the weather when we were there, but still cost ourselves in one of the seating areas under the roof, and with heat in the outdoor fireplace. A very charming and nice house. Kjersti was very friendly and respond promptly to messages. Will stay there again, highly recommended!

We had a amazing getaway on this cabin dream in the Oslofjord. Beautiful vintage and design details and a amazing view over the fjord. A perfect place to breathe or be sosial with friends and family. We will be back!

Oivind is such a wonderful and hospitable guest. His place is awesome- with a fabulous view, supermarket right outside, lots of parking, etc. Apartment is lovely & very clean. Also, Oivind was flexible and very helpful for my check in/ check out. I was very grateful for staying there!

We had a wonderful long weekend in this cozy cottage in beautiful Hvitsten. Plenty of space for 9 people with children from 8 to 15 years old. Central location in Hvitsten. The kids could walk freely between the cottage, the beach and the parks. Well-equipped kitchen and good beds.

Trude's cabin is a gem and we greatly enjoyed ourselves. Nice beach location, great views and very cozy cottage. Trude was easily accessible and easy to enjoy. We will gladly come here again.

We loved our stay at Mari's place! Great hospitality, she always gave us space but was around to answer questions about the area and help us out. Love being in the forest just outside of town.

Mari's place is a lovely house in the woods, with several animals living on the property. This is more like a farm stay, so some noise from the animals can be expected, but this did not bother me - on the contrary. Mari was very thoughtful and made sure I was not bothered by any of her animals or activities. She served fresh eggs from her own chicken yard, the peacock was nice to look at, and I was warmly welcomed by her cats every day. Their dog will guard the house while away. There are also bees and rabbits on the property. Great hospitality and service minded attitude. Although the place was not super clean, I highly recommend a stay at Mari's place.
