Ryokan-style Showa Inn, maximum 10 people, parking for 3 cars, convenient for training camps, sauna tours, Sumakago, Inuyama, and Ghibli Park. Available for private rental.

Tajimi Shukukitaya is a retro-style, private inn perfect for those who want to enjoy both Higashinoseki sightseeing and a sauna tour. It is a convenient base for sightseeing to Tsumakago, Inuyama, Ghibli Park, the monastery, Torakei-san Eibo-ji, Toki Outlet, and more. It is also in a location that makes it easy to visit popular hot spring facilities such as Amamitsu-no-Yu, Ryusenji, Yorimichi Onsen, and Yunohana Island. In an old-fashioned house with tatami mats, you can enjoy a relaxing stay with family or friends, or even with a large group, such as three generations on a trip. The surroundings are very quiet, and after enjoying the sauna and sightseeing, you can spend some time relaxing in a space that feels nostalgic. Whether it's a sauna trip with multiple people or a group trip, the appeal lies in gathering together in the same space, enjoying meals and conversation, and creating memories. You can also experience a different kind of stay from a hotel, where you feel like you are living there. Please note that due to the natural environment, there may be cold spells and snow accumulation in winter, requiring studless tires.Insects may appear in the summer. Also, the last 200 meters or so to the inn are on a narrow road, and cars cannot pass each other. There are some inconveniences, but this is an inn where you can enjoy the tranquility and a traditional stay, including those inconveniences.

15 min Ghibli, Family Stay, Japanese Home, Free P

Ghibli Park is about a 15-minute drive away. "Stay like you live" with your loved ones in a townhouse that has woven 100 years of time. Pleasant Stay Seto ~ Tokitsumugi ~ is an inn where you can feel history and warmth in the harmony of a townhouse from about 100 years ago and the home that has been passed down since then. The name of the inn, "Tokitsumugi," embodies the desire to connect the time and thoughts woven in this house to the future. The building features the work of my grandfather, who was the prototype designer of Seto Novelty, and my grandmother's sewing machine that supported it. We hope you can feel the unique culture of Seto along with the history of the lifestyle and craftsmanship that has been passed down. While preserving the Japanese atmosphere, it also offers the convenience of modern living, such as sleeping in a bed and enjoying meals in the dining room. In addition, the three bedrooms are each separate, so three generations of family, relatives, or friends can enjoy a comfortable stay while respecting each other's private time. It is also about 40 minutes by train from the nearest station to central Nagoya. As a base for sightseeing in Seto and Nagoya, including Ghibli Park, we hope that the time you spend at this accommodation will be a time to create new stories with your family and loved ones.

Traditional Townhouse & Garden in Quiet Castletown

Experience the charm of traditional Japan with all the senses in this finely crafted townhouse & surrounding garden. Gujo Hachiman is known as the “City of Water”, and owner & architect Yuri Fujisawa has lovingly restored this charming residence to embody the spirit of water. Located below the town’s medieval castle, this neighborhood was reserved for high-ranking samurai. While the historical streetscape is well-preserved, it remains an authentic neighborhood inhabited by friendly locals.
