Cozy one bedroom cabin on Burns Cove. Enjoy beautiful views of water and wildlife from the surrounding deck. In cold weather, snuggle up by the woodstove and savor the solitude. Guests appreciate the quiet solitude of the surrounding forests and Puget Sound. We have a two night minimum to provide a relaxing stay. Longer stays lead to significant discounts. Because of four years of great guests we DO NOT add cleaning fees to booking charges!! We ask that only non smokers book. Thanks
The cabin is set up for an adult single or adult couple. Great views from both the inside and outside. Large picture windows so you can enjoy the waterfront. During spring to fall the north facing views give you ever changing sunrises and sunsets. Great photo opportunities. Cabin is 360 sq ft. Comfy double bed ( not a queen size but then we expect you're here with someone you enjoy being close to!), closet, dresser, equipped kitchen area, electric heat plus woodstove, bathroom with shower and toilet (double sink in kitchen area), outdoor barbeque, deck furniture... . Wish we could accommodate kids but because of the bank and waterfront we have to limit occupancy to adults.
This is a quiet rural neighborhood with plenty of places to walk. Our four acre site is open to you and is completely surrounded by forests (with walking paths) and water. Many will never want to leave the property. However, within 25 minutes we have salmon viewing (November), a tribal museum, parks along Puget Sound, waterfront boardwalks, performing arts center, numerous golf courses, live theater, bookstores, farmers' markets, brewpubs, wine bars, restaurants for every taste, kayaking and more. Just seven minutes away is a small market that carries anything needed for your stay plus a neighborhood pub (Character's Corner) that is well worth a meal stop.
  • This little cabin is the perfect place to unplug and take in the beautiful scenery. Stet was quick to respond to any inquiries that we made prior to our trip. He was detailed and thoughtful when it came to directions, greeting us at the driveway and making local recommendations. When you pull in there is a long gravel driveway, then the horse stalls, the main house, and your parking spot. You walk down a gravel path behind the main house, through the backyard about 100 feet to the cabin. The cabin was clean and warm upon arrival. The woodstove was set up and ready for us to light whenever we wanted to. There were spices, cooking oils, condiments, granola, fresh eggs, coffee, creamer and all of the kitchen things you would need to be able to make a nice meal. The bed was comfortable and so were the sheets/duvet. We both liked the shorter rocking chair lol, it was comfy. The bathroom is extra small but, it has the necessities. Stet & Lynn have a great guide that they leave for you. It outlines the property, nearby stores and favorite places, hospitals and safety information. The wifi was great, we streamed a movie on Netflix through our laptop and were able to watch a movie without any buffering. We stopped by and fed the horses each day that we were there. They were happy to see us when we walked up and we're friendly. We walked down a little trail to the water and saw oysters at low tide. There were different birds in the area and we liked the binoculars and bird book they set up at the window for us to use. Such a nice getaway, affordable and much more beautiful than the photos. You should definitely go if you're thinking about it!

  • This was an amazing getaway trip. With homey vibes yet, completely different than any hotel experience. Would recommend to anyone wanting a change in scenery. The views and simplicity of the cabin truly are worth seeing.

  • Amazing hosts! Beautiful retreat away from the busy stresses of life and the city! Perfect for what I was needing! Stet and Lynne were soooo kind and welcoming! Beautiful people!

    Lynsie2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely amazing stay, it was so homey and the perfect location! Stet and Lynne were fantastic hosts, very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. Every little touch in the cabin was great. The bed was comfortable, the rocking chairs were a great touch. Stet is very responsive to any questions you text him, and he’ll remind you often that he’s always willing to help with anything during your stay - such a friendly guy! Be sure to spend some time with the horses, they’re adorable and both Lynne and Stet can tell you some interesting facts and stories about caring for horses. The cabin has all of life’s basic needs - a shower, a toilet, running water, hot water, stovetop, toaster oven, and pans and dishes. The view from the cabin is amazing, especially during sunrise. It’s the perfect couple’s weekend getaway! I definitely want to come back soon!

    Jason2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Views on the water are amazing, cabin is so comfortable, and Stet & Lynne are such great hosts! Made us feel so welcome. Pictures online are great but in-person it is far better. Close to Olympic National Park, and Olympia of course. 5 stars+ in our book. One of best places we have stayed on Air BnB.

    Alex2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Stet and Lynne's cabin is truly what you go to Air Bnb for -- a one-of-a-kind experience! We loved the coziness of a fire in the woodstove while we watched ducks feeding on the water. This is a cabin, not a hotel suite, so you have to be a little flexible with regard to the bathroom accommodations, but it's part of the charm. Their kind and thoughtful hospitality was very much appreciated.

    Katherine2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Stet and Lynne were such amazing hosts. Check in to the cabin went smoothly- they taught us how to use the fire stove and even prepared breakfast for us the next morning! The cabin is truly a gem. Peaceful and quiet, which is exactly what we needed.

    Khristine2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, and wonderful hosts. We loved this cabin and it’s location. Has everything we needed and more. Also, close to many beautiful parks, restaurants and stores. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Looking for some seclusion? Awake to nature in this cozy treehouse for two! Enjoy verdant views from the loft in the double-sized bed. Newly constructed private half bath below the treehouse & shower house near the parking area. Private fire pit with propane grill, access to grocery stores & take out restaurants within 3 miles. Located centrally between Mt Rainier & the Olympic Mountains. (There is a 220 lb weight restriction on the ladder and ceiling height approx 5’9” upstairs in loft.)
This unique treehouse is a great getaway for nature lovers or those looking to do social distancing in style. There are many walkways through Douglas firs, cedars, hemlocks and rhododendrons as well as back wood paths that meander though grand firs and old growth of a few hundred years. In the spring, a ceremony of frogs lull you to sleep, summer months bring cool nights out on the wrap around deck. Autumn leaves from maples measure as wide as 18" and winter brings sometimes a rare snowfall that is magical. This is an experience, not a hotel. On windy nights, you will feel the treehouse sway. Everyday amenities are a little different--even the walk to the treehouse itself is a little journey. The treehouse half bathroom was built around the base of a large cedar and is just at the foot of the treehouse with a composting toilet and sink with hot water. Our new beautiful outdoor cedar shower house has skylights to showcase the trees above it and is available when temperatures are above freezing. Your stay includes a private fire pit with pre-cut wood, tv with assorted DVD movies, and an electric fireplace to keep you toasty warm. Near the private fire pit is a propane grill with an additional private seating area. On the deck is a large cooler to keep your food and beverages fresh. There is no microwave or stove. Plates, wine glasses with bottle opener, silver ware, coffee mugs with coffee and condiments, instant oatmeal as well as tea and hot chocolate are provided. Other things to note: The treehouse is approximately 190 sq ft. This treehouse is NOT suitable for large or tall persons, or persons with mobility challenges. The bed is a full size, and the ladder leading to the bedroom loft has a max weight limit of 220 lbs. The loft height is approx 5’9” at its highest. We are a strict non-smoking site, that includes the outdoors and woods. If the treehouse smells of smoke —even by association of smoking in your vehicle, it will still permeate in the fibers of the treehouse. There is an extra $400 cleaning fee for smoke scent removal of the treehouse. (Very difficult when dealing with natural fibers and tree bark.) Composting toilet: ALL MUST SIT! Sit until you feel the seat compress. You will hear/feel a little click. This is the back sliding door of the bowl opening to allow solid waste and paper to enter. If you do not follow these instructions and cause liquid to enter the back compost compartment, or damage the blue sliding door by not allowing it to be open during use, which then damages the door by having waste collect on it, you may be charged the following: $75 extra cleaning fee, $200 for sliding door bowl replacement and labor. Lastly, bed linen staining. If the sheets are stained, you may be charged any or all of the following: $100 for sheet replacement, $100 for pad replacement, and $200 for comforter replacement. We do host small weddings on occasion, so please inquire for details to set up a preview appt.
A mixed area of tribal-owned land, and private home/land owners. Close access to I-5, Hawks Prairie shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants are three miles away, one exit south off exit 111.
  • Beautiful trees and cozy inside. Everything was very comfortable and cute! I loved the fire pit was set up for us already and the grill worked great.

  • Brittany's tiny house was a pleasure to stay at. The communication was super easy and quick and the place was equipped with everything you'd need. The kayaks that were provided were also another source of fun.

    Brendan2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the little sitting nook with the window and the ability to cook all of our meals while staying at Brittany's place. There were easy to follow instructions for the composting toilet, hot water heater, and different heating options. My husband is 6'4'' and was able to navigate the place pretty easily but definitely was too long for the bed. It was a nice walk to the beach and Tolmie State Park with some lovely trails through the woods there. We saw plenty of people out clamming during the weekend and wished we'd had the right gear to join them!

    Alissa2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing tiny house experience that was amazing for two people. The house is cozy and intimate. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

  • This airbnb was perfect for a winter getaway! My partner and I had a wonderful time with our little Pomeranian. Every detail in the decor was well thought out and very unique. Thank you, Brittany, for an amazing stay!

  • True tiny experience in a beautiful location!

    Luke2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • Small but welcoming with everything you could need. Couldn't be easier.

    Leslie2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to get away from the city. Amazing views and a unique overnight experience.

    Josh2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • My stay in the Tiny House was great! Although I was gone the majority of my there, I did enjoy coming “home” to such a cozy space. The bed was comfortable, and offers a great look at the stars. There were lots of things the host incorporated to make it feel like home. Most mornings I saw a deer or bunny! I did not have an opportunity it to use the fire pit, but it did offer a spectacular view! Brittany ensures that you stay there is a great, and her communications is excellent! Although the space it tight, and offers a lot more than meets the eye!

The setting sun splashes across the dining table flooding the home with sunshine. Newly remodeled with gorgeous bamboo floors and modern lighting brighten up this old country mobile home. Covered porch is nice for sitting and watching the wildlife coming to eat the apples. Comfortable stylish furniture throughout. Each bedroom has a comfy bed soft, but firm. The larger room has a queen bed and built in desk. The smaller room has a full size bed (6 inches less than a queen).
IN AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION, WE ARE TAKING NECESSARY ADDITIONAL MEASURES TO BLEACH CLEAN NOBS, HANDLES, AND COMMONLY TOUCHED AREAS. We have several homes available on Airbnb. They are several hundred feet apart with plenty of space all the way around. Yet you can rent more than one house if they are available and you need more space. The home is surrounded by apple trees and the deer are quite at home here. It's very likely to encounter at least one deer here every day. The apples are free for picking, they are wild organic, and they aren't pretty but they bake delicious. Help yourself. A simple easy is to chop some up in a bowl with raisins or nuts, some spices like cinnamon, syrup or honey to sweeten or not and bake till soft. Yum. Serve steaming with ice cream!! YumYum!!
You are right across the street from McIntosh Lake and the Western Chehalis Bike Trail. Swimming, fishing, biking are all right there. Your neighbors are us and our permanent tenants who are all friendly and helpful.

Whether passing through, coming for work, or exploring the area, our Lacey home will be perfect for you! We are less than 2 miles from I-5, with easy access to the surrounding area of Olympia, JBLM, Tacoma, Mt. Rainier, and even Olympic Nat. Park. Enjoy a comfortable room with private, in-suite bathroom, a continental breakfast, and a TV set up for streaming with Netflix included! Restaurants/shopping including Costco, Safeway and Starbucks are located nearby. Other info. listed in guidebook.
Total privacy is what you can expect! You'll enjoy a cozy, warm room with a very comfy bed and a private bathroom within your room. In your down time, hope you take advantage of the TV equipped with an Apple TV for your streaming pleasure...with free access to Netflix. Also, enjoy some goodies with your coffee/tea during your stay or take it to go:) The room has a door lock for extra security and piece of mind. Feel free to use it or not depending on your preference. Upon departure, please leave the key in the lock and the door to the bedroom open. If traveling with someone but sharing a bed is not the preferred option, there is a nice, thick floor mattress pad with additional bedding readily available, in the closet. You may notice that check-in time is 5 PM. Since both my husband and I work full time, we need a bit of time to get the room ready in-between guests. The 5 PM check-in will allow for our accommodations to be available more frequently rather than having it blocked out for prep time. In our experience, guests check in after 7 PM so this should not be a problem. You are welcome to send a message and check if the room is available before 5:00 PM.
We live in a fairly new neighborhood that's quiet and safe. Garbage day is on Monday so you may hear the garbage truck pass through. Also, landscaping is taken care of on Wednesdays by the homeowner's association.
  • This room was perfect! Totally exceeding our expectations. The location is secure, with no worries. The price was cheap for what they provide in a room and amenities. I think Sylvia and Gary should charge more for this place. *****

    Mark2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • We were very impressed! Sylvia and Gary's place was even better than we expected and a wonderful value.

    Jessica2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This room was AMAZING. There were many amenities! The hosts were really nice and responded fast, decorations were beautiful, the bed was very soft and comfortable as well as the pillows, and there were many options shows/movies on the tv . Very private, relaxing and quiet and the hosts left a very sweet card on the bed with a chocolate upon arrival! I enjoyed my stay here very much and would highly recommend staying here!!! This is definitely worthy of 5 stars :)

    Whitney2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Sylvia and Gary extended hospitality that was well-beyond expectation. Their home was in a nice quiet location and the suite was clean, organized, well-appointed. It was obvious they did everything they could think of to make their guests feel welcome; from the "welcome" card on the bed to the plentiful snacks and breakfast food. The suite was cosy and comfortable. I could not think of anything lacking. I feel we got much more than we paid for. Generous hosts.

    Genevieve2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Sylvia & Gary’s place should be the standard for Airbnb facilities. They go above expectations to ensure their guests have a memorable stay. Willie Williams,

  • Always a pleasant stay at Sylvia and Gary's home. My first choice of places to stay when we are in town.

    Jean2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • My bf and I loved our stay at Sylvia & Gary’s! It was as described! Clean and comfortable and quiet! Very thoughtful arrangements! And super helpful tips for local places to eat in the neighbour hood! The check in was easy and there was lots of street parking outside! Super happy with our stay, they are very accommodating and we had a memorable First family road trip to Lacey! Thank you so much for everything! Would definitely stay again!

This little cabin was built for my daughter Who is now 27 And being busy busy busy, so we have staged it for guest because when she comes home she sleeps on the couch lol My property is 5 1/2 of Pristine Northwest forest. My property is basically one big hill with my house sit at the top, the small cabin you will stay at is on the lower landing next to an amazing tiny house, the goats sleep half up the hill in the Goat castle, currently under a major remodel. please walk up the hill and see
I am working on the city slicker dream of home steading and growing mine own food, this has been a work in progress for the last 12 years, with some bumps in the road I continue to work on my project keeping my dream intact. Although it is close to Highway 99, I hope you enjoy my little slice of the forest. I live on a hill, so it is is very diverse property, The cabin is on the lower lot next to another tiny house, it is very private because the tiny house people keep to them selves, unless you knock on there door for tour, yes it is that cool you will want to see inside! There is a fire pit by the cabin, and sometimes you will find a nice stack of wood to enjoy a fire,if not feel free to gather some.
I know the owners of two great restaurant 2 min from my place , one is Don Jaun’s Mexican kitchen and the other is T90 pizza $$ If you are into beer I recommend Matchless brewery about 11 minutes from my place. Also close by is the Cidermill, about five minutes away. Wolf Haven is also close.
  • We loved staying here. It was super cozy and the goats on the farm were super cute. The place had great amenities like snacks in case you forget and firewood to make smores

  • Tom was very friendly, came by to say hi shortly after I arrived. While small (as expected) I found the space very comfortable and well appointed. Tom even generously left some food and drink for guests to enjoy. The bathroom is separate, but warm, clean and with plenty of hot water. Great spot.

    Greg2019-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Tom’s place is incredible! I stayed there for two nights and wish I could have stayed longer. Tom is such a great host. He really goes above and beyond for his guests. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to go to get out of the city for a little!

Located in the heart of Lacey just minutes from Saint Martin’s University, Providence St. Peter’s Hospital, & downtown Olympia
This private room has a comfortable twin size bed with linens and plenty of storage space. The bathroom is shared and includes towels, shampoo, hand & body soap as well as your own drawer for your toiletries. Kitchen use is available and a shelf in the fridge as well in the pantry will be dedicated for your use only, you are welcome to use any spices, oil, foil, etc. in the cabinet and any condiments located in the doors of the refrigerator, I just ask if you use the last of it you replace it and that you clean up after yourself.
The neighborhood is an older established one, I have lived here over 20 years and know all my neighbors. There is a beautiful park walking distance from the house and just a short walk to a major city bus line
  • This is a quiet and clean, relaxed place to stay when visiting Lacey or Olympia, and unbeatable value, too. Hosts, who live in the home, are friendly and helpful. House is on a quiet residential street.

Rustic log cabin built by homesteaders in 1901. Lovingly restored w/ modern conveniences & comfort. ENTIRE 750 SQUARE FOOT CABIN is yours to enjoy. Snuggle by the fire, read a book or visit area attractions. Resident wildlife (deer, rabbits, hawks, eagles, blue heron, owls, coyotes & occasional elk) share the wooded 52 acre property. Cabin is nestled next to a seasonal pond w/ private yard & outdoor BBQ area to relax & enjoy nature. 10 min. to Yelm, w/in 60 min. to Mt. Rainier, Olympia & Tacoma
Admire the hand-hewn Douglas Fir logs made from this original homestead property in 1901. Snuggle up to the gas fireplace or relax in the cozy living area. Listen to the peaceful hooting sounds of owls who reside in the surrounding old growth trees. Watch deer graze outside your window. A seasonal pond is just steps away from the back door where ducks and blue heron thrive. A great place to unwind, unplug and get back to nature. (Intentionally no TV provided to help you unplug!) Well appointed with your comfort in mind. There are some cosmetic items (trim, landscaping, loft area, etc.) that are still a part of our ongoing renovation and restoration of the property, but all the important things are fully functioning and completed (kitchen, bath, heating). Please be patient as we lovingly restore this amazing piece of history. Your experience is most important to us and we will continuely be improving and restoring our cabin in the woods.
PLEASE realize this is a rural setting but Yelm is ONLY 10-12 minutes away (5.8 miles). Yes, I've had reviews that commented we were "away from town" (as a bad thing) and rated accordingly!! The good news is, our area is quiet, tranquil and secluded on a 52 acre property with few neighbors. Owner's main house is located on property. Yelm is a town with about 6,000 population with grocery, cinemas, restaurants, golf course, parks and a community theatre. Less than 90 minutes to Seattle and Mt. St. Helen's and 60 minutes to Mt. Rainier National Park. Only 45-50 minutes to Tacoma, museums, Olympia (capitol of Washington), Puget Sound water activities, Wolf Haven and Northwest Trek. 15 minutes to Deschutes Falls hiking, Lawrence Lake and the Chehalis Trail for hiking and biking. There are Antique Malls in Tenino (20 min) and Centralia (40 min), RedWind Casino (20 min) and much more, just ask and I can give recommendations for whatever your interests are.
  • Definitely will be coming back! So peaceful and quiet

    Cassie2020-03-15T00:00:00Z

    Trista2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was a magical little oasis in Washington. It was even more than we expected. Every need was met and we were as comfortable as can be for our stay. Therese was a great host who was available anytime we needed. They left us with a warm welcome, information on the area and even a stocked kitchen. What a great quiet space to make memories with a loved one.

    Dani2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a cozy little place tucked away in the woods. A great place to center oneself and reconnect with loved ones.

  • Peggys place was beautiful. This was my first AirB&B experience and I would recommend anyone coming to Olympia stay here. The place was easy to access. It was cute and stylish, with small thought touches such as breakfast bars and coffee. The bed was comfortable, even the rugs were super soft. The place was sparkly clean. It had a great view of the backyard which was spacious. Peggy was always responsive if I had any questions or needed anything but also respected my privacy. I would recommend staying here for sure!

Luxurious beds and linens. Well stocked kitchen. Adorable cozy little cottage backs up to the forest. Eclectic and modern and everything is brand new!
The home is located about 12 minutes from downtown Olympia and about 7 minutes from Lacey.
  • Wonderful place to rest and relax! I woke up to the most beautiful view every morning and it was quiet and peaceful all day. The kitchen has basic spices and oils, and it’s a gas stove. Cottage is close to the water and you can watch the tide come in and go out. Bed is amazing!!! I’m still missing that bed! It’s compact but well designed to meet your needs.

    Audrey2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! The sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. If you’re looking for privacy, just know it’s not completely that way. You are close to 4 other small homes. Cute cottage though and great for relaxing! Nice welcome package was a great touch.

    Rachel2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • It is so cute and cozy. I loved the view and watching the birds and tide come in and out. I was even visited by some deer. It was very peaceful and relaxing. They put in so many little personal touches like a sticker on the toilet paper and mints by the bed. There was also a chalkboard with our name welcoming us and a tasty snack! They thought of everything including binoculars to look out at the wildlife. The windows all along the back part of the cottage made for easy viewing of the scenery. It was fun to get out and kayak when the tide was in also. I would definitely recommend this cottage. I plan on returning again!

  • This place was fantastic.

    Nicole2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is THE place to stay! I wish we had booked our while trip here, but only stayed the first two nights while in Olympia. The cabin is a very quick and pleasant drive into town. There is also a preserve nearby with a paved trail and Priest Point is a short drive as well. The wildlife we viewed from the miraculous bed each morning was so beautiful and peaceful. That bed though. So good!!! Even though there are some other properties near by, so much thought was put into the privacy of each one. We really appreciated the serenity inside and out and will definitely stay here for future trips in the area.

  • Jessicas space is beautiful and full of thoughtful touches from the music being on when we arrived to drinks and chocolates on the counter. The cottage is closer to other Airbnb’s than I realized. In the pictures it looks more secluded than it is, however, I’d say this one is the most private of all the little units she has there. We had a great time! Thanks for providing a great Airbnb experience. Best!

  • We had THE MOST RELAXING time! We had everything we needed, and it was so stylish and comfortable. All the furniture is high quality, and the futon is actually comfortable! My favorite was getting up in the morning and taking a soak in the hot tub and looking out at the water, absolute perfection! And, the coffee and pastries at The Topside coffee shop were so good! Scratch made and delicious and just down the road. ❤️

  • An amazing little place to stay at! There were so many special little touches in this little home! The weather was not cooperating for our planned hike on Rainier so we opted to stay in and relax! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to just kick up our feet and enjoy the sound of the wind and rain! We will surely be back!

    Rosa2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely setting. Out of the way. Cottage is cozy with sizable bedroom. Totally relaxing.

  • Vivian's cottage is a cozy quiet space, with a well stock snack cupboard, bathroom necessities, and a cozy bed, and a whole lot of nice-ities!

    Melody2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Vivian's place is well maintained, nicely furnished and well equipped with many thoughtful extras provided. The location is rural and would make a good base camp for Mount Rainier National Park, a stop over between Seattle and Portland or (as in my case) a quiet place for some down time, writing, etc. Check-in/check-out and communication was easy. I highly recommend Vivian's place.

    Amanda2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A lot of thought went behind all the little touches found in the home: the bed I've dubbed, "the marshmallow" because of all the fluffy white blankets and pillows, the whimsical flamingo coffee mugs that matched the color of the house and from which I enjoyed my morning coffee out along the water, and the welcome sign and bottle of wine and treats that greeted us personally when we entered. I wish the weather was more cooperative so that we could've used the kayaks, but I definitely made the effort to soak in the hot tub and enjoy the serenity the area had to offer. Thank you for wonderfully, relaxing time! Hope to come back again when the weather is nicer!

    Ann2020-02-25T00:00:00Z

The house is at the end of a long driveway in a gorgeous private wooded setting on the Westside. In the winter you'll have a peek-a-boo view of Budd Bay Inlet. It's close to downtown, the Capitol, the food co-op, Evergreen State College, public transport, shopping, restaurants, and groceries. Everything you need is within a mile or less, yet the house is secluded, quiet and surrounded by woods. You'll feel like you're out in the country, but with everything you need nearby.
NOTE: Please read everything so you will be 100% satisfied during and after your stay with your choice and plans, and your needs will be met. The room is up it’s own set of stairs and is totally private, with an attached private bath and a wooded view from the windows. It's furnished with dresser, large closet, extra blankets and towels as well as a mini fridge, electric tea kettle, coffee machine, a usb charging station, an assortment of teas, coffees and snacks, mugs, silverware, etc. You'll have cable TV with HBO and Showtime, wifi, and use of washer/dryer. The room is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Kitchen use is not included. If you need to cook, this isn't the place for you. I work at home and have two cats, so no pets please, and no cigarette smokers. This is a 420 friendly home, but no smoke indoors, please. I welcome visitors of any gender, sexuality and ethnicity, and have a deep commitment to and belief in diversity and respect. **Important Note: One note: You probably saw references in my reviews to the fresh baked scones in the morning . I'm sorry, but due to changes in my schedule I can no longer offer breakfast.
The Westside is a cozy, friendly neighborhood, and is safe and quiet. There is a short nature trail nearby, and the food co-op and a neighborhood restaurant just a few blocks away. There are also many other shops, restaurants, and a mall within a mile or less. If you are coming to Olympia for the legal pot, there are two stores within a mile and several more close by. I do ask that you don't smoke in the room, but outside is fine.
  • This is hands down the best place you could stay in Olympia. I can't even begin to describe all of the thoughtful touches that Pam puts into this space. She truly cares about people and just wants to share her amazing home with travelers. Me and my wife cannot thank her enough for the great time we had.

    Jonathan2020-03-07T00:00:00Z

    Sam2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here for two nights while I came up for a stressful couple of days of apartment hunting. Pam’s place was such a nice respite from all of that! Peaceful, quiet, and the darkest room (in the best way) for sleeping. I got to watch the deer chillin in the back for about 2 hours one morning as well! So nice. I’ll recommend to anyone who visits me in my new city!

    Jim2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Amazingly charming place tucked away in the middle of the city! Pam was such a gracious host, and all her local recommendations for restaurants was spot on! Don’t miss out on this little slice of heaven!

  • Pam was a very kind and inviting host. The room was spacious and lovely. There were many nice, personal touches that really created a home-like feeling. Also, the location was perfect. At the end of a lane, surrounded by trees and green, I opened the window to fall asleep to the sounds of rain in the trees one night, and awoke to deer in back years the next. I highly highly recommend Pam.

  • I brought my son to Stephanie’s place to celebrate his 7th birthday. It was such a lovely experience for us to get away from the flow of our normal routine and spend time just the two of us. Stephanie was outside when we arrived and greeted us warmly. The space was clean and cozy. We loved that it felt so close to nature but was so easily accessible. We loved going for a walk with Stephanie and the goats in the morning. She has truly created a special place!

    Melissa2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie's place is comfortable and was just what we needed. There is a nicely stocked kitchen. The setting is lovely and quiet.

    Chris2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • I don't think I could have found a better spot to stay in Olympia. I used Stephanie's spot as a home base while at a training in Tumwater. It was a great location for all forms of transportation. I walked and biked everywhere. It's also very close to Watershed Park, one of my favorite in the city. The place was tidy, super comfy, and Mac/Dutch the goats were even cuter in person than pictures. Stephanie was easy going, communicative, and very fun to chat with.

We offer hi speed Wi-Fi, a full cable package with HBO, Starz, Cinemax, Encore, and NFL Redzone during the football season (Go Hawks!). There’s a 48” flatscreen television with swivel arm from the wall so you can watch from your seats, the table, or the comfort of your bed. There’s even one of those sit-on-bed-armchair-whatchies so you can sit up in comfort. The bathroom is a fully functional ¾ bath, but not fancy. There are soft towels and high quality soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. We’ve put toothpaste and toothbrushes and a couple of other extras in there, in case you forgot yours. We offer a kitchenette-type set-up with a small refrigerator, fully functional toaster oven (you can cook chicken in there!), hot plate, electric kettle, and microwave. Really, it’s everything you would need to make a meal happen, if you were so inclined. Basic pots and pans and cooking utensils as well as plates, bowls, cups, flatware, and cloth napkins. There’s also some very basic kitchen products - olive oil, salt & pepper, sugar, pancake batter (enjoy our favorite, local Snoqualmie Falls batter), syrup, a couple of sodas in the fridge, etc. Help yourself! Coffee, we consider very important. It is the Pacific Northwest after all, and Olympia lives up to the coffee fame. Use the coffee pot to brew the provided locally roasted coffee from our favorite spot, Batdorf and Bronson. Basic coffee condiments provided (splenda, coffeemate, sugar), half and half available on request.
We put together a Welcome Book with our favorite restaurants, sights, shopping, hikes, parks, and things to do in the area. We hope you enjoy it!
  • I am a repeat guest - great place!

  • True to their word, the hosts left me mostly to myself. The only interaction I had with them was when one of their dogs decided she didn't like me, but she's harmless. Would stay again.

  • This is the perfect place to stay for our overnight visit's to Olympia. It would be a great weekend place too. Clean, comfortable and easy spot to go all around Olympia from.

    Lisa2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great studio for one or two people. Nice touches like homemade muffins and jam, a binder with instructions including restaurant recommendations and suggestions for things to do. Quiet location, very comfortable bed, basic kitchen - perfect if you don’t need a full kitchen (oven, stove, etc). Good location for the Tumwater/Olympia area. I’d stay again.

    Kathy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of my top 5 Airbnb stays. Super organized, had all that we needed and more. I was very comfortable and felt like a home away from home. There’s not one thing I can pin point, it just felt really homey and comfy. One of our best stays so far!

    Nicole2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I've stayed at Hannah and Dave's many times and I always have a great experience.

We enjoyed going down to the food court is short walk away and walking back in the cold winter air. You from Los Angeles I'm not used to sleeping somewhere that is so quiet, it was very relaxing and I felt very rested after sleeping In This Very cozy unit

Your private entrance (double doors) leads from your patio to a spacious bedroom and bath in this northwest neighborhood of Olympia. You are invited to make yourself at home and enjoy the patio and the indoor space as if it were your own.
Your private bed/bath is a great place to relax. There is a queen bed with comfortable mattress. If you need to get some work done, there is a desk, chair, and wifi. The space is best for one or two adults, but kids are welcome - send me an inquiry before booking and we will work out the details. The bedroom and bath have many of the amenities that you would find in a hotel: coffee maker, microwave, compact fridge, television, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, towels, linens, and toiletries. Please note: the shower is rather small and is not wheelchair accessible. I hope to upgrade the shower in the near future. You will also have an electric kettle, disposable plates/cups/silverware, fan, and space heater. We ask that you keep the space tidy and let us know if you need additional supplies. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly between guests.
This home is within walking distance, short drive, or bus ride (depending on your level of mobility and preference) of many destinations: downtown Olympia (1.5 miles), Washington State Capitol (2 miles), the Evergreen State College (4 miles), Percival Landing (1.4 miles), and Capital Mall (0.7 miles), and the Olympia Farmers Market (1.7 miles). Looking for a bite to eat or some coffee? Vic's Pizza (0.1 mile), Koibito Sushi (0.3 mile), Olympia Coffee Roasting (0.3 mile), Phoebe's Pastry Cafe (0.2 mile), BITS Cafe (0.7 mile), the Iron Rabbit (0.3 mile), and Hash (0.2 mile) are among the local restaurants/coffee shops that are a short walk from your room.
  • This was a perfect place for a quick weekend trip. The place was very clean and nice. Was great having a tv as well. We enjoyed the code that made it easy to come and go as we please.

    Ana2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable and very clean. Cozy space (and surprisingly spacious bathroom!) perfect for a couple people. Sue was very responsive to my questions and even left a little welcome note! Definitely recommend!

    Reilly2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great!! Sues place is amazing! Would highly recommend!!

    Sara2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great place with everything you need. Host responds quickly and provides a great experience.

    Jon2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This space was perfect for my girlfriend and I to stay in over a weekend while I attended my orientation at Evergreen. We were actively surprised at how many amenities and small touches that Sue had provided in the room!

    Tyler2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay at Sue’s place! She added very thoughtful touches to the bedroom with travelers in mind. Snacks, drinks, mini fridge, microwave, disposable utensils, wine opener, ironing board, hangers, and even an umbrella! The place was also very clean. I did not meet Sue in person, but she left a nice welcoming note on the table. I’d love to stay at her place again!

    Jackie2019-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • It was great coming back to Sue’s place again. By now, it’s really come to feel like a home away from home. On this visit, I had a little more time to explore the local area on foot, and was able to find a nice selection of both inexpensive casual restaurants and fancier fare for special occasions. At both restaurants I went to, the staff was friendly and the food was very good, so it’s nice to know that you have reliable food options within walking distance for when you’re tired and don’t want to drive anywhere. Sue also has takeout menus at her place for some of the nearby restaurants, as well as other helpful basic info. on the local area in a handy binder that’s kept on a desk you can use to eat at or work on. As with my previous stays, everything was spotless but the place also still feels homey. Indeed, everything was as good on this stay as on my first stay several weeks ago, and though I’ll be moving on for now I hope to come back sometime next year. Sue’s also very good about giving you space to do whatever you need to do, but she’s also very responsive if you need anything. Very much a five-star experience all-around—thank you for being such a great host, Sue!

    Albert2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sue's place is comfortable and cozy with lots of extra touches like ground coffee & yogurt to get you started in the morning. Her place is easy to find & very conveniently located. We are happy to find such a great place to stay when we come to Olympia.

Can't beat the view and location! This charming studio apartment sits separate from the main house allowing maximum privacy as you come and go. It is located 1.5 miles from downtown Olympia, 0.4 miles from Tumwater Falls park and trails, 0.6 miles from a kayak/canoe launch pad, and less than 10 minutes from West Olympia shopping/Capital Mall! The quaint space offers a queen size bed and a futon sofa, comfortably sleeping 2-4 people, with a kitchenette for your convenience. You'll love it!
The entirety of the guest suite.
The neighborhood is very safe, and the house itself is located on a very private lot seperate from the main road.
  • Terrific location and wonderful hosts! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here!

    Sherry2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing view! Quiet neighborhood, cute accommodations. The bungalow is quite small, as advertised, but was more than adequate for myself and my adult son. The shower, while tiny, has amazing water pressure and the towels were very nice. The bed was very comfortable but the couch sleeper sofa was less so. All in all it was a very fun place to stay. I would recommend it for its view and price point. Definitely an excellent value.

    Elaine2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for one or two travelers on the go. Close to I-5, and you can be downtown in minutes. Full kitchen allows you to prepare meals and save cost on eating out. Would definitely recommend.

    Liz2019-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • The coziest stay I've ever had away from home! We felt so welcome and taken care of, and the view can't be beat. The reviews about the highway made us a bit nervous but you can't even hear it inside and the location is so worth it. This is definitely somewhere I'd book again, can't wait to go back!
