We also offer a private cruiser tour of Omura Bay departing from Huis Ten Bosch Marina and a SUP experience tour at Kujuku Island National Park. (Fees apply for options.) Please feel the beautiful sea of Sasebo up close. There are many restaurants around the house, such as a delicious Champon shop, sushi shop, Izakaya, and a ramen shop with long lines. There is also a large supermarket just a 5-minute walk away, so you can buy local ingredients and relax at the accommodation. If you get tired of walking around Huis Ten Bosch, enjoy the local delicacies, relax in the bath at the accommodation, and enjoy your stay in Sasebo. KIGI MOKU MOKU is a host-style home located in Kosasamachi, Sasebo City, about 20 minutes by car north of downtown Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, facing the abundant sea at the westernmost tip of Japan. Having lived here for 50 years, the trees in the yard have grown large and envelop the house that was rebuilt 20 years ago. When the morning sun rises, the birds begin to chirp, the crickets begin to sing, and shadows are cast on the wet edges. When the sun sets, the sky is full of stars, and on moonlit nights, you can see the shadow of the Buddhist priest. You'll be able to slowly feel the time change throughout the day. There is a barrel sauna in the corner of the private garden. Enjoy the outdoors in the garden at your leisure. Breakfast is served with fresh local ingredients. Dinner is optional. It's also fun to visit the host's recommended neighborhood shops. The host will help you with your trip from a moderate distance. Please use it as a base for your trip with friends and family.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.
