This is a modern Japanese-style house newly built in January 2024. 2 minutes on foot from the station (airport line), and 5 minutes on foot to the sea, hot springs, and shopping center. You can also enjoy leisure and sports (golf, marine sports, hiking, and touring). Limited to one group per day, so you can use all the space. Right in front of it is Nijii-no-Matsubara, one of Japan's top three Matsubara pine forests. You can also walk to the beach through the pine forest or enjoy cycling. We also support long-term stays. It has a tatami mat room with a large veranda, a living room, a dining kitchen, a bath, and a toilet. It can accommodate up to 7 people. Perfect for families and group trips. There is a convenience store and restaurant within walking distance. Wi-Fi and parking available. It is also fully equipped with amenities such as a fridge, microwave, pot, coffee maker, washing machine, hair dryer, bath supplies, etc. We also provide cooking utensils and Arita ware dishes that can be used to make simple dishes. We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.

It is 5 minutes to Kohama Onsen, 30 minutes to Unzen Onsen, and 1 hour to Shimabara Onsen, so you can easily enjoy the whole Shimabara Peninsula in a day! It's also a good base for active movement.
