Room and house super clean and very pleasant stay with Lola.

Lola has been very nice. I was going to a wedding and he has offered me everything to be able to go perfect, I had a problem with the dress and he lent me his sewing machine!

I really recommend this place to stay and visit. The town is awesome even the journey is quite challenging, but it worth it. Lola is great, we had some problems with another accommodation therefore we had to find something else. And she offered us her apartment duting 20 minutes. Thank you once again, we really appreciate that.

All as described, Lola was quick to reply so check in was easy. I had a wedding in the area and I wanted somewhere quiet.bed was comfy and it was all spotlessly clean all good.

Jacobo's room is bright and airy with a clean ensuite bathroom. Check in was made easy by his constant communication so we were on the same page, and he gave great help for finding local free parking and restaurant recommendations!

We have had a great experience being the first time in a private room. Jacobo let us use the facilities of the house without any inconvenience, we also enjoyed a pleasant dinner with him. The room is very complete and comfortable, ideal for two people and two suitcases. The bathroom is private and the closet large and organized. Excellent location, near the main tourist points. Highly recommended.

Was very content with my stay. Communication was very efficient. They speak Spanish and English so it's easy to get recommendations. It's near to the old town and not much further to the beach. The room is compact but has plenty of chargers, hangers and storage.

I only stayed one night but i felt very welcomed and would definitely stay again :)

I have spent little time in the accommodation, but the hospitality is very good and the treatment is very friendly. The room is small, but comfortable, for one person it is very good. At night it is very quiet and you can rest very well. Recommended!

A little gem of a place, would really recommend to anyone looking for something authentic in Spain. The apartment had wonderful views out the back and while it is a challenging walk, it's a lot of fun to drive the streets of Ojen! The apartment is spotless and the terrace is lovely for some afternoon sunshine.

The drive to the apartment was a bit harrowing, especially the hill next to the Airbnb but once we got there, it was wonderful! The view is spectacular, especially with a glass of wine hanging out on the balcony. Maribel was wonderful. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

This is an elegant and charming place to stay. Beautiful bedroom/sitting room and separate cute kitchen and bathroom. Everything works very well. And to make it perfect there is a huge private terrace for dining with loungers as well, and lovely view towards the sea. Great parking for a car. There is a swimming pool on site to share with guests which is in a pretty setting with great views. Altogether excellent value for money. We hope to return again.

The property seems secluded when you are there, above the hustle and bustle of Marbella but the truth is you are just minutes from the city center! Marie is a terrific host. Fabulous private sunny terrace in front of the studio, access to the swimming pool and an all round wonderful experience. Sure to be back!

Location, accommodation and the lovely hosts are amazing! Everything is exactly as described and as shown in the photos. An incredibly peaceful location, with great facilities, all top quality. Having spent almost 2 months driving around Spain, staying mainly in Air BnB, I can safely say that this property rates most highly and would not hesitate in recommending it!!

Beautiful apartment just outside the hustle and bustle of Marbella but still close enough for convenience. Awesome views from the front garden and lovely pool. The apartment was spacious, clean and very comfortable, and Marie & Peter were delightful when we met them at check in/out.

The stay with Marie was just perfect. She welcomed us warmly and lovingly and took her time to show us the apartment and the complex. She had good tips and was always available. We had wonderful days on site and will gladly come back again.

Great place for relaxation, far enough away from the city to feel secluded, but close enough for a walk into town - great bed too!

Fading places was very clean and neat. We stayed a week for our baby moon during Christmas. Gadi was very responsive and always checked if we needed any recommendations. He was available for early check in that we requested, unfortunately our flight got delayed and Gadi was there when we arrived to greet us still. His place was very nice, enough for 6-8 people but we were only 2. He left us wine and food in the fridge for us and was an exceptional host. We highly recommend Gadi place.

Absolutely amazing stay here in the Villa. Really enjoyed it. The view from the infinity pool is amazing! Netflix is available for the nights you want to Sit in and chill. 15/20 minute drive to Marbella, it’s nice to get away from the madness of Marbella. Thank you Gadi. We all absolutely loved it.

The villa is very well equipped with anything you need for cooking and leisure. The location is quiet and peaceful. Beds comfy and villa was clean. We enjoyed the stay very much, thank you very much! The location is spectacular: absolute great sea view, right on the beach and the beach promenade, very nice and spacious terrace with lounge, quiet, extremely central, all within walking distance: it could not be better. The studio is ideal for 2-4 persons, ideal for a family with children. A comfortable double bed, in addition 2 real pull-out beds with slatted frame. A new, small but functional kitchen. Price / performance probably a bit of the best.

One of the best places we have been! The appartment is situated just a little bit in shore in a very quiet community. We played golf on La Cala golf courses (54 holes) which is only 10 minutes drive away. Elviria beach with cosy restaurants on the beach within 10 minutes! The best thing about the appartment are the terraces, big and all day sun with a stunning view over the Mediterraneum. The house is very well equiped and all you need is available. We will certainly return!

The perfect getaway!!! We stayed at Peter’s place for 4 days, loved every minute and didn’t want to leave. There is everything that makes a house a home. The location is great, stunning view, not far from supermarkets and restaurants but also not too close to be in the noise. The most peaceful place we have been to. Even tho it was the beginning of March, we could enjoy the sun in the terrace and down at the pool. Couldn’t recommend it more. It was our first time and will certainly be back.

What can I say, the apartment is a dream. And the great view is simply beautiful. The sun shines on your nose in the morning, what could be nicer. I can fully recommend the apartment, it is super clean and very nicely decorated. As shown in the pictures, it really is. A stroke of luck. We will be back.

Lovely place, enjoyed our relaxing stay

We found Peter's place to be very modern and tastefully decorated, with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and Mediterranean Sea. Even though our stay was during winter storm Gloria, it was a great place to just watch the thunderstorms go by on rainy days. Peter was an excellent host. He stayed in touch to make sure we were satisfied or needed anything.

This really is a wonderful place, the photos show very accurately the sense of space and light. There is every comfort and the outside area is huge. The gardens are beautifully maintained and there is an air of exclusivity generally. Peter was great to message and took every care to help us have a good time. It is the perfect place for a couple to relax and enjoy the most amazing view.

It is a fantastic apartment, the terrace is wonderful. It is worth spending time in it at breakfast and dinner. It is also very well located 15-20 minutes from the beach, and very close to hiking trails.

We loved it here! The views of Ojen are stunning and there are excellent hiking trails nearby. My husband and I stayed for two nights and it was a beautiful, quiet spot in the mountains. The place is clean, located about 800m above the town square so be prepared to walk uphill after a meal in town. Its an excellent exercise but not for anyone out of shape. Mirabel and Juan were super friendly and helpful. They also answered all our questions promptly. I would highly recommend this place for couples or solo travellers

The accommodation of Maribel is great. Nicely decorated, and the view is amazing. The communication worked out very well and was kindly received by Maribel's husband. Too bad we spent only one night. Marbella and Malaga are easily accessible by car. If you like being in nature and looking for peace is exactly right there.

Good place, good hospitality, good value

Stefano’s place is as advertised. The Samara resort is beautiful with outstanding views and amenities. The property is secure and terrifically maintained. My wife and I had extended stay of 6 weeks. The support services were outstanding including property management and instant communication.This is a great place to relax in a beautiful setting. A car is definitely recommended if you want to explore beautiful Marbella and surrounding communities which is a must.

This accommodation has a location of 10! Near the beach, but also from the old part. The fact that the room has a private bathroom is a real hoot. If I go back to Marbella, I will repeat.

Jose was very polite and loyal, in the apartment everything was the same as in photographs, we are very glad that he stayed with him, I gladly recommend staying with him :) The neighbors are very friendly and funny, we will be happy to come back to Jose! !! And we got into the situation with the coronavirus, the borders were closed to our country and we were unable to leave, Jose was very attentive and understanding, he helped us a lot. Jose's place is really nice if you want to find good and not so expensive place to stay in Marbella. The apartment is divided on 3 private rooms and a kitchen, dining room and bathroom to share. My stay was in room 3, which was small but cozy. The whole place was clean, there were also towels, soap and other useful things. Jose was responsive and was willing to help if needed. The apartment is in secured flat and calm neighborhood, so no need to worry. The location was accurate and easy to find. I would stay in Jose's place again, if I need it. :)

Although we are very demanding with respect to the quality of an accomodation we were very satisfied with this really nice and comfortable apartment. English: Elena's place was beyond wonderful, great value for the price, one of my favorite Airbnb's I have ever stayed in! The hosts are very gracious and the room is extremely comfortable and cute, we slept very well. Easily the best part was the view, huge windows in the bedroom overlooks all of Ojén! With a balcony as well watching the sunset / sunrise was lovely. Absolutely worth the stay Spanish: Elena's room was more than pretty, and for the price it is even better! Definitely the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. Elena and her husband are very friendly and the room incredibly comfortable and beautiful, we slept in luxury. The best part has to be without a doubt the view from the balcony, you can see all the town of Ojen and beyond to the Mediterranean sea and you can also observe the sunrise and sunset. Fantastic apartment - clean and spacious. Walking distance to old town and to the beach. Fast communication. Clean travel cot for baby supplied. Had to ask for a few things that were supposed to be supplied (beach towels and shampoo) - they were brought straight away. We would stay again.

The apartment is very clean and tidy. Everything was good and comfortable we even had our own bathroom which was very clean as well. The kitchen is well equipped. The host was nice but he was late for the check-in.

I made a step there. It was very good, bright, large room with adjoining bathroom, balcony, sea view in the distance. The other rooms to share are well furnished and welcoming. I recommend.

If you ever come to Marbella, keep in mind that José's apartment is well located. It is about 10 minutes from the bus station (on foot), near the center, and near it there is everything. Varied stores, coffee shops, gas station, among others. José is a very kind and available person. The house always smells good and is very clean. Common rooms such as well-equipped kitchen, living room and terrace. The part that I liked the most was the terrace that had sofas and small table, perfect place to read a book, work or just relax. I can't talk about the other rooms, but I was in No. 1 that was private and that was super good. With bathroom, terrace, double bed and wardrobe. I have felt at home, so I recommend. In addition, the price is very good once Marbella is an expensive place.

Maribel’s place is a hidden gem, a sweet loft with ample space for four people and nice balcony views. It is situated perfectly and within 2 hours drive to all the major attractions in Andalucía.

Maribel’s place was fantastic. We loved everything about it. So elegant with traditional touches, and the terrace with the pool were absolutely breathtaking. Ojén is a lovely little town with white houses and charming narrow cobbled streets. It was perfectly located for our road trip around Andalusia. It is true that it needs a confident driver to navigate the narrow and steep streets to get to the accommodation but it was no problem for us, and it was worth it. I would love to return for a longer stay. Thank you Maribel for your hospitality.

Can't beat the views and the outdoor space is great to have. The space was large enough and as described. Maribel was extremely communicative and flexible with check in and check out.

Maribel’s place is just perfect for a nice weekend away. It had all the amenities anyone could need, including for anything you would need to cook and Netflix already set up on a big tv! The pool is amazing, and behind it are views for days. Not great if you don’t have a car (like me!), however Uber does operate in the area. Maribel’s husband was kind enough to drive me to and from the store the morning after I arrived in order to pick up groceries. Would absolutely recommend to a solo traveller, couple, or small family or group of friends.

We stayed with 3 friends and enjoyed. Nice location, close to Marbella. But you need a car. Great facilities, nice pool and very clean. Would definitely recommend if you search for something private in a nice, quite area to relax and enjoy.

Thanks for a relaxing couple of nights, we received a warm welcome with four additional furry companions. It was good for us in a cooler December, but imagine the shade and outdoor space would be fantastic in the summer heat. I slept very well in a comfortable bed and the house very relaxing. Thank you

Amazing accommodation and a great host

We really loved the apartment of Javier and Emily. They are so nice and helpful. We could use their bicicles and go to the beach which is located 10 minutes from the bungalow. The area is very safe! We had a rental car so it was easy to go to Marbella city. We have just landed in Germany but we would go back anytime. Thank you for everything :) Virag & Simon

This house is simply lovely. It is the perfect place for a family holiday. The outside spaces make al-fresco dining a joy. We loved the choice of barbecues and made our first homemade pizzas in the pizza oven. Our family all had comfortable bedrooms and plenty of bathroom provision. Jose is a courteous but discreet host. He is there when you need him - as he was for us after an unusually heavy rainstorm put the pool out of action temporarily. Jose made sure the delay was minimised going the extra mile over the weekend to obtain pool parts. The walk into Ojén along the mountain path is mostly easy going and has wonderful views of the town. The views from the house itself are lovely, offering changing patterns of light and shade as the sunlight moves around the mountains. We loved it and hope to return soon.

This place was a little piece of heaven! If you enjoy peace and tranquility away from the busy areas then this is the place. If you love having spectacular views which you don’t tire of waking up to every day then this is where you need to be. If you love the sounds and sights of nature, but not too far from amenities then this is for you. We have just spent 2 weeks here and have loved every moment of it and didn’t want to leave. The house was easily accessible along the track and was immaculately clean on arrival. Jose kindly let us check in early as the flight times meant we would be waiting. Jose met us at a pick up point and led us to the house, which was very helpful. After dropping off all our luggage we were then able to stock up with essentials at the Canada shopping complex at Marbella which wasn’t too far. Two fridges and a freezer means you can stock up well. There are limited shops in Ojen, so this is the best option. Our flight arrived at Malaga and it was a really easy journey from there. We loved all the different sitting areas on different levels here which meant that eating outside was easy and there was always somewhere shady to sit. The pool was a very welcome addition too, with plenty of comfortable pool furniture. Different cooking options -barbecues, pizza oven, fie pit and of course the well stocked kitchen made the place just perfect. There were comfortable beds, plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries, which we appreciated. The house was surrounded by a beautifully well kept garden with an added interest factor of sheep and chickens. We didn’t have small children but the play area is also a great addition for those who do. Morning walks along the track behind the house were very enjoyable with great views towards Ojen and then the sea. We would love to return here as 2 weeks went far too quickly. I thoroughly recommend this beautiful place and want to thank Jose for the stay and hospitality- a well deserved super host status!

This house is every bit as good as all the other reviews say it is. Very private location in the hills, yet not too far from Ojen and then also Marbella (approx 15/20 minutes). Swimming pool was excellent and much needed! The garden is fantastic with lots of fresh produce and to hear the chickens and the bells of the sheep makes it seem quite rural. Fresh fruit from the trees another bonus. The outdoor cooking areas were also amazing and we made fresh pizza twice during the week. Jose was very helpful. Providing us information on where to go and what to see. Great for us as we wanted to hike and mountain bike and Jose knew local trails. He had even picked some fresh produce from the garden for ya on arrival. Overall fantastic. The best Airbnb experience I have had.

I rarely write reviews, but José's house impressed us so much that I wanted to write one or two lines about it. Not only is José an extremely nice, attentive and quick host, no, he lays cleanliness in his extravagantly furnished house, which even puts a smile on the face of a perfectionist like me. José's estate can wait even more than the photos show. The outdoor area is divided into a total of four levels that leave nothing to be desired. There is a large pool, a pizza oven, a gas grill, a charcoal grill and a giant square with a fireplace and a huge terrace with a wonderful view of the green mountains and Ojèn and the sea. The house is by Spanish standards, and we have already seen a lot, extremely comfortable, tasteful and clean. In particular, the cleanliness must be highlighted again! This was almost autistic on arrival on Saturday. Great team. All in all, we can highly recommend José's five star accommodation.

We could not have asked for a better Host than Jose Manuel. He accommodated our every request. The home is an absolute Oasis of calm and tranquility, but still only a short distance away from Marbella. The multiple terraces make relaxing and entertaining a dream. If you like exercise the 7.3km walk / run loop from the property helps with too much Tapas. Highly recommend this property as one of the best authentic Spanish experiences. Ojén is a lovely town only a few minutes away for lunch / dinner and basic shopping and a great 25m pool in season for 2€ !

This is a fantastic property in every way, the views are spectacular and the property immaculate. Situated in a lovely remote location - yet no more than a 20 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast sitting outside on the terrace, followed by a swim in the pool... perfect! The outdoor space is huge with a number of different places to relax and enjoy the views. We noted one of the reviews said a 4X4 would be best to access the property but we had no problems with just our normal sized car. Highly recommended.
